Small 2-3 Sentence Description of yourself: I love Minecraft, and I am looking for a good server for my Let's Plays on YouTube, plus I like to role-play. I also play World of Warcraft and I role-play somewhat on that, I understand the basics.

How much time could you be on the server weekly?: About 20, at least 10.

What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you.: Role-playing means taking upon a role and acting it out. I know that role-playing is fun and enjoyable.

In your own Words, describe what Metagaming and Powergaming are.: Metagaming- Is using out of character resources incharacter. Kind of like lying or cheating. Powergaming- Giving the other player no chance to react to your emotes or actions.

What do you expect this server will be like?: I've watched my friend play on it. It seems pretty nice and fun.

What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?: I played on SkyFire, I left because everything was unfair and everyone had diamond armor and cheated.

Have you read, understood, and agreed to the rules?: Yes I read, understand, and agree with the rules.

How did you hear about us?: My best friend.

Character Name: Al'Groth

What is your Race?: Elf

Biography (This should include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.):

Al'Groth was born into a horrible war between his father and his mother. They fought everyday of his elvish childhood. He was sadsdned he just wanted to be noticed. He left his home, and set off on a quest to find himself. He needed to know why he was born. He found a lonley priest lying the dirty road.

He helped the priest on to his feet. Then guided him back to his chapel. The priest held up one hand and with the other touched Al'Groth's heart, a beam of light shot from the chapels windows and land in the priests raised hand then the light flowed through the priest's body into Al'Groth's heart. Blessing the elf for his kindness. He then spoke out "Let there be a holy light from God to follow this elf. You will have great fortune in the near future, kind one." From there on he sought the purpose of his life.

Your characters ambitions: Al'Groth wants to become a rich and famous elf, maybe a prince or a general.

Out in the Wilds, your character comes across a small cottage. Outside, there appears to be an elf struggling combat with two bandits. What does your character do?

Al'Groth yells, "Are you okay?"

*Al'Groth seeing the man not able to answer he jumps into action, wielding his trusty bow.*

Bandit #1 peers over at Al'Groth, "Now, now, ye don't want teh start somethin' do ya?"

*Al'Groth pulls back an arrow, aiming at the bandits.*

Al'Groth grins and says, "Leave the poor elf alone, or I'll 'ave te handle ye myself."

*Bandit #2 charges at Al'Groth*

Al'Groth sighs frustrated, and shouts, "I warned you."

*Al'Groth releases the arrow, the arrow strikes the side of the bandits helmet and he scatters in fear.*

Bandit #1 frowns slightly, and yells angerly, "Ye coward! I'll 'ave fun ripping ye into pieces."

*Al'Groth reloads his bow, pulling farther back. He squints one eye and aims carefully.*

*Bandit #1 unsheaths his sword and charges after Al'Groth, shouting "Die ye pathetic elf!"

*Al'Groth releases his arrow, firing into the bandits breast.*

*Bandit #1 slows down and looks down at his chest, realizing that he is defeated. He then cowers away.*

*The elf then thanks the hero for his honorable act.*

Your character walks up to a shop in the middle of Al'Khazar. "Hello, my good sir!" says the shop owner. "What may I help you with today?" How does your character answer?:

Al'Groth inspects the shop, "Do ye 'ave any arrows fer sale?"

*The shopkeeper inspects the storage and frowns, "Nay, I do not. Perhaps ye should check te shop down te road."

*Al'Groth frowns and leaves some Minas for the information and exits the shop in search for some arrows.*

Your definition for metagaming needs improvement.

Luckily for you there are plenty of ways to learn the correct definition. First of all you can look on the lord of the craft wiki and then search for "Metagaming", you can join our Team Speak channel (You can get Team Speak from http://teamspeak.com/?page=downloads ), or you can do a google search.

I would also like to see an example for metagaming and powergaming.

Your biography needs improvement.

Your biography is too short and needs some expansion. Please include the entire question when writing your biography such as your characters history, personality, description and age. With the description don’t just write He is tall and old and carries around a bow. There are a lot of tall, old people who carry around bows. Get descriptive; what is your hair colour? How long? Eye colour? Big eyes? Small eyes? Do you have wrinkles? How tall are you? Are you muscled or slim but agile?

You also need to add your characters strengths and weaknesses as well as reasons for such. For example, if your character is good at swordsmanship, bows or even farming you need to explain in your biography why your character is so good in what it does and how it developed these skills.

We would like you to include some lore from the world of Aegis and/or Asulon such as names of towns and people, or even events which have happened before and your characters connection to the event. The types of lore you can include can people places such as towns and kingdoms, or even people or events (such as the exodus from Aegis to Asulon which affected almost everyone).

Please embed your screenshot into your application. While this may take an extra few minutes, what is a few minutes to the countless hours you could potentially spend on this server! It is so easy too. Here is how it is done...

1.Go to the link you have provided (you have given an ample screenshot, so we shall skip the "Getting the image" and "Uploading it" phases) and right click on the image, select "Copy Image Location"

2.Go to your new application and select "Insert Image". It should have the icon of a little tree in a photoframe, and will be next to the "Inset Link" button, and underneath the "Text Color" button.

3.Paste into the textbox (as you have copied the image's location).

4.Select "Insert Image" and voilà! You are done.
