I do believe that i am good at english. I am one of the best in my class and i get top grades all the time. But as english isn't my original language (danish is) i might make a few mistakes from time to time.

Small 2-3 Sentence Description of yourself:

I am an intellectual guy, that likes computergames and i spend much of my time on them. i am a good reader too. (i have read fall of giants)

How much time could you be on the server weekly?:

roughly ten hours. sometimes more or less as my weekly schedual is varying.

What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you.:

roleplaying to me is, to leave the boring everyday and be whatever you want to be. but roleplaying is also about cooperating to create another reality. sometimes you have to step down and not be the king, but instead the humble peasant. i have quarrels with this, but i feel that it is necessary for me to actually do a difference.

In your own Words, describe what Metagaming and Powergaming are. Metagaming is to use knowlegde or powers that doesn't fit your RP character, as a way of obtaining goals easier perhaps. powergaming is when you skip the storyline and RP and go directly to the action. this ruins all plots, and renders some people work for a good storyline useless.

What do you expect this server will be like?:

i expect it to be a busy server where (almost) everyone are dedicated to create a better experience.

What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?: i have played on the webciv.net server together with bigalow40 who is now playing on this server with the character name Shamera. i do not intend to leave it completely and i will continually play on it. it is a great server with a homemade functioning claiming system.

the reason i am partly leaving it is because it is slowly dying. the experienced players that played on are being replaced by griefing x-raying pvp-abusing noobs.

i heard about on another minecraft server forum when someone showed the application they had tried to use here. it was a joke application for a charachter named Thunk. this link contains a quote of the application

Biography(This should include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.):

being the first born son of a lesser noble, juko's future should have been easily predictable. but he would always do stuff unfitting for his coming title. every week he'd be found at the local tavern having some ale with the citizens. and he would always get drunk. but not the kind of drunk that made him get into fights and such, thee he was a spiritful fellow. he would often be found singing and dancing and perhaps even trying to charm a lady,which wouldn't end well since he was drunk.

one day when his father called upon him, he was a bit surprised as his father didn't consult with him about anything, because he was a drunk. juko's father, the noble, told him that he had inherited the title and the land to juko's younger brother. at first juko was furious about how his father could strip him off his rights without any warning, but later he understood. he decided to leave his father's land and seek fortune. before he left, he received an old family jewelry, a necklace. it had passed down through generations from the first Juko. with a tear in his eye, Juko turned his back on his family and left.

3 years after he had left, he heard a rumor telling that a rival noble had taken over his family's land through politics and deceit. Juko was at the moment sitting in prison for not being able to pay for some ale, and could therefore not do anything about it. he went as a traveller willing to do most things for some change. he is good at communicating with the regular people and still enjoys some ale once in a while.

Your characters ambitions:

he waits for the oppurtunity to one day raise his family name from oblivion to glory. until then he is trying to find the best ale of aegis. (quite a task)

Out in the Wilds, your character comes across a small cottage. Outside, there appears to be an elf struggling combat with two bandits. What does your character do?

I approach the bandits (OOC how do i know they are bandits?) "hey there, what are you doing. you want to have some ale with me" they look confused back at me and then at eachother. they have stopped fighting with the elf. "i asked, you want to have some ale with me?" the bandits whisper to eachother "that drunk guy is much easier to rob than the elf, lets get him" they approach me with their swords held against me. "oh, you want to fight" I drink a sip of my ale bottle and draw my sword. "ahh, thats better" i swing my sword in the air against the bandits. not elegantly but with signs of power. one of them goes in for the hit, but i take a step to the left (poor balance being drunk) and avoid him. i point my sword at him while he is lying on the ground. "haha, not so great for you now" i say to him. "please sir, spare my life. i have wife and kids" he pleads. "ok, but only if you buy me some ale". the bandits and i then go to find some ale. the sun is setting in the far west.

Your character walks up to a shop in a quiet market. "Hello, my good sir!" says the shop owner. "What may I help you with today?" How does your character answer?

"yes my good sir, i would like to know where the nearest tavern is. my throat is about to go dry". "but we dont a have such a place here, my sir" the shopkeeper answers. "WHAT!?!?!? HOW CAN YOU NOT HAVE A TAVERN" i shout in rage. "please calm dawn sir." we dont have a tavern here because a ale-hating gang has taken over the city government and they have banned all alcoholic drinks". "those bastards. they should be hanged. where can i find them?" "they reside in the big mansion at the end of the street. i go out to the street and start whispering to people "if you wish to end this aleprohibition, come to the fountain tonight at midnight"

at midnight a large mob of people arrives armed with pitchforks and various other tools. after a rallying speech we storm the mansion and catch the ale-hating usurpers while sleeping. the original man in power is once again in control of the city, and his first act is to allow alcohol again.

Your definition of Power-Gaming is wrong. Look for the RP definition, not the RPG one.

How you handle the bandit question is odd. When you're pointing your sword to the man on the ground, what is the other bandit doing...? Wouldn't he kill you at that moment?
