no longer active 734 Share Posted January 17, 2012 I came up with an idea to help is guards and fellow dwarves to distinguish between people from other races allowed into the city and those not. Thie idea is that we give all non dwarves a book with their info in it. It has to be signed ((written)) by one of the 3 head guards or a grand councilor or a High Lord. In it is the time they were admitted, who admitted them, race, and name. Also in it could be an expiration date if the writer only wants that person in our city fer a breif period of time. everblue2er101 906 Share Posted January 17, 2012 Renatus is also considering this idea. It could certainly help keep out troublemakers.
Tarion 2 Share Posted January 17, 2012 I was considering this. I've already implemented a system of knowing who enters/exits tne city when and where.

Grabthar 185 Share Posted January 17, 2012 ((i like the passport idea, then villains could acquire the book after killing someone and disguise themselves like that person, could make for good RP raids and what not, especially if they run into the real person later on. Oh the shenanighans.))

Luchian 214 Share Posted January 17, 2012 [[ To be honest we were thinking of this a long time ago, Under the construction. But as I told you last time you asked Leland, It would not be reliable people would copy it and spread it everywhere and inn the end everybody would get inn thereby defeating the purpose of having a passport. But dont worry, The system we have now is good. No non-Dwarf past this point. So unless you're a very short human, Or a bit taller halfling people should keep out.]]

Juvens 199 Share Posted January 17, 2012 ((We got big walls...why don't we simply make a wall of persons who received/bought a entry ticket to our city? Every entry ticket can last max. 1 real life week so we write for example: RP NAME(1 line) MC NAME(1 line) Reason why he is here (diplomat/trading/whatever) Expiring date IRL (GMT for example) I think this should be more then possible to do. ~Juvens))
