What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you.: Roleplaying is like acting, you play a character that you act as and live and work as he or she would. Such as a lowly farmer, to weak to hold a sword but strong enough to fire a bow, obviously you wouldn't use a sword. But roleplaying is more then that. Roleplaying is the freedom to make your own story and go through and live as your character would. Mean character? Be mean. Sadistic character? Torture your prisoners. Be the guy who you hate. You can change your whole perspective when roleplaying.

In your own Words, describe what Metagaming and Powergaming are. Metagaming is using OOC information in IC. Such as Player A hears on Teamspeak that Town B will raid his town. He starts getting ready and drives them off. Powergaming is making a all powerful character like a god.

What do you expect this server will be like?: A slighty hardcore roleplaying experience. Obviously its going to be fun though.

What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?: TheKingdomsMC, but I have not left it. But I find myself straying away from it.

Character Name: Darren Iandros

What is your Race?:Human

Biography(This should include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.): Darren was born into the family of a poor farmer. Darren grew up a kind-spirited young child longing to venture the world and unravel it's secrets. At the age of 8, the coming of the Undead ended in a apocalypse with creatures of legends coming to destroy the town he lived in. After the seige, the remaining families rebuilt their town and were safe for a year. Then the bandits came, the raided the town and pillaged all they could find. Darren's family was killed in a hail of bandit arrows and was captured. The bandits brought him back to their base to decide what to do with him.

10 years came and went. Darren was alive and well, serving on Gerred, the bandit leader. Gerred was a cruel and powerful man. But he was not below murdering innocent children. When Darren was presented to Gerred as a captive, Gerred took him in and raised him as his own son. Gerred taught Darren in the ways of the sword and bow, taught him about signals used by bandits, thieves and other criminals around the globe. As time passed and Darren grew older, he was brought on trips to the black market and Darren learned to steal from stalls and pickpocket the wealthy without their notice. This earned Darren the nickname "Fur", as he was able to steal exotic pelts and pieces of armor from vendors with ease.

At the age of 18, Darren was the sole survivor of a "cleansing" by a cult of demon god worshippers. Without a family or home, Darren wandered the world for 2 years until stowing away on a trade ship set for Aegis .When Darren got off the boat, he realized what oppourtunities the land held. Darren went to the nearest shop for a book and quill. Darren then realized what his legacy shall be.

Your characters ambitions: To explore the world and record his adventures for future generations.

 

Out in the Wilds, your character comes across a small cottage. Outside, there appears to be an elf struggling combat with two bandits. What does your character do? Darren looks around for anything that can be used as a weapon and joins the elf in the fight, driving off the bandits. Noticing the elf is wounded, shares some of his food with the elf and leaves after the elf has recovered.

 

Your character walks up to a shop in the middle of Al'Khazar. "Hello, my good sir!" says the shop owner. "What may I help you with today?" How does your character answer? "Ah yes, I am looking for some parchament and a quill to record my adventures on, do you have something of this sort?"

You will need a villain application for some parts of your biography. And explain in more depth on the scenarios of how your character would react.
