Minecraft Account Name: My Minecraft name is Dragonmaster1327.

How old are you?: I apologize, but I don’t feel comfortable giving away that information.

Time-Zone/Country of Residence: I proudly live in the United States of America, and abide in the central time zone, or GMT 6.

Do you have a good grip on the English language/good grammar?: I would think so, considering it’s my native language, although I tend to misspell things.

Small 2-3 Sentence Description of yourself: I am like many other ordinary people, I like to read and write, socializing, and playing Minecraft. I always try my best, and I enjoy the outdoors.

How much time could you be on the server weekly?: I play Minecraft in my spare time, which would be 20-30 hours, 40 if I have a day or two off.

What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you: I understand many people use it to refer to games of the fantasy gene. But it means more than just making a character, or playing as one,and acting like him (Or her), it’s about living someone else’s life. It is like stepping into their shoes, reacting to things like they would. Roleplaying is more than something you do when playing a game, in most cases we use it when we write, or when we read. I know that it is more of a state of mind then an action.

What experience have you had in Roleplaying, if any?: Roleplaying is a definition that is not new to me, I use it when I’m reading to put myself into the character’s shoes. And right now I’m writing a book, and in a sense I’m roleplaying, by putting myself into my character’s shoes to see how they would react. And I’ve also played on a few online roleplaying games, Like Minecraft.

In your own Words, define what the act of Meta-Gaming is: When I first looked at this question I didn’t have a clue what you meant by “Meta-Gaming” and like many people before me, I had to look it up. Meta-gaming is almost the opposite of Roleplaying, It is when you use info you have seen out of character and use it in Character. Like when you see someone’s name tag, and without ever meeting the person previously you call him (or her) by that name or Tag. Or when you look something up about a game you didn’t know before and use it in that game, it is a lot like cheating.

In your own Words, define what the act of Power-Gaming is: This is another term I had to look up, but when I found out what it meant I saw that it has happened to me before. Power-gaming is when you do something to someone that gives that person no chance to do anything to counter or fight back. It gives that person an unfair advantage and is only fun for the person doing it.

What do you expect this server will be like?: I expect this server to be what everyone has said it is. And I hope that it is a place where I can make friends, have a fun time and learn more about Minecraft, My character, and how to be a better gamer in general.

What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?: I’ve only been on a few white listed servers that weren’t much fun. I’ve also been on a few servers that set great expectations, but didn’t meet them. I left every one of them because I didn’t feel they offered the full minecraft experience. But upon heavy study I can see this is not one of those servers.

Have you read, understood, and agreed to the rules?: Yes I have, they seem to be very well organized and fair.

Do you promise to abide by said rules, and laws? This includes the Server, Forum, and TeamSpeak set Rules: I promise.

How did you hear about us?: From many places, mainly friends, the Minecraft forums and a few of my favorite Minecraft related Youtube channels.

Have you voted for the Lord of the Craft on Minestatus? Which vote number were you?: Not yet but I will vote once I see this server for myself.

Character Name: Draxon

What Race are you?: In-Character: I honestly don’t know. Out-of-Character: He is the last of his kind. A hybrid of man and dragon, a race created centuries ago, when a man used his own powers to turn himself and 3 others into all powerful dragons. But he failed turning them into hideous lizard people. They hid, vowing that they would never venture out into the light again. For a short time years after the original “Dragon-men” hid, the population grew, forcing the people to expand into an unknown world of light and men. But a nearby kingdomfelt threatened by these mysteries people, and sending a legion of soldiers he waged war on the dragon people, who had become known as the Zekdon, or the minions of the dragon. Then in a bloody battle that lasted for 20 days the Zekdon were defeated. The last of the Zekdon scattered and hid in any place they could find.Little is known about their beliefs, rituals, and other social aspects of their daily lives. No one truly knows if there are anymore Zekdon, other than Draxon, and we may never know.

What Sub-Race are you? (note, you aren’t required to have a sub-race):

Biography (Please make this at least 2 paragraphs long. This must include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.): Wait you want to hear about me? No one has ever been willing even to associate with me around here… Well there’s not much to tell you about. As you can see I’m an orphan, Stuck in this dreaded place cense I was born, I’m fifteen. Why do you want to know all this stuff anyway? Are you going to adopt me? Well there’s no use because I turn 16 in three days and I can leave this Hell hole. Oh you weren’t going to adopt me, you just wanted to talk. No one has ever wanted to talk to me, considering I’m a lizard and all. I’ve always been here and no one has given a second thought about adopting me. My childhood has been horrible, full of people calling me a spawn of herobrine, and people throwing rocks at me. The headmistress said she found me on the side of the road, wrapped in a blanket. She’s the closest thing I have to a mother, but she never has the time to see me anymore, I just hope I’ll be able to see her before I leave.

Other than that I can’t tell you much more. What do I like? Oh that’s an easy one, Hunting, I love hunting. The first time I went hunting with the cook was wonderful. You see the other kids don’t like hunting, Its a bloody mess they say, That’s only because they’re spoiled. The first time I went hunting was the best day of my life, it was like I was teleported to another world. When I hunt I feel like I can do anything. I don’t want to brag but I’m the best Hunter there is , in this orphanage that is. When I get out of this place I want to join the Rangers of the forest. I hear they’re the best of the best. I have no real professon or job for that matter but I’ll keep an open mind, and would be glad to learn a skill if a job required it.

What is your Character's ambitions?: All I’ve ever wanted was to find some of my own people, then and only then will I find true acceptance, and finally have a true family.

What is your character’s favorite tool? (Sword, pickaxe, shovel, etc): My favorite tool is a bow, I love bows.

What is one of your Character's most skilled talents?: I can swim fast, I’m good with a bow, and I can breathe fire…. Kidding, that would be cool thought.

Other Information about your Character: What Draxon has told you is all he knows, but he will find out he has the power to speak in draconic (the native tongue of the dragons) He is also very kind, tries to be humorous, and is overall just trying to find a place to call home, and make some friends along the way.

Open-Response-Questions

Whilst traveling from the Cloud Temple you see a small Halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond? He would walk up to the guards and ask them if they could kindly give the poor Halfling his money back and walk away. If the guards respond by giving the Halfling’s money back, he would help the Halfling up and wish him a good day and walk away. If the guards responded by saying something along the line of “Go away this is none of your business” Draxon would be forced to respond by taking the money back by force and giving it back to the Halfling. Draxon will almost always side with the “little guy” due to the fact that he was always the little guy growing up.

Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well-dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response? Draxon would approach the merchant cautiously but with an open mind, he would scan the items deciding whether the wares this merchant are selling are useful and if they are of a decent price. If there is nothing of use he would walk away. If there was something that caught his eye he would haggle for it if the price is too high. And if it is of reasonable price and he needed it , he would simple buy it.

Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?: He would look for any traps along the hut, and chest , see if it was of decent occupancy, and make a mental note of the place for later use, considering he may have use for it later, or because he knows these woods well and hunts in them often.

Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you in the common tongue, how do you respond? “Hello my good and kind sirs, but I have been wandering these woods for days, and am famished, may I have a bite to eat?” I the men where to run because he is a huge lizard, he would take only enough food to tide him over on the journey to his destination. But if the men were to welcome him with open arms he would eat, socialize with the kind merchants and maybe stay the night. Then he would bid them farewell, and would carry on his journey.

You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?: Draxon would gladly join the ranks of the soldiers, archers, and common people. Hoping that maybe this act of self-less bravery would show the towns folk he anything but a monster.
