I was wondering if there was a certain word for guard of/protector of?

I want to get a special blade forged for my new character and I wanted a nice name for it. So...yea. Is there a certain word? If not, ya think we could brainstorm somethin' up?

Try going to Google Translate, choose a language, and combine and slightly modify a couple of words that discribe your sword in some way
