What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you.:

Roleplaying is the act of playing as if one is really in the environment the game simulation puts them in. This means acting as if the game is reality and behaving using only knowledge your player has learnt within the game.

In your own Words, describe what Metagaming and Powergaming are.

Metagaming: I know two definitions of this term, the first is in roleplay where a player uses information gained from out of character or other sources against the rules to gain information. The second when it is used in sports or E-Sports where one will know an opponents strategy, and know the correct response, but will use a strategy to counter the response the other player might do to gain a competitive edge (Sorry if the second definition is unclear, I don't know how to explain it properly as I use it only in Starcraft 2).

Powergaming: When in RP one character declares an action as successful without giving another player the chance to act.

What do you expect this server will be like?:

It will be a new experience for me involving RP, unlike I have played before in minecraft.

What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?:

Kingscraft Server: Quit because admin was inefficient.

Super-Earth: I want to see LOTC as I want to have a different experience

Elf (Specifically High-Elf)

Biography(This should include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.):

I was born and raised in a small vilage north of Laurelin in a rich family consisting of my mother, father and my two sisters (My parents were mroe prolific than most elf couples) My father was a great fighter who possessed a great sword called Elasior which burnt through their enemies. Despite our money we lived in a small oak tree which my father had lived in since he was a small boy. When I finished elf school I decided I would become an elvish weapon smith as I had always revered my fathers sword. After 7 years of learning the art, when I was 25 my well off and up until that point uneventful life came to a dramatic end. My home town was attacked by a band of Orcs who had lost their way in the forest and slaughtered the entire village just for the supplies it contained so they could continue their journey. I fought with my family but we saw the fight was futile and decided to attempt to outrun the orcs. However, as is life our escape was imperfect and my father was hit by an arrow from an orc's crossbow. I kept running without him and saw the rest of my family, my mother and sisters picked off by other orcs around me. I ran until my legs couldn't carry me anyfurther and survived off buries and small animals I could hunt and kill for many months all the while traveling to try and find a new home for myself. Eventually I came across the great city of Laurelin, the capitol my father and I had visited together once. It is now that I will continue my art of crafting within the great capitol hoping one day to embark on a journey to hunt and kill that despicable orcish troop.

Age: 27 (Yes, young)

Appearance: Fair and of high elf complexion... Has platinum coloured hair and blue eyes.

Personality: Arrogant as high elves are but sometimes compassionate. Single minded about his goals. Has a particular distaste for orcs.

Your characters ambitions:

I will attempt to restart my life in Laurelin, open up a crafting business and hopefully reach a position of leadership one day.

Out in the Wilds, your character comes across a small cottage. Outside, there appears to be an elf struggling combat with two bandits. What does your character do?

I would pause and look upon the elf and remember the ordeal which the orcish attack put me through. I would announce as loudly as I could while not revealing myself: "Leave that elf in peace now, or fear my bow." If they did not leave and laughed off my threat I would pull out two arrows and attempt to shoot each of the bandits square on the chest. If I missed I would continue firing until myself or the bandits are dead. After, if I survived I would reveal myself and allow the elf to thank me in whichever way he/she felt best and continue about my day.

Your character walks up to a shop in the middle of Al'Khazar. "Hello, my good sir!" says the shop owner. "What may I help you with today?" How does your character answer?

I would look upon the shopkeep and say: " I would like to buy your finest diamonds to craft a suit of armor" after much negotiation trying to get the best price I could I would either purchase the diamonds or, if the price was unfavorable I would go to the next shopkeeper, knowing either he would make a last minute attempt to sell the diamonds OR that I would find a better deal elsewhere.

You used my feedback very well, although there were a few things you could improve on I believe you have shown sufficient knowledge of the rules and roleplaying to be admitted into the server.
