Small 2-3 Sentence Description of yourself:

I am currently studying to become a Physician's Assistant; I love science and healthcare. I am avid at volunteering as I believe in improving the community. I have a wonderful girlfriend whom I love, almost as much as gaming!

How much time could you be on the server weekly?:

The end of the semester is now only a week and a half away then I will have an absolute amount of free time to spend. On an average day, at the very least, two to three hours a day during the school year. Probably five hours each day on the weekend.

What do you know about Roleplaying? What is it?:

Roleplaying is a diverse topic. I would define it openly as grasping an idea and firmly removing yourself in replace of the idea, to fully become the idea. A more refined definition I would use for character roleplaying would be to submerge the personal spirit in replace for a fictional one.

In your own Words, describe what Metagaming and Powergaming are.

Metagaming involves using any outside sources to aid in the development of a character or action. Powergaming is the lack of story in replacement for skill, or not being realistic.

What do you expect this server will be like?:

Like the start of a new life; the birth of a new person! Epic adventures, new friendships, hopefully the forging of a new village, town, maybe even a nation!

What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?:

I only have played on one and I already forget the name of it xD I have not actually actively played Minecraft because my old laptop was from 2002, and now I have a new one. The reason I left was because the server was really glitchy and that sort of ended my Minecraft career.

Have you read, understood, and agreed to the rules?:

Indeed, and I enjoyed reading them. They were very well structured and phrased.

How did you hear about us?:

I have become majorly interested in Minecraft once more, and so I searched Google for a Minecraft heavy roleplay server. This server was one of the top ten in a list I found, so I researched the server and found many Youtube Videos on it. Everyone seemed to enjoy themselves immensely and I loved the Nations theme, so I decided to give it a go!

Character Name: Mairthil Il'isth

What is your Race?: Elven.

Biography(This should include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.):

Mairthil was born into the House Il'isth, an only child as most Elves live as. His parents were not the most wealthiest, but they managed to survive. Mairthil always wore simple clothing, usually of a dark colour to avoid inevitable stainings. His father was a mere carpenter, helping expand Laurelin in it's different districts. Currently, Farthil, his father, is contracted into create new housing in South Laurelin. His mother sold oddities, often to purchasers of the new housing his father had helped construct to aid them in their new lives.

Mairthil has always been different than most Elves. His hair is naturally a dark black color instead of blonde, although his forest-green cloak always covers his head. Along with that, his life-style has always been cramped inside Laurelin; Mairthil wants adventure. His entire life never expanded more than ten paces away from Laurelin; Mairthil knows not of what life is like outside the city. After his maturing years had ended, Mairthil slowly saved up his Minas from aiding his father in small projects. Now at 132 years old, he finally has saved enough money to be able to leave the Capital. Eager to find adventure, he wants to form a group to explore the Wilds and possibly start up a settlement far from the Elven Kingdom of Malinor.

Your characters ambitions:

To meet others who are willing to explore and expedition into the world; possibly creating a new settlement along the way.

Out in the Wilds, your character comes across a small cottage. Outside, there

appears to be an elf struggling combat with two bandits. What does your character do? At the notice of a fellow Elf, Mairthil would rush forward in a low stance, drawing back an arrow, and secure a position behind some local cover. Once he is securely behind cover, he would release one arrow towards the nearest bandit, impaling him between the ribs. Blood ejects from the would as arteries are punctures. The bandit glances down for a brief moment, his hands lightly gripping the shaft of the arrow before he succumbs to his death. Mairthil has no love for those who cannot handle their own lives they dip low into thievery. By now, the second bandit would be aware that something is awry, and turn. Releasing a second arrow, Mairthil would rush forth to finish off the last bandit with his sword out. After a long exhale, Mairthil looks the troubled elf in the eye, hoping to help the shocked fellow through his troubles. "Are you all right, brother?"

Your character walks up to a shop in the middle of Al'Khazar. "Hello, my good sir!" says the shop owner. "What may I help you with today?" How does your character answer?

Mairthil looks happily into the man's eye and then looks down onto the counter to browse the wares. "I am searching for an additional quiver of arrows, can you assist with my venture?"

"Well I do have one set of iron arrows left in the back, I'll give you a deal on them for 150 Milas. No one seems to have any interest in 'em."

Mairthil searches his pockets for a moment, the jingling of Minas repelling each other filling the air, and then Mairthil removes the coins. "Perfect, I'll take them and put them to good use!"

Other Information: I had been an active member of the Roleplaying website World of Tur for a year, which was all written roleplaying. I have been roleplaying for a good three years now, and hope to join the amazing Lord of the Craft community! I loved what I've seen so far with being a Wandering Soul, and I hope to form some awesome friendships and epic adventures!
