I live in Illinois and like to spend my free time on my computer and riding my bike. I love to play Minecraft.

I could spend 6-7 hours a week on the server.

What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you.:

Roleplaying is when you choose a character then act like you are him/her. You have to think like they would think, act like they would act, and feel like they would feel. In role playing, players become interactive. They step out of their normal roles and into another role -- often one that opposes their own goals and values. In this way, for example, an environmental activist and an industrial representative might change roles for purposes of the exercise. By presenting their own interpretation of how their characters would react, participants are often enlightened about the attitudes and behavior of others. You can roleplay on games or in real life such as, when you and your spouse pretend to be out on a first date, even though you have been married for ten years.

In your own Words, describe what Metagaming and Powergaming are.

Metagaming is when you use out-of-character information in-character such as telling who someone is by looking at the name above there head.

Powergaming is when you do things that your character couldn't do such as *Chops head off with hand*, impossible. Doing this is wrong and ruins RP.

What do you expect this server will be like?:

I expect this server to look, feel, and be awesome.

I have played on TONS of servers. I can name off a few though TDMC, CowCraft, KatipoCraft, and LegendsOfEmpires.

I have read the rules multiple times. I fully understand, respect, and agree to the rules.

I heard about LOTC off of YouTube and from a friend.

Dashiell

What is your Race?:

My character's race is elf.

Biography(This should include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.):

Dashiell was born in a large city called Al'Khazar. He spent his free time hunting with his father to keep the village well fed. From all of the hunting Dashiell had trained himself to use the forces of nature in his advantage. Then a bad thing happened to Al'Khazar.

Al'Khazar was attacked by ravage undead. Dashiell fought for his life to keep the undead out, he killed many of them with one slice of his iron sword, but there was to many of them. The undead raided the village and took everything that was worth money. His father died in battle and his mother was taken to prison. The town fell to ashes and was filled with deadly sulfur. In one day Dashiell lost everything he owned in loved. He was scarred for life to see the murder of his father. He was sad for months. Then he suddenly was motivated to start a new life since the one he had fell apart. He packed whatever he had left then went to find a job and a new home.

Dashiell now seeks refuge anywhere he can find it. He needs to find a home and a job to survive. Hopefully he finds his pathway of life soon. He searched everywhere for a job. He ran into guards and was jailed a few times. So far Asulon hasn't been working out but he hasn't given up hope. He strides to succeed and become something greater.

Your characters ambitions:

Dashiell ambitions are to survive, become rich, and to grow a family.

Out in the Wilds, your character comes across a small cottage. Outside, there appears to be an elf struggling combat with two bandits. What does your character do?

Dashiell helps out the elf by asking the bandits for peace. They reject his offer so he unsheathes his sword and asks again. They again reject his offer. He picks up the elf and begins to sprint away hoping the bandits would get tired and give up. After the bandits give up he sets the elf behind a tree and runs off.

Your character walks up to a shop in a quiet market. "Hello, my good sir!" says the shop owner. "What may I help you with today?" How does your character answer?

Dashiell asks to buy some food and supplies. Then asks if the shop worker know where he can get a job.

What is your character’s favorite tool? (sword, pickaxe, shovel, etc):

Dashiell's favorite tool is the sword. It deals a great amount of damage and can save ones life.

What is one of your Character's most skilled talents?

My character's talented skill is to be able to mine. He is also is great at mining which he learned from his father. He hopes to use these skills to succeed in Ausulon.

Open-Response-Questions

Whilst traveling from the Cloud Temple you see a small halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond?

I would first ask the warriors why they are harming the halfling, then I would try to convince them to leave the halfling alone. I would even offer them some of my own money in return for peace.

Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?:

Dashiell would wait for someone to approach the hut. He would ask them if they lived here and if he could have some of the things, he would never steal.

You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?:

Dashiell would accept and help the guard. Although he would not accept the reward because he believes he should fight for his home anyways. He would slide on his armor and fight for his home.
