Before I do the Application I must state that I originally joined Lord of the craft long ago but I had to leave because of school and other things, And now I wish to start up a new Character.

Do you have a good grip on the English language/good grammar?: Yes, I believe I do have a good grip on the English language and Good Grammar.

Small 2-3 Sentence Description of yourself: I'm a fun-gi and I want to re-join this Role play server as when I did play It, it was a lot of fun and I had a great time! Upon having to leave I was very sad but now I'm back to re-join! I'm definitely serious now, But I may as well alert you that I have ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder)

How much time could you be on the server weekly?: I can try to get on the server for a couple of hours every day, but because I now have restrictions. I can only have an hour long period before having to take an half an hour break. (Which sucks)

What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you:Role-playing refers to the changing of one's behavior to assume a role, either unconsciously to fill a social role, or consciously to act out an adopted role. I know a fair bit about Role playing now as I did it before on the server!

What experience have you had in Roleplaying, if any?: Being on this server at least a year ago now, And as a child I remember doing those Role play sort of things, Heh.

In your own Words, define what the act of Meta-Gaming is: Basically, Meta gaming is coming out of character during role play, bringing things from real life into it E.g Good Roleplayer: Hail there Stranger! How are you today?

Bad roleplayer: i'm good Jim how are u? I just had a really good slice of cheese. (Grammatical errors are deliberate)

In your own Words, define what the act of Power-Gaming is: I'm not exactly sure what it is, but I think it means that they make their character as powerful as it can get. (Sorry if I'm wrong! :( )

What do you expect this server will be like?: I know from experience on the server, that It is an amazing community of people picked very carefully and most people have Very good Grammar, and don't speak in a childish sort of term I.E: "Omg go awy u newb" To a person who is attacking them.

What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?: I play on a lot of different servers, I have left None of them and will try and play on all of them as much as possible. But I will definitely focus on this one the most.

Have you read, understood, and agreed to the rules?: Of course!

How did you hear about us?: I originally saw a trailer for you guys on Youtube, and I thought to myself 'WOW! that looks amazing! Ooh! I love role play, lets go join up!'

Have you voted for the Lord of the Craft on Minestatus? Which vote number were you?: I am unsure what vote number I was, it did not say any vote number But I have voted before.

Character Name: Fortis

What Race are you?: Dwarf!

What Sub-Race are you? (note, you aren’t required to have a sub-race): Cave Dwarf!

Biography (Please make this at least 2 paragraphs long. This must include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.): Fortis, a beer drinking mining Dwarf, Basically your average Dwarf! He loves to mine. It's like a drug for him! He made many friends and mined with them all the time until one night, He was attacked by a Insane wizard who cast a spell on him.. From that moment on he was hated by all the Dwarf's and so he left the town so very far away. Soon he arrived in Asulon, a place filled with loads of different races! Orc's! Human's! Elves! Even some of his fellow Dwarf's! So on that point he decided to start his new life there, at first he had no idea where to start and eventually just gained money and spent it on beer becoming a regular drunk who always woke up in the point where he found his "New life" he didn't hate it here, he was just depressed about how many friends he had lost. Even his family hated him, But for what? why do they hate him? for 6 years he spent his life earning money and then wasted it all on getting drunk, He had no tools, no weapons, no job. He wakes up one night at his regular place, vowing to make a change.. This is where my life starts he thought to himself. As he approached the priest he tried to turn away and walk but Fortis said "Priest! Please wait.. I need your help." The priest turned around and said "If you want money then you're not getting any from me you Drunken Blasphemer!" "No.. It's not that, I want to make a change to my life make something of myself! Please will you help me to get away from this current life?" The priest looked Surprised and he quickly said "If you wish to reform, Dwarf. Then I will help you. But just remember this, YOU will make the choices, not me." Fortis said quickly "You won't regret it, I'll pay you back for this someday." "Forget any pay back, I am here to help. Not to gain money from helping." And with that, his life begins.

What is your Character's ambitions?: To become a true dwarf again, and to make good friends.

What is your character’s favorite tool? (sword, pickaxe, shovel, etc): Pickaxe

What is one of your Character's most skilled talents? His fists. He feels no pain in his fists due to a rare Disease gained by only some Dwarf's.

Whilst traveling from the Cloud Temple you see a small halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond? Fortis bellowed, with a booming voice "Ey! You two! Fight like a man eh? How bouts this. You beat me in a fist fight, an' I leave ya be. But if ya' lose, you leave the boy alone." The warriors smirk as they drop their weapons to the ground "Your going Down tough guy!" The warrior charges Fortis, which was a BIG mistake. Fortis Dodges the warriors first punch, then quickly smashes the warrior straight in the jaw, knocking him out instantly! "Ooh you'll regret that now you midget.." The other warrior rushes forward and hits Fortis directly in the nose. Enraged by this happening he makes a large scream kicks the warrior in the leg bringing him to his knees then Fortis supplied a direct hit directly on his nose, Breaking it in the process. The warrior curled up on the floor screaming in agony, Fortis walked over to the boy "Kid are ya okay?" "I'm okay mister! Thanks for the help" he tries to give Fortis a lot of Minas "No, kid. I'm trying to stop myself buying beer, I don't need your money." The boy ran off and waved before he left only a silhouette in the sunlight.

Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response? "Hello friend, Do ya have any cheap tools? Like a pickaxe?" "No mate, I'm sorry but I'm all out of tools! a load of Dwarf's came in and bought the last stock I had"

"Oh well, Do you know where I could earn Minas?" "Yeah, there is a load of guilds to join! Some mercenaries, Some Knights! I even heard.. That there was an assassins group.. But you don't want to get involved with them!" "Thanks friend, enjoy ya day!" Fortis said, Quickly walking off to see what else this place has to offer."

Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?: Fortis comes to the door of an abandoned house, out of curiosity he knocks on the door "Hello? anyone in there?" There was no reply. Pushing the door open, Fortis spots a chest Upon opening it he see's iron bars and a golden sword! "Wow!" He exclaimed, Picking them up.. He decided to take them as this place was obviously abandoned.

Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you you in the common tongue, how do you respond? "Hello there friends, I'm very lost! Could you possibly tell me where the nearest city is?" "Why, sure! Here make yourself comfortable" He hands Fortis a small cushion, and passes him some pork. "Alright! The nearest city from here is that way" He points north and glances a look around the camp, Obviously checking whether he was correct. "Thank you very much friend I appreciate the 'elp!

You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?: "Hello there stranger! Care to help us stop this Bandit group? they have taken the road, and until we clear it nobody is going to get that way! We'd happily pay a reward for the help" Fortis clearly see's this as a good way to make some money and quickly says "Sure, I'll help you. Just hand me an axe and some armor and I'd be glad to crack some Bandit's skulls!" "Thanks for the help Stranger" Handing him an axe and some armor Fortis equips it. "Let's go get some Bandits!"

Take time to expand upon your character, proof-read your application, read up on server lore and rules and fix the problems with your app. Do not repost you application with 24 hours, use this time to build upon it and ensure perfection. #1 Metagaming Definition isn't exactly what we are looking for. Basically it's taking OOC knowledge and using it to your advantage specifically (You were close).

#2 Powergaming is wrong, think along the lines of how players can interact with each other. How can emotes and such be powergaming? That is what we are looking for.

#3 Spontaneous disease that numbs hands? Powergaming. Please remove this from your character.

#4 Coming from other lands is a slipper slope, where was your character prior to Asulon? What spell was cast on him and why did it only effect the perceptions of the dwarves of his home land?
