Small 2-3 Sentence Description of yourself: well, I really like roleplaying, any kind of rp on anything I will usually give a go. Personally i'm quite random, odd and have no life, Well I do but you get what I mean I think.I play various games on various consoles and tend to drift towards roleplaying servers if they exist.

How much time could you be on the server weekly?: well it varies on if I find interaction which is probably likely so a few hours daily probably

What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you:Roleplaying is where you use your imagination and creativity to shape a person (more often than not it's a person) that has unique characteristics you define and form a story with them and often others. they can be anything from a crippled beggar to a galiant knight with an enchanted sword, the limits are your imagination and the rules set by the higher authority.

What experience have you had in Roleplaying, if any?:

several years on Gaia online, multiple MMOs (WoW mostly), various forums and roleplaying games

In your own Words, define what the act of Meta-Gaming is:

Metagaming is where you use OOC knowledge IC, Say 'dave' has gone adventuring but fell off a outcropping in a cave and twisted his ankle, now 'dave' didn't tell anyone he was going adventuring and so nobody knows where he is until 'mary' comes running in out of nowhere and goes "oh hey are you guys looking for dave? he went adventuring but he fell and injured himself so he can't move, the cave is over there" and she points in the exact location of the cave 'dave' is in.

In your own Words, define what the act of Power-Gaming is:

Powergaming is when someone tries to pump up thier character to be the best and min/maxing abilites and attributes to show this, in D&D for example a power-gamer utilizing a warrior would buff up any skills related to combat while ignoring all others. In roleplays it can also be where a person declares an action against something or someone else and then immediatly decalres it a success without giving a chance for it to be reacted to. Example 'Dave' swings a fist at 'Fred' and punches him so hard his head flys clean off and sails away into the distance

dave attacked fred and then declared his attack a success without giving fred time to react and defend/avoid it.

What do you expect this server will be like?:

A True Roleplaying server, where people interact and socialize in a community facing the hardships of life together, not some random server where you build a house then derp around 'pretending' to roleplay.

Hi there! i'm Dark, it's a funny name I know but I can explain it if you'd let me

Last time I checked I was human...

Pretty sure I'm all human, I don't know maybe one of my grandparents grandparent was an elf or something I don't think so though

Biography (Please make this at least 2 paragraphs long. This must include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.):

Right well what would you like to know first? The name I'm assuming? it's alright everyone always asks about that first, You see my name isnt offically Dark nooo, that would be silly it's a nickname because I love the night time, the quiet serenity of the midnight hour, gazing up at the stars in the sky and seeing what shapes you can form with them and, at one point I may have been found reading a book in a graveyard.

I know I know, not the best of places to be when reading or at all but I like it and I always keep the upmost respect for those laid to rest. So at first it was just my family that called me dark then it spred to my neighbours and pretty soon the whole village was using the nickname Dark so it kind of stuck, I may have actually forgotten my real name which some people have said is a bad thing, but a name is a name right?

Anyway thats how I got the name, As for the rest well, I'm female as you have no doubt found out by now, I'm currently 20 years old, I left my home town at 15 because while it was comfortable and everyone knew each other, it was a little small and there wasn't much to do, Well being a budding architect there was plenty to do workwise but...ehhh what can I say? I like recreational activities more than work, but then doesn't everyone? unless your job is recreational, that would be cool, I came here thinking I could stand on my own two feet, build some things by myself or with other architects, maybe make some friends.

Let's see, what else...Oh! well about myself aside from the name I'm fairly normal, I'm about average height for my age, a little pudgy but i'm still well within the limits of being healthy, I'm a bit of a redhead, well...not a bit more like I am, I like to keep it short, theres few things worse than being blinded by your own hair 5 stories in the air, balancing on a thin ledge while you try to install a balcony aside from y'know...the balcony falling underneath you which I swear only happened once and that was because it was shoddy wood, totally not my fault.

Oh and my parents told me when I was...twelve I think that something I never fully understood happened with my genetics and that I have red eyes, not like blood red or anything sinister looking like that but still technically red.

Oh hah I'm sorry you probably only wanted to know about the name and I ended up telling you my whole life story I must've got carried away

What is your Character's ambitions?:

To be honest, I just want to be able to be recognized, I want someone to look at something I have built with my own two hands and go Dark built that, and it's brilliant

What is your character’s favorite tool? (sword, pickaxe, shovel, etc):

Well, a Sturdy foundation is the Essential quality of a good building, So a nice firm shovel is always a must for me.

What is one of your Character's most skilled talents?

Architectual construction, Planning and if the needs be, destruction, If the situation calls for it I can find my own resources with a shovel & pick but i'm not dwarf so I prefer to stay above ground.

Whilst traveling from the Cloud Temple you see a small halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond?

"Well That's not very nice, I should probably let someone know" she would think to herself abd head to the nearest guard to inform them

Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response?

"ohhh....shiny things, I guess I can take a look though your stuff, see what you've got." she browsed through the things, her eyes more often than not drawn to the diamonds and gold

Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?:

"well, this place does look fairly run down,it's definatly been abandoned from general care, thats not to say someone isn't using it for other purposes, it could be a smuggler's den or a hidden stash" She presses a hand against the wall above the chest and pushes slightly "it looks like it could collapse at any moment, there's a lot of rot in this wall and the floor doesn't look all too good either" she shuts the chest carefully "I think i'll leave this here for all I know this could be the only weight keeping that wall from falling on my head." and with that she walks off away from the unsafe building

Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you you in the common tongue, how do you respond?

"Oh Thank you god" she would says mostly to herself then look towards the merchants "Hey...look, I don't know where I am or how I managed to get here from some old shack that is about to fall apart but i'm kind of lost, shattered and I am so bloody hungry I would eat my own shoes if they provided sustainance" she yawned and was cut off mid yawn but her stomach growling "sorry...but umm... If you wouldn't mind could I please have something to eat and maybe a rest?" she asked politely "maybe some directions in the morning? it would be greatly apprieciated"

You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?:

"me? fight? I'm sorry, I don't know the first thing about fighting, I know that the pointy end goes in the thing your trying to kill but aside from that I'd just get in the way..." she would apologize "I can give you some stones?, stones hurt when you throw them..."

I have to say its the least formal app I've read and it is ever so funny to read. I haven't seen anyone do their bio in your way. *whispering* They all do it in third person...

You seem ready and already immersed into your character which is perfect and I think you will do a good addition to the server.

Your skin is also okay, but the lack of longish hair causes me to see it more like a boy [i like the simplist style though]. If you want a simplist girl architect skin I can make one for you eventually. But its great you made your own!
