((@Arbrek

Can't we have both ?

Worship your ancestors at home and worship your gods in public.

Like the romans did with the penates (their household deities)

I like this very much, it's like a dwarven version of the greek/roman gods with a custom afterlife. ))

((True enough. So, let me bring up this point. Ever heard of a little fellow named Urguan? Part of my problem with this is that Arbrek is the oldest living Dwarf, and as it stands, knew Urguan and his Children as his Grandpa and Uncles.))

((Actually even more a point why Arbrek personally wouldn't worship Urguan, but of course i think we should have a shrine for Urguan.))

((The mention of "Roman" got me thinking. I believe we could link the two very easily. The paragons are the basic demi-gods from Roman religions (although we do not need them to actually be half god). Thus we could RP that when Urguan died he was not even auctioned off on the moon -> He became a lesser god or, since he is literally the first dwarf, became the eight god of the dwarven faith.))

( Forest Dwarves could have their own first Forest Dwarf just like Urguan. )

((What about clan ancestors ?

Like the goldhands are descendants from Tungdil Goldhand who was a son of urguan.

I don't know if this is asked too much, but could we have a shrine for Tungdil too ?/ Be him part of the faith too ?

edit: *ignore the whole post, its not important now...*))

((Liar!!! There are more "old" dwarves Hiebe is 1500 and i am close to that.

I like the Gods idea and i think it would fith in with the paragons in my opinion))

((The first Forest Dwarf is obviously Larkor Treebeard, of whom Saviticus is a Direct decendent on his mothers side :3 ))

((arent forest dwarves decendent from a half elf half dwarf? or something like that?

i also believe that you are making this up because i didnt see any lore for a ancestor, and i dont believe other forest dwarves agree with you....))

((By other Forest Dwarves, do you mean him? On a side note, I think we should have small shrines to the Ancestor's of all the Clans. Lastly, I am most certainly the oldest Dwarf, Longbeard.))

((Arbek is as he just used /setage and made him the oldest dry.gif

((And did a major re-do on my personal lore, and my Clan's. Try not to make sound like that much of an ass, Mili.))

((Indeed, I apologize. Back on topic, with a little polish and some bits and bobs added on, I think this will work out wonderfully.))
