MC Username:

Rp Username (be sure to include the correct prefix, look up on info thread):

Ja'Quetze (I'm assuming the Ja' is the priest title by what is said on the info page)

Character Skillset:

At the moment, farming and lumberjacking, I may change them if we receive stat resets.

Appearance (age, SUBRACE, gender):

His defining feature is his deep crimson fur. He has an unhealthy figure, like a spoiled and lazy cat that spends too much time laying around.

Personality:

Egotistical. He has a very regal attitude, only truly respecting two; Metztli, and the one Metztli chose to lead the Kharajyr, Tla'Xerdun. Though he sometimes prays to Metztli (in private) that he is her truest disciple and that he is the most worthy of her children. He would never speak publically of his desires or even act apon them, in fear that Metztli and her chosen would become angered at him.

Please include a short bio of your character's life:

Ja'Quetze was born into nobility, being a priest and all. He always thought himself the true chosen of Metztli, because he frequently communicated with her in his dreams and prayers. Most of the time she didn't speak back, but he respected that, he knew she was busy, being the obviously superior of the gods and all. He spends most of his time preparing for ceremonies, conducting ceremonies, and praying to Metztli. Metztli is his God, his Mother, and his Life.

In his free time, Ja'Quetze fishes, he finds it very relaxing and soothing. He taught himself to fish, so hes not the best, but he tries. His favorite meal of all is definitely fresh, warm bread. He loves the soft texture and grainy flavor. When he is in a very luxurious mood, he'll sprinkle sugar atop his bread, giving himself a mellow high. When he gets such a high is the only time he spends really socializing with his peers, sometimes having parties celebrating the gifts that are their form and empire.

Ja'Quetze is a "Momma's boy" of sorts, Metztli is his one true friend, his guide, and the one he speaks to of all his inner feelings and emotions. He is always wanting more sacrifices for his Goddess, Metztli, he understands (his point of veiw) that she prefers human sacrifice over petty forest creatures and farm stock. Ja'Quetze would never even think to betray his Goddess Metztli and he is constantly asking for more human captives for sacrifice, and he takes it as an insult when the other chosen of Metztli refuse or say they don't have the time to collect sacrifices, and believes them to be betrayers of their almighty goddess, Metztli. Ja'Quetze wears only the finest wool and gold accessories, but he still considers even the poorest Kharajyr his equals, unless they prove themselves unworthy to be equal by refusing to give proper sacrifice to Metztli.

Though Egotistical, Ja'Quetze was never quite as strong or swift as his brethren. He can barely climb a tree, and once he reaches the top, he's rarely in the mood to come down anytime soon. He eats quite a bit as well. He goes fishing every few hours and usually ends up eating five average sized fish a day, and it wouldn't be a good day without him eating some soft fresh bread for a nice evening treat. He loves sugar but manages to eat it somewhat in moderation. Ja'Quetze loves Metztli, loves food, and loves himself.

Character's ambitions:

To serve his Goddess, Metztli

_---Situational Rp Questions---_

1.

As you travel through the Karakatuan jungle, you spot a human trespassing on your nation's lands. He approaches you, obviously distressed, and asks for any food, water, or shelter that you can provide, then tells you that he has been lost in the area for days without any proper supplies. How do you react?:

(done from the ape's point of veiw for a more original point of veiw)

I was so hungry, I had been travelling the forests for days in search of any civilization, and I had finally gotten my wish. I thought I was in some sort of dream, odd feline humanoids greeted me at the entrance to the solemn stone civilization, most of them resented me, calling me an ape, and warning me to leave soon or be in great peril, but I had no other option. There was one of them that stood out, an slightly portly looking feline, with deep crimson fur, he was the only one that dared welcome me into his home. He offered me soup and directed me to an old wooden table with a bowl set near the edge. I felt great relief as I took a seat on the creaky wooden chair adjacent to the table.

I peered into the worn wooden bowl atop the table, it was almost empty and there was no spoon in sight. I looked around the table for a spoon, and before I knew it Something blunt and heavy had struck the side of my skull, making a large thud, I had passed out on the floor seconds after the blow. I woke up scared as hell, my arms and legs tied onto a large stone counter, and rope around my head muffling my screams for help. I looked all around me, I noticed I was atop a humungous temple, hundreds at the bottom cheering and raising their arms, above me was the crimson furred creature, he looked down upon me with a wicked grin, holding his knife towards the heavens. he shouted some odd words I couldn't undersrand, he then swiftly brought the knife down, right into the middle of my rib-cage, and began to rip it down through my torso, and everything fading to dark again. I never woke up.

(Now from a third person veiw point, just to clarify)

Ja'Quetze ripped through the human's chest with little friction, pulling from it the still beating heart of the man. he shouted from the top of his lungs "Metztli!", and the crowd wildly cheered. He then, with his free hand, shoved the limp body off the counter and it rolled violently down the temple stairs. The crowd watched with seemingly great interest as the dead body tumbled down the already bloodied temple steps towards them. Ja'Quetze chanted loudly "Metztli is great!, Metztli is great!" and the crowd joins in.

2.

As you romp through the lands of the "apes", you come across a tavern. Inside this tavern, a Dwarf notices you and starts gawking at you, then begins to speak.

"Oi! I gots a bowl of cream for you, Kitty! Ha! I'd bet you would make a nice throw rug, wouldn't ya, ya mangy furball?!"

He continues act generally as racist as possible. What do you do?:

Ja'Quetze gently smiles as the dwarf insults his obviously superior form, he understands this to be from jealousy. Ja'Quetze would mearly brush off the dwarf, seeing him as an inferior sacrifice compared to the taller specie of Asulon. As you might of already picked up, Ja'Quetze doesn't like the apes, and he would never travel to their lands unless to gather sacrifices for Metztli. He sees dwarves and halflings as inferior, because of their size. They do not fit the sacrifice table correctly, which much mean something to Ja'Quetze.

3.

One of your fellow Kharajyr and a close friend of yours comes to your dwelling in the middle of the night and begins to pound on your door. After you let him in, he confesses to killing another Kharajyr over a slice of cake. What do you do in response?

Ja'Quetze would merely ask his friend to apologize to Metztli through prayer. Ja'Quetze would probably listen in on his praying to make sure he is actually doing it correctly, and that he truly worships Metztli. He would then ask that his friend sacrifice an important object or animal to Metztli, in order to make up for his slaughter. If Ja'Quetze's friend proved himself forgiven, Ja'Quetze would go on treating the friend as if nothing ever happened. Ja'Quetze takes what he believes to be Metztli's opinion as his own.

Do you swear to follow the Tlatlanni and uphold his law, and do you swear to hold Metztli and all of her actions as sacred?

OOC: Yessssss :D

IC: Of course. Please do not humor me with such questionings of my faith.

Why not describe the character a bit more than "holier than thou, loves metztli, loves himself"?

Added two paragraphs about his personal life. Thank you for giving me some advice, and excuse me for the ignorance. The spot about he being all holy etc. is his opinion, not reality.

EDIT: also, I focused it mainly on Ja'Quetze and his relationship with Metztli because that IS his life, Metztli is his life and his reason to live. He spends most of his time with and for her. She is his guide and his best friend, well, from his eyes of course. Hope that helps you understand a bit. :)
