no longer active 734 Share Posted March 5, 2012 I liked it! It was just the outer part that I hated.
Arbrek the Ancient 140 Share Posted March 5, 2012 It was square, boxy, and quite obviously World Edited.
Broski 54 Author Share Posted March 5, 2012 Names. I am rather tired of using ' in it seeing as nobody ever said Kal'Urguan but more Kal Urguan in my Opinion. What about ' Hudin Braithean ' atleast I like the Braithean part. This literally means Deep Brothers. Or Brothers
Arbrek the Ancient 140 Share Posted March 5, 2012 Ugh... It sounds to long and is very un-dwarven IMHO.
no longer active 734 Share Posted March 6, 2012 That name sounds to orcish. We need something that rolls off the tounge but that doesn't sound guttural.
Phelrin 60 Share Posted March 6, 2012 I always though Kal'Grim would be a good name. And new city or we continue living in an empty city that is huge. Hidden messages in the name, Algrim? <_< Either way, I want it to be a Kal. I think that fits well in the LotC Dwarven lore
tomahawk90 5 Share Posted March 6, 2012 I applaud the idea of moving. I joined this server two months ago and tried hard but for now am not really excited to play due to the dwarves being really split up. I too say build it in a mountain, if we ever need more space we can always extend the city downwards.
Broski 54 Author Share Posted March 7, 2012 You all really want Kal in it I see, I personally think it is way Over-used but I'll come back on this some later.
Thrym 188 Share Posted March 8, 2012 Not a dwarf (anymore) but I think that you need a new city. My name suggestion is stolen from Tolkien but I absolutely love it. Aglarond, the Glittering Caves.
no longer active 734 Share Posted March 8, 2012 I don't think we need Kal anymore. Kal was a thing of Aegis which we should get rid of. However, I do like the idea of a prefix for every city.
Arbrek the Ancient 140 Share Posted March 8, 2012 Karak, Kar, Nal, Rak, & Kar are my suggestions. I prefer Karak, though.
Thrym 188 Share Posted March 8, 2012 Just came up with an edited version of Aglarond to include a prefix Kar'glarond.
Kilgrim 361 Share Posted March 8, 2012 The new city should be small but big enough that not everyone is scrunched together. ALL houses should be in one general area and should not be classified by poor, middle-class, or rich. They should all be same size and worth the same. A affordable price and big enough that you are able to make your own design changes. Interior should be able to be completely changeable and there should be at least 1-2 blocks between each houses's wall. There should be a large feasting area where we could have daily or weekly get togethers. Tell your stories enjoy ale and get to know each other better. Then there should be some sort of Mushroom farm area. it should look natural in my opinion. Possibly ask admins for Mycelium dirt or however you spell it. Would add that feel of erosion and somewhat toxic. Another thought would be the "Hall of Fallen Kings." Statues of dead kings with bodies (if they were recovered) inside the statue. This idea has come up many times in past months and I feel it would be nice to actually incorporate it. Lastly, there should be somewhat of Underground water source. This would be our main supply of food which would be fish. This was originally planned but was never actually put into action. I hope the 3 high kings take these ideas into serious consideration, and thanks for reading.

Wirri 1 Share Posted March 8, 2012 http://i.imgur.com/e1tF8.jpg Gonna go ahead and post this here, not sure if it's a good location, as it is relatively small. But it is a bit past Dwain and the middle would be a great place to enter.
