Links to Accepted Charters: The City of Seventis The Town of Seventis The Town of Azar The Town of Pine Harbor What has driven your town to become a larger nation? or Why is this settlement choosing to become a nation? The Kingdom of Seventis and its King, Renati, has set its intentions to new horizons. Starting with the quaint town of Azar, that was eventually taken in siege, the new town of Seventis was born. The humble town was full of dedicated men who were ready to rebuild and see their dreams become a reality. The town expanded into a city due to the graciousness of the Monks. Seventis quickly grew large and full of life, becoming a trade center and beacon of hope in the troubled times. Lord Damien of Seventis eventually traveled far off to start a Seventis colony coined Pine Harbor. Afterwards, the town of Ascella had joined Seventis. King Renati saw this as an opportunity to move his crowded people to a new capital. Ascella was rebuilt after a violent storm left ruins in its wake. The city had a grand market and a nice keep, protected by an army and The Crimson Blades. The people and King Renati have realized their time is now. To become an official Nation of Asulon is their dream. It all started with an idea, and they were prepared to not let that dream die. And it wont. How active has your town been in the world? What history and events have occurred in your town? or What do you see this nation growing to become? Seventis is very influential, with alliances from Hanseti to Dwarven Clans, they have good relations. There was a large war with Andromeda that was prompted by many disputes. The Seventis people prevailed and Andromeda was disbanded. Celebrating their victory, King Renati saw this a good time to enlarge his lands and help his people prosper. Seventis also has its own religion and set of gods, which further enriches the culture and sets them apart from the other nations that seem to have the same religious feel everywhere, which is quite bland. The government and military each has its own lore and is very differential to the rest of the Lord of The Craft world. Below is a quote from our Town Charter that describes our history in great detail. "The Loyalists branched off to form Seventis, still under Lord Renati's rule. The other lore of the Town can be found on Azar's original charter. We would be a safe haven for travelers, a place to trade good , find services, and join an army. We wont be afraid to defend what we have. The people of Seventis are on high alert for rebels and are currently not very open to outsiders, though Renati is trying to ease his people to the best of his abilities. Many deaths and tragedies have acted as roadblocks for thsi goal, however. Our former town has been overtaken by rebels, however we are motivated and determined to move and acquire a new locate for our settlers and loyalists to rest themselves, this is an entirely new town, however we are in the process of obtaining resources to construct the town from scratch and the former citizens of Azar have came to us and have still the same citizens. We are the same people from Azar. Azar has been renamed Ascella by the rebels who overtook it." And from our City's Charter. "Our town has been driven to become a city due to the incredible motivation, determination, and ambitious burning desires of our town's military, citizens, and government officials. We have done an incredible amount of constructing our beautiful town to the utmost best standards, and we have acquired and constructed a substantial amount of residential locations such as homes and shops to boost our economy. We now currently have citizens that are residing in our town. They have shown interest in our town, and they all have gone through so much. We had rebels attack our former town, and we have showed Asulon that we did not give up. We prevailed-- and constructed a new town, we are so proud of the efforts of everyone who has given their time and efforts to make our town where it is now. And now, we plan to take it one step further, and expand into the gracious, beautiful, and elegant lands of the Cloud Temple's grasp. We shall expand, acquiring farms, more homes, and adding more to our city. We are anxious to expand, as our town has gotten relatively crowded. But that is alright. It leaves room for expansion, to make it even greater then it is now. Our town has been very active in the world. We get visitors every day, and we have sold goods to others, we have negotiated alliances, in fact, the town we used to reside in, Azar, or now renamed Ascella, is now our ally. This shows the amazing work our citizens and officials have done to make our former enemy-- our friend. Historic events that have occurred is the Battle of the Bulk, or the Battle of Azar. It is a sad day in our people's history. Our former town, Azar, was overtaken. But we have overcome this. Who is to say we can overcome more? We plan to become a powerful, peaceful, and well-rounded city-- or perhaps a nation. We will show the world, that we can recover from a fatal blow to our people. We have been active, having merchants, traders, warriors, and all races come to our town to purchase goods, have their armor repaired, buy food, and exchange common talk." To conclude- Seventis has gone from a quaint town to a bustling city, from a few men with a dream to a massive reality. Things will continue to better, I am sure of it. How will your town evolve to adapt to this growth? Seventis and her people will put their new lands to good use and further their unique culture and experience in the Asulonian world. Many new fiefdoms and fortifications will pop up, bringing a sense of Feudalism to the the Nation. The people are close knit and stick together through thick and thin, and I have a feeling this will continue. The people will face any challenge head on as they are blessed by the Gods and lead by Heroes. We will quickly help the lands flourish and revamp the economy in the area along with establishing interesting relations with other nations. The new addition of land would allow a more unified area which in turn would bring more RP to the area, instead of a spread out group of towns.
