Im sorry, but I cannot answer this. If I did I would make me sound a lot better than I really am. And it kind of makes me uncomfortable.

How much time could you be on the server weekly? :

Depends on what’s happening that day/week, but most likely 5-6 hours a week minimum normally

what do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you:

It is assuming a role to act out a person with certain actions. For instance, if me and my friends decided to pretend to role-play, and I was a chef and he’s was a fighter, he would fight and id cook for him.

What experience have you had in Roleplaying, if any?:

not much, but im a VERY fast learner

In your own Words, define what the act of Meta-Gaming is:

playing with knowledge their character doesn’t know. for example, if im playing knights of the old republic, and I know a boss is ahead but the character doesn’t, id prepare myself even though its unknown why to the character.

From an rp standpoint, it means you can’t just look above his head and know his name. if I see a guy named magenta on the street, I can’t just go “hey magenta.” Hed say “do I know you?” you CANT do that! You HAVE to go up to him and ask him his name

In your own Words, define what the act of Power-Gaming is:

controlling another players character. For example, I used to play a forum based rp, and while I was fighting someone, they said I threw a punch at them when I never said that. it’s also just going through a game as fast as possible, and never stopping to do a side quest.

It also means to have “super powers” (i.e., flying.) or doing something you can’t do in real life. For example, if I say “im going to run into that guys car in mine at top speed then drive away!”, that’d be power gaming, since you couldn’t drive away from that in real life.

What do you expect this server will be like?:

no expectations, every time I expect something on a server I get the EXACT opposite

What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?:

mine town, not playing currently due to connection error, some tekkit servers, haven’t left any of those.

Biography (Please make this at least 2 paragraphs long. This must include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.):

My character is young, 22. he commonly wears brown, dirty, tattered clothes with a gray hood. His old job is just being a wanderer and an explorer. He’s very poor though, having never gotten lucky with an exploration. He’s now a simple farmer and shopkeeper.

He came from a rich family, but when he left his family to explore, he was cut off from his inheritance. He now has no idea where his family is or where they are. He assumes they are still rich, but he has no idea.

He is a very kind and generous person, selling his wares very cheaply. What little he has he’s glad to share with others. At one point he gave a gold coin back to someone who claimed it was theirs when he was in danger of losing everything. He managed to get through it though and kept his house.

As a child, he was insanely greedy. He went as far to steal a poor old man’s single coin. He is now grieved by it, and tries to repay community by being generous with the little amount he has.

As a child, his parents despised him. That’s the main reason he left them to go explore. He wanted to ever after an explorer who had struck it rich exploring came and talked at their school. He told them of the magnificent wonders of caves filled with glittering jewels and gold. Ever after that he wanted to be an explorer.

What is your Character's ambitions?:

To get out of the poverty he’s been stuck in for so long.

What is your character’s favorite tool? (Sword, pickaxe, shovel, etc.):

sword. The reasons why it is because when he was with his rich family, he was trained in the art of swordsmanship, but he lost his edge (unintentional pun) at it. He can still use a sword, but nowhere near as good.

What is one of your Character's most skilled talents?:

farming food and selling items. As having been farming for many years, he has made homemade ways to have them grow faster (bone meal.) and is very good at it. He’s good at selling items because he has to sell some of the food and bits of stone from his small mine and farm to pay bills.

Open-Response-Questions

whilst traveling from the Cloud Temple you see a small Halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond?

Frozen by the thought of violence, he checks his map to see where the nearest city was. It was, of course, the cloud temple. He runs around the bandits at a safe distance, and hurry’s to the cloud temple. Once there, he asks a guard to help him save the Halfling.

Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well-dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response?

browse his wares he has out, listening to the insane amount of noise that’s happening around him. Coins jingling, items being traded for gold, the shout of a merchant as someone tries to steal something from him, and he replies “sorry, but I don’t need anything here.”

Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?:

he checks to see if the gold is real, but even if it is, he doesn’t take anything. It may look abandoned, but that doesn’t mean it is. He weighs the sword to see how many ounces of gold it is, then returns it to the chest.

Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you in the common tongue, how do you respond?

Ask them if they have any food they would be willing to give to him. Since they would most likely say so, he asks if there’s any he can buy. If there is he barters with them to get a price they both want, if not move on and hope to find something.

You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town’s guard has gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information? :

I go down and scout for them. I watch their guard rotations, which guards look the weakest and when they’ll be guarding the front gate, and once he has all that information, goes back and tells the guards when the best time to attack would be.

-I also recommend a rewrite of you definitions of powergaming and metagaming. They are mostly right, but you need to make sure the whole of them applies to roleplay.
