Small 2-3 Sentence Description of yourself: My name is Raph. My hobbies include hanging out with friends and exploring all kinds of video games. I aim to be accepted in a decent college and hope to have a steady job. My favorite activity to do is shooting hoops.

How much time could you be on the server weekly?: I can put at least four hours a day into this server everyday.

What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you: I do not know much about Roleplaying. My definition of Roleplaying is exploring a world that you will never have the experience of doing, unless it is with Roleplay. Its a good way to pass time and meet great people.

What experience have you had in Roleplaying, if any?: I have had no Roleplaying experience, but I hope to have this server be my first Roleplaying game.

In your own Words, define what the act of Meta-Gaming is: In my opinion Meta-Gaming is when you take knowledge you have come by through outside sources and apply it to your character in-game.

In your own Words, define what the act of Power-Gaming is: Power-Gaming is when you make yourself invincible and do not give other players a fair chance to react to the situation.

What do you expect this server will be like?: I expect this server to be a fun new twist to Minecraft that I will dedicate many hours to.

What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?: I have played on MC.PvP.com. I left because of the new map restart, and do not find the joy of doing repetitive activities for four months.

Character Name: Ra'saad

What Race are you?: Human

What Sub-Race are you? (note, you aren’t required to have a sub-race): None.

Biography (Please make this at least 2 paragraphs long. This must include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.): Ra'saad was born sometime during the first Nordic War. His exact birthday and location is unknown, but his adoptive Blackmarshian parents say he was found raveled in a worn blanket in the back of a caravan's wagon. He grew up in a very bad part of Blackmarsh, and was constantly a accomplice and victim of crimes. He was often sent out into the woods to hunt with a bow. His adoptive parents were slaughtered while he was apprenticed to a blacksmith at age sixteen. One night he decided to break the vows to his master and escaped to a small village named Korinth and worked as a farmer for a wealthy land owner. After hearing many rumors of a distant land, he has decided to venture to its very center and search for a new life...

Ra'saad has a very dark complex. He has a distinctive scar going across his face. He is a medium build and very good at freestyle running. He was known in Blackmarsh for his "quick hands".

What is your Character's ambitions?: To start a new life with a clean slate.

What is your character’s favorite tool? (sword, pickaxe, shovel, etc): You can always see Ra'saad walking around with a bow on his back.

What is one of your Character's most skilled talents? Ra'saad is very experienced with petty thievery and a very good archer.

Other Information about your Character: Ra'saad will do almost anything for some quick cash.

Open-Response-Questions

Whilst traveling from the Cloud Temple you see a small halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond? Ra'saad closely examines the situation while casually walking past and notices that the warriors are actually guards, and the halfling is a small time convict. He continues to travel out towards his destination.

Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response?

Ra'saad confidently attempts to barter for the price on a bottle of rare whiskey. Eventually the merchant gives in and falls for Ra'saad's overwhelming personality.

Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?: Ra'saad would quickly empty the chest, taking only valuable and necessary items.

Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you you in the common tongue, how do you respond? Ra'saad would ask for food and shelter, in return for manual labor.

You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?: Ra'saad would quickly jump at the offer without a single regret.

It's not clear that you know what roleplaying is. Roleplaying isn't just exploring a fantasy world. It's a whole new style of playing. Research it.

There was no Nordic war in LotC.

There is no Blackmarsh in LotC.

Being orphaned is very cliche, and you don't explain what happened to either sets of your parents.

How did your character learn how to use the bow?

Aegis and Asulon are the only continents in existence, and Aegis has been destroyed. You can't really come from outside them.

You cannot steal or kill without a villain application.

You need more detail in your open response questions. Tell more than your character's initial reaction, including dialogue, details of any combat and reactions of other characters. You need to really explain the scenario and follow it to its end. There is no "would".
