Updated Forum Warnings Procedures

During the recent Fm meeting it was decided that to make people fear getting warned the repercussions of getting warned need to be harsher. This should stop players thinking that they can break the rules 10 times before being permabanned from the forums.

The new warnings are to be interpreted as so:

1-3 points in the warning status : Warning the player of their wrong doing.

4-6 points in the warning status : A 1 day posting ban on the forums.

7 points in the warning status : A 3 day posting ban on the forums.

8 points in the warning status : A week posting ban on the forums.

9 points in the warning status : A 2 week posting ban on the forums.

10 points in the warning status : Perma-banned on the forums.

More than one warning point can be given depending on the circumstances which lead to the initial warning.

The removal of warning status' depend on what the warning was given for, for example double posting, If a person who was warned for this doesn't double post over the next week and seems to have learned from the warning then you can remove it. It is up to the FM's discretion

Remember though, if it is a first time offense and the offense committed was minor then you can warn them but not add a warning point to the warning status.

May I inquire, what about the people already with the amount of warns to merit a temporary ban? Should the next warn be counted as a temp-ban?

Its from now on so for example player X has 5 points and then gets 2 points of infraction he then he gets a 2 day ban the points are only used as a book keeping method so an FM knows what punishment to give.

Would it be possible to exercise something of a "judgement call" if we feel that they deserve more than just a slap on the wrist warning? Like perhaps jumping directly to the second step or something? I can think of a few examples as to why I ask, if you need to hear them. ^.^
