Roleplay is when one assumes the role of a fictional character, to think and to act as one with the character, interacting with others in an imaginative experience.

In your own Words, describe what Metagaming and Powergaming are.

Metagaming is when you use information received out of roleplay. Like when you meet a random stranger during roleplay and you call out their name without even asking. Power gaming is when you do the impossible to benefit yourself in a roleplay situation. To give yourself the advantage over another like lets say Player 1 is the power gamer and Player 2 is the victim. Player 1 takes a rope out of no where and ties up player 2 saying he cannot escape or the rope is unbreakable.

What do you expect this server will be like?:

I expect this server to be as good as everyone mentions it to be.

Empire craft, this closed down because the owner ran out of funds.

Biography(This should include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.):

Vodi was born and raised during Aegis and evacuated to the outer reaches of Asulon, life was tough where Vodi and his family lived especially during and after the mass evacuation of the Exodus. The idea of leaving and finding better opportunities for his family and the love for experiencing new things, when he was little stories were told about the beautiful Cloud Temple and many nations across the land by the elders. Each told of these places just made Vodi more and more anxious to see them. Only at the age of 23 was his parents able to except Vodi as a grown man and able to take responsibilitys for himself and whatever he wishes to do. Vodi was well confident enough to fullfil his dreams of seeing the places in the stories. Being raised to do everything to help out his family has made him quite the man to do anything himself easily. Handsome, tall with blueish eyes had him be quite the ladies man as he was a figure of a handsome brute, although unexpected underneath all that, Vodi was really sweet and respectful to his family and his elders. The day he was to leave was at early morning. Vodi was well prepared and was ready to set out. His mother cryed and begged him to stay even though she had well agreed to let him go in the beginning. The whole town shared their farewells as he walked down the road waving back with the sun rising in the background. Even though the trek would be long and time weary he hopes to bring his parents with him on the second trip when he has found a place to settle. Vodi traveled for months through the changing seasons. "As time passed the scenery changed the sight of my home was long gone, every step I took was for my family. Theres no stopping me from finding this so called hope." The only map guiding him through was his will and his dreams as well as the tales of the many places around especially the Cloud Temple.

Your characters ambitions:

Vodi wants to find better opportunity within Asulon and be able to bring his family over as soon as possible.

Out in the Wilds, your character comes across a small cottage. Outside, there appears to be an elf struggling combat with two bandits. What does your character do?

Vodi: What are you two doing to that man!

Bandit 1: I dont like elves and I want him dead. You got a problem with that?

Elf: Stranger please help me!

Vodi: I can't stand by and excuse you for a reason like that!

Bandit 2: You better not mess in our bussiness or you'll get hurt.

Vodi is outraged by the bandits reasonings and charges in full force. The bandits dont take his interference lightly and counter with daggers. Although out numbered and outmatched Vodi's bigger size and his reckless fighting manages to turn the tables. Flailing his arms like an inexperienced fighter forces the bandits back only to recieves slight cuts. The elf managed to escape from the distraction of Vodi. The elf managed to bring back help, before Vodi was able to recklessly charge again two arrows come flying whistling out of the trees ending the lives of the two bandits and leaving Vodi confused on the spot. Both the elf and Vodi greet and thank each other.

Your character walks up to a shop in a quiet market. "Hello, my good sir!" says the shop owner. "What may I help you with today?" How does your character answer?

Vodi: Hello to you! Im looking for directions to Cloud Temple. Do you know the way?

Shop Owner: I do know the way but would you interest in a map? I can show you the route.

Vodi: How much does the map cost?

Shop Owner: 4 Minas.

Vodi: Im not too sure about prices but if it can get me to my destination it'll have to do.

Shop Owner: Here you go. ((explains the route to Vodi))

Vodi: Thanks, good bussiness to you.

Where can I get help to fix these errors?

It really depends on what you need – you are not allowed to have anyone else write part of your application for you. As the Application Team we're here to not only accept and deny your applications, but it's our job to give you help for fixing them. We'll help you as much as we can, but we will never write a bit of your application, no matter how much you ask!

The best way to get help, is to contact the Application Team member who denied you, (in this case, myself; Danny). You can contact me either here on the forums, via a PM – or you can also find me on TeamSpeak most of the time, either in the “Application Team” channel or in one of the private channels. Feel free to poke me, or send me a message for any help, and I'll try my best to help you!

I'd also suggest that you do some reading up, depending on why you were denied, as there's some good help out there, already written for anyone who needs it!

The WikiYou provides almost every scratch of lore that we have, there's people dedicated to expanding on it, and making it as detailed as possible. It's possibly the best place to find lore on the website, although you can also find quite a bit in this forum section.

You should also read the various posts that have been made by GM's and Application Team members to help with your applications, and believe me, there are many. The most useful is the “Application Team's Advice” thread. Which can be found

Can I re-apply?

Of course you can! Often people post as many as 3 applications before they're accepted! Just make sure, that you wait until after 48 hours before you re-apply or your application will be denied. We have the 48 hour wait system to keep the Application Submissions forum tidy, and to ensure that the application team aren't overwhelmed by applicants posting a new application every five minutes.
