Mirtok 2853 Share Posted April 1, 2012 *As you travel the snowy lands of Hanseti, you see a number of large posters posted on many walls and posts. After a while you deicide to stop and read one of them. It is a direct public letter to the people from the Hochmeister Mirtok, explaining a new set of policies that his Order now lives by. Hello people of Hanseti and travelers of Asulon, I bring you all a sneak peak into the inner workings of the Teutonic Order. It has come to my attention that many people believe that we are an evil group, filled with snobby men and brutish followers. I would like to personally address that, under my command such characteristics will never appear in the ranks of my men. To ensure this I have drafted a number of policies that I expect my men as well as myself to abide to. Here is a brief list of the more important codes you can expect from the Order. Elven Weekly Report: - All Sariants must submit a combat/event report each Elven week. The contents of these reports can consist of any number of actions: Kill list, heroic acts, infamous acts, progress on a given assignment, building accomplishments, material yielding, and diplomatic activities. Failure to submit a report will result in an addition of extra work projects or removal from future events. Reports must be turned in regardless if they are late or not. Prolonged report absence can result in membership termination. Sariants away on special missions or reported MIA are excused from the report ins. Order Resignition Policy: - All Sariants whom desire to leave the Order must complete the following: Find a suitable and reliable replacement for any and all positions held by the member, complete all started projects to their fullest and satisfaction. Write a letter of resignation explaining reasons for leaving and future plans, and swear an oath of secrecy to all you know about the Order and its members. failure to complete each item listed will result in a dishonorable discharge from the Order, forfeit of all possessions and property, and a bounty will be placed for their capture. Upon capture, the deserting member shall either be executed or branded with an upside down cross on the back of their necks to symbolize their betrayal. Better Armory Policy: - It is the Hochmeisters duty and responsibility to provide the best possible gear and weaponry for each outstanding or loyal Sariant. The Cross Honor Policy: - While in uniform, all members must portray the Order in the best possible light. During robbery, murder, or other acts of "evil", the member must relinquish representation of the Order unless ordered otherwise by a superior. Immortal Machine Policy: - Under the new rule of the Hochmeister, Order members may now never be pronounced as dead or KIA. The only option for absence of a Sariant is the classification of MIA or missing. This extends to all past Sariants but does not apply to Hochmeisters as a Hochmeister is no longer a Sariant once promoted to the position. The Brothers Trust Policy: - Members shall never steal from each other or from the Order. Violation will result in either membership termination or immediate execution. Alternate conclusions can be requested to and by the Hochmeister. The Order Entitlement Policy: - Every member of the Teutonic Order shall receive each of the following upon recruitment: 1 plot of residential land, 1 set of armor, 3 weapons of choice, access to the Order food stores, 1 Order uniform, and 1 plot of commercial land upon request and credentials. Every member will be fed, clothed, armored, and housed as by the duty of the Hochmeister. Symbolic Loyalty Policy: - Every home/store/building under the Teutonic command or ownership must feature a Teutonic cross either in its architecture or interior. War Time Respect Policy: - During war time, all fallen enemies of the Order shall either be given a proper burial/ceremonial burning and/or the remains returned to their served kingdom. Absolutely no deaths shall be mocked or boasted about to your fellow Order members in any way, shape, or form. Violation will result in extra work projects and removal from future events.
