Small 2-3 Sentence Description of yourself: I'm currently a student a private college. I'm studying engineering and economics and am about to graduate soon.

How much time could you be on the server weekly?: About an hour or two a day.

What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you: Roleplaying is putting away your own knowledge and experiences and choosing to live a new life. Living a life whose actions and decisions are reasonable of that character but may not be agreeable with yourself.

What experience have you had in Roleplaying, if any?: I've roleplayed on a few other games including GTA.

In your own Words, define what the act of Meta-Gaming is: Metagaming is using outside information, obtained without roleplay and mostlikely out of character, in chracter. Using knowledge obtained by out of character means to affect decisions made in character is an example.

In your own Words, define what the act of Power-Gaming is: Powergaming is using unrealistic or unfair abilities to gain an unfair advantage over others to benefit ones character. Similarly it includes doing things that would be impossible to do or extremely unlikely. It is considered nonrp and agaisnt the rules. Examples of it would be breaking shackles with your own strength. Having magical powers without properly achieving them in game.

What do you expect this server will be like?: I feel this server will further my enjoyment of roleplay and lead to some interesting and fun experiences.

What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?: This will be my first real roleplay minecraft server.

Character Name: Aaron_Goldweaver

Biography (Please make this at least 2 paragraphs long. This must include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.):Aaron is currently 40 years old. He is very calm and likes to think he has acquired a great deal of knowledge. He loves to spend time reading books and studying. He has never once used a weapon or has fought. He is an able farmer when he puts his mind to it but he can be easily distracted.

He isn't very tall at all and is considered to be a bit short. He has a small hunch from working in the warms. His skin is dark from the sun and his beard is long. He is a bit messy and doesn't take good care of his appearance. His face is worn with wrinkles and he is easily winded. He has become a bit overweight from lack of work.

Aaron grew up in a small farming communitty with his brother Richard. Although Richard quickly married and had James his halfling son, Aaron never married. He lived happly in Aegis, mostly by himself or with a small group of friends. Soon James went off with his group of friends and founded Greenshire. Over the years Aaron grew older and with the war growing near was undecided it he would attempt to flee Aegis. Richard had come to the sad conclusion that his son was dead and was able to talk Aaron into coming with him to this new land.

After arriving in Asulon, he was hesitant about going of on adventures with Richard. He decided to stay at the Cloud Temple for a while. He wondered around directionless, reading books and speaking with the local monks. Recently he received word from Richard about the completion of the town and has decided to go on his first adventure to Greenshire.

What is your Character's ambitions?:

Aaron wishes to live in a peaceful town like Greenshire. He has no desire for war or love. He is not active politically but would serve well in a quasi leadership position.

What is your character’s favorite tool? (sword, pickaxe, shovel, etc):Aaron does not enjoy work and thus despises tools. He would much rather enjoy a good book. So perhaps you might say his favorite tool is his brain and his wits.

What is one of your Character's most skilled talents? Aarons greatest skill is in the debate of ideals, logic and deductive reasoning.

Whilst traveling from the Cloud Temple you see a small halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond? Aaron watches with a bit of sadness. He knows that getting himself involved would only cause more harm. He continues to watch from a distance hoping not be seen. If the armed warriors eventually leave he would then offer assistance to halfling. If it lasted for too long he would continue on his way. Feeling bad for the halfing but knowing that he did the right thing to save himself.

Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response?Afteroon sir. I'm looking for some new books. I visited the other day and the man behind the counter told me to come back today. I've read many books and do not wish to reread any of them. Do you have any great historical works? Perhaps I have missed one in my studies.

Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?:Aaron walks into the small hut slowly in order to avoid any traps. He looks around slowly and opens the chest. He notices all the potential loot but thinks better of it. Aaron closes the chest looking around to make sure no one noticed him. Aaron occasionally goes back to check on the chest but each time careful not to take anything. He understands stealing is wrong but the chest and house look abandoned. Aaron decides to leave the house knowing that he would be rewarded later on for his good deed.

Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you you in the common tongue, how do you respond?Aaron walks into the camp very tired. He slowly speaks to a man who had just walked up to him and being very respectful asks for some food. Aaron explains the circumstances that brought him to this camp without and food. Although he has little money on him, Aaron offers his services in return for a little bit of food and a bed to sleep on. In the morning he quietly goes out of his bed and tends to the farm for an hour. He takes the wheat that he was able to harvest and spends the afternoon turning it into bread. He thanks his hosts by handing the bread to them and smiles as he continues on his way.

You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?: Aaron, having never used a sword felt a bit out of place. He knows that there is little he can do to help defend the town. While other individuals volunteer their services as a warrior or citizens who give up some armor for the soldiers. Aaron has none of this. He waits for a while feeling more embarrassed as each individual in the town donates a belonging or their body to the cause. Feeling the same of not cooperating he steps forward and offers to give up what little money he has in his pocket to the cause. He smiles a bit slowly receding into the shadows.
