I'm 23, I'm a candidate for a Master's Degree in English at Delta State University. I play Minecraft when I'm not buried in books.

How much time could you be on the server weekly?:

10 Hours or less. Depending on how much I can play during the week.

What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you.:

I've roleplayed D&D characters, Vampire characters, etc. Roleplaying is a fun way to escape reality. Furthermore, in a game like Minecraft it really helps weed out a lot of troll players who just get on servers to grief. I like roleplaying, and I love Minecraft, and together it is a great combination

In your own Words, describe what Metagaming and Powergaming are.

Metagaming is using information that is out of your characters immediate realm of knowledge. You may know the information (you the gamer) but your character doesn't (your minecraft character). Powergaming is when you roleplay with things that you don't actually posses, for example0: I'm playing D&D and I kill someone and simply say "I kill the Orc" well what did you kill it with? How? and where did you acquire that which you killed him with.

What do you expect this server will be like?:

I expect it to be exciting and less stressful than other servers where people just TNT everything you build

What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?:

LegendaryCraft: too much grief, a lot of people just TNT'd everything outside the spawn area.

Singaming: I still play some

ObsidianCraft: I tried it out but never got into it

A passerby reaches out to say hello to Aelam, Aelam grumbles "Hi" and continues walking.

Biography(This should include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.):

Aelam's birthplace is unknown. He was raised by an Orc medicine woman until he was 15 after which he left to travel the road alone as an adventurer. Once on his own he traveled the forests and cities seeking out his origins in a quest for self-discovery only to be dismayed by what he found. His parents were killed by Orcs while traveling on the road and the medicine woman took him instead of allowing the warriors to kill him. Aelam, now in his mid twenties in out for blood to seek justice for the death of his parents.

Your characters ambitions:

Aelam is a lone wolf seeking vengeance for the death of his parents. He despises orcs, and will help anyone in the fight for justice.

Out in the Wilds, your character comes across a small cottage. Outside, there appears to be an elf struggling combat with two bandits. What does your character do?

He slays the bandits with whatever weapons he has at his disposal. If he has no weapons, Aelam is adept and hand to hand combat and will use his wit and nimble feet to take down the sluggish bandits.

Your character walks up to a shop in a quiet market. "Hello, my good sir!" says the shop owner. "What may I help you with today?" How does your character answer?

"I'm looking for information regarding my parents, Galadriel and Aeathel Forrestrider."

Shop owner: I'm not sure I recognize them sir?

"Well, have you got any mushroom soup?"
