Small 2-3 Sentence Description of yourself: im sorry, but i cannot answer this. if i did i would make me sound a lot better than I really am. And it kind of makes me uncomfortable.

How much time could you be on the server weekly? : depends on what’s happening that day/week, but most likely 5-6 hours a week minimum normally

What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you: assuming a role to act out a person with certain actions. for instance, if me and my friends decided to pretend to role-play, and i was a chef and he’s was a fighter, hed fight and id cook for him.

What experience have you had in Roleplaying, if any?:not much, but im a VERY fast learner

In your own Words, define what the act of Meta-Gaming is: playing with knowledge their character doesn’t know. for example, if im playing knights of the old republic, and i know a boss is ahead but the character doesn’t, id prepare myself even though its unknown why to the character.

In your own Words, define what the act of Power-Gaming is: controlling another players character. For example, I used to play a forum based rp, and while I was fighting someone, they said I threw a punch at them when I never said that. its also just going through a game as fast as possible, and never stopping to do a side quest.

What do you expect this server will be like?: no expectations, every time i expect something on a server i get the EXACT opposite

What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?: minetown, not playing currently due to connection error, some tekkit servers, haven’t left any of those.

Biography (Please make this at least 2 paragraphs long. This must include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.):

My character is young, 22. he commonly wears brown, dirty, tattered clothes with a gray hood. his old job is just being a wanderer and an explorer. he’s very poor though, having never gotten lucky with an explorations. hes now a simple farmer and shopkeeper, but he’s hoping to be an assassin later on.

He came from a rich family, but when he left his family to explore, he was cut off from his inheritance. He now has no idea where his family is or where they are. He assumes they are still rich, but he has no idea.

He is a very kind and generous person, selling his wares very cheaply. What little he has he’s glad to share with others. At one point he gave a gold coin back to someone who claimed it was theirs when he was in danger of losing everything. He managed to get through it though and kept his house.

What is your Character's ambitions?: to be an assassin (I know I can’t be one to start, this is what my character wants to do later in his life.)

What is your character’s favorite tool? (Sword, pickaxe, shovel, etc.): sword. The reasons why it is because when he was with his rich family, he was trained in the art of swordsmanship, but he lost his edge (unintentional pun) at it. He can still use a sword, but nowhere near as good.

What is one of your Character's most skilled talents?: farming food and selling items. As having been farming for many years, he has made homemade ways to have them grow faster (bone meal.) and is very good at it. He’s good at selling items because he has to sell some of the food and bits of stone from his small mine and farm to pay bills.

Open-Response-Questions

whilst traveling from the Cloud Temple you see a small Halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond?

as he walked through the forest, looking for apples for food, he saw a small Halfling being what looks like harassment. He walked up to them and asks “what’s happening here?”. The warriors said “we asked him for directions, but when we did he started screaming.” As he finished, the Halfling screamed “NO! Leave me be, spawn from hell! Just leave me be and let me die in peace!” as he said that, the warriors said “relax, were not demon spawn. We want to help you.” As he said that, he yelled” NO!” as he said that, he ripped the sword from the warriors hand and stabbed one and slashed the others head off. As he was doing that, iskast ran for the nearest city to take refuge. As he was running, he turned back and saw the crazy Halfling running into the wilderness.

Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well-dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response?

As he walked into the roaring marketplace, he’s greeted by a merchant. He asks him if he has a potion or medicine to cure demon possession. “no I don’t, but I know a priest in this city that may be able to help.” Once he has the directions, he goes to the chapel and says to the priest “can you perform an exorcism?” he asks the priest. “no, it’s illegal now. However, I can make him a potion. Here, I always have 2 on me. Just pin him down and have him drink it and hell be cured.” After he thanks him, he leaves to go find the halfling.

Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?:

As he walked through the wild area, you find a small hut, which looks abandoned. As you walk into the hut, you see a chest. In it is a golden sword and a few iron bars. You take everything, but as you walk out you are meet upon by several bandits. As they close in on you, you pull out and the golden sword and fight them, using the scraps of sword training you remember. You take out the weakest one first, but break the golden sword in the promise. You take the iron sword the bandit had and fought the rest of them. You just barely manage to defeat them, and you resume your search for the halfling.

Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you in the common tongue, how do you respond?

Once you get in the camp, your greeted by traders in the local language. Having no idea how to respond, you reply in your language, but they have no idea what your saying. Right as you finish your sentence, the Halfling runs into the camp and screams “demon spawn, I have been watching you from step one! NOW FEEL MY WRATH!” jumping at him as he says it. Being a considerable amount stronger than the Halfling, even while hungry, he engages in a long sword battle with the Halfling. After hours upon hours of fighting with him, he manages to pin him down. He pulls out the potion and makes him drink, and the Halfling is cured instantly. “what happened?” he asks. “You were possessed by a demon; you killed two warriors and tried to kill me to. I found a way to get it out of you though and your fine now.” You say. “Thank you.” Says the Halfling, and he hands you a piece of pork.

You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard has gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information? :

As you hear this news, you go find the Halfling from earlier and tells him, asking if he can go with him and fight the bandits and split the reward. “here’s your answer.” He says, tossing him a sword. They go to where the guard was, but they were gone already. “wonderful, they left already.” You say, “let’s just follow them.” As they ran down the road, they came to the camp where the guard was being beat badly they ran into the camp and started cutting down bandits. Once they got back to the town, they were rewarded with a few coins and left happily.

Work on your definitions of metagaming, roleplaying and powergaming. They are technically correct, but do not fully demonstrate your understanding. Metagaming and powergaming are against the rules.

Your biography needs a lot of work. Nobody aspires to murdering people for a living. Parts of your character contradict each other. Your character is underdeveloped. You need to explore his history and childhood.

The situations in your open response questions are extremely unrealistic. Also, the traders greet you in common. Common is the language that everybody speaks.
