Lynx 158 Share Posted March 10, 2012 (I have been working on this idea for a while, but because of school and other things I have not been able to for a month or so. This week I got help from a friend [loliwannaplay] and wrote a lot more down. This is still a w.i.p but this is what we have so far. I'm not the best writer but I hope this is okay.) -The Cru'ortal- The Cru’ortal is a disease created awhile back and has no findable origin. It alters the persons mind and physical appearance. It alters their mind and appearance by making them more vampiric. They develop a addiction to blood and in some rare cases makes the person insomniac, eventually making them insane. It is spread through blood. -What is an Assecla?- The Assecla are people within any race that have acquired a disease that makes them vampiric. It morphs the body in strange ways giving the person blood to bright red eyes, sharp front teeth, and a craving for blood. The persons senses get altered to make them be able to smell and be alerted by the presence of blood. -Pros- -Gains an energy boost if recently feed -Immortal, can only be permanently killed if the body is properly disposed of. -Cons- -Bloodlust if they haven’t fed recently. -Hunted/hated by most members of society. -If they don’t feed for a while they become extremely weak. -Red eyes mark Assecla, making them relatively easy to point out. -Lack of self control. -Sickened by animal blood. -If the Assecla has gone without blood for a half a year the Assecla will begin to fall fatally ill. -If the Assecla has gone to long without blood their physical features start to look more frail and bone like. -Physical Appearance and Habits - An Assecla has deep or bright red eyes. They have very sharp fangs. They normally act like regular people but when around the presence of blood they feel very uncomfortable and some will even lash out at a person. -A Cure- As of now there is no real cure. Though people search it seems even the strongest magic or potions could not undo the disease. -How to turn- Assecla gives its blood to mortal. If the mortal dies with the Assecla blood in his/her system, the mortal becomes tainted with the disease. -After being given the disease- The new Assecla will die for a day. When the Assecla awakens he/she must drink mortal blood. If he/she chooses not to drink mortal blood then he/she would go through a VERY painful, illness like purge, and eventually the taint will dissipate. *major editing being done* (Again, sorry if lack of detail. Edit: Also somethings, like Ninja's can mix with others. The Red Eye thing can be misinterpreted a whole lot since 95 percent of people have red eyes on this server along with blue eyes. There are many things like undead, such as http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Undead#Forms_of_undead . I am sorry if coming back after killed is a little to close. And mixed with others? The curse then works its way into our blood, infusing itself with it. Hours later, we are revived. That's sort of how we're thinking about it. PS: The red eye, I agree completely. Although some things can confuse people. Like calling people out. Overall, this just seems like a cannibal kind of subtype of it. Thats what i see. Cannibalism (from Caníbales, the Spanish name for the Carib people,[1] a West Indies tribe formerly well known for their practice of cannibalism[2]) is the act or practice of humans eating the flesh of other human beings. Cannibalism is eating flesh. Not drinking blood Edit: Also most cannibals file mostly all their teeth down. Not just the front two Edit: Can we take this to PMs instead? My idea for this is to make it a disease and ask a GM or something to make a subtype of cannibal to be something like "BloodDrinker" or something. Makes sense. Ivran 137 Share Posted March 10, 2012 The reason we don't want this as a subtype of cannibal is because it's a 'curse', not a fetish, or anything of the sort. It's someone who has decided that immortality is what they crave, the ability to live forever and not have to worry about illnesses that may be fatal, or old age.
