A letter with the seal of Malinor arrives by courier, addressed to The Heial'thilln of Haelun'or.

Dearest Council,

The time for Haelun'or and Malinor to speak of matters of diplomacy has been long over due. Therefor I have petitioned our council to allow me the privilege of speaking on Malinor's behalf, and have been granted such an opportunity. It is my intention to engage of talks of peace and mutual prosperity between our two nations.

It is unfortunate that many on both sides cannot see eye to eye or can conduct themselves in a civil manner. I would like to change that. I would also like to ensure that despite some of our more outspoken citizens, that Haelun'or does in fact have friends among our council.

Therefor I request an audience with your council at your convenience. Some of you may remember me as your Princess in Laurelin during the days of Aegis. It will be my fortune to meet some of you again.

Please send word back to when this meeting can occur as well as the location. May Malin bless Haelun'or and the Mali'aheral.

Upon accepting and reading the message the Maheral prepares a response, using the same courier to deliver the return letter addressed to Princess Sythra.

Your letter has been well received, and in perusing its contents I am pleased to inform you that we are of a similar disposition regarding several of the matters which it seeks to address. It is indeed unfortunate that select members of both communities have comported themselves in less than satisfactory manners, although it would be unwise to ever consider that the actions of individuals represent the whole of a peoples.

Personally I shall aim to ensure there will always be sympathetic ears to listen to words of reason in Haelon'or, which are - as it has too oft been - in short supply. Much misunderstanding abounds, and I shall agree that together we may bring about changes that will offer benefit to not only the followers of the Maehr'sae Hiylun'ehya ideal, but also all of Malin's Children.

It is heartening to read that we are recognised in our independence, but I would find it more so a delight should our coming discourse bear ripe fruits for the future, which I would see our kin share together in prosperity. Should you find it acceptable, I propose to hold our meet within Haelun'or College.

In light of the fact that the attention of the Heial'thilln is divided, with many errands keeping it apart I will suggest two meetings take place, the first of which will be held between us both privately at the earlist opportunity, whilst the other in seven fortdays time - barring any complications - which I will inform the Heial'thilln of.
