In your own Words, define what the act of Meta-Gaming is:Meta-Gaming is when someone uses an out-ward source such as AIM,Skype or TeamSpeak to benefit them in game.I.E

Your friend tells you a coordinates to someone base and then just running there would be meta-gaming.

In your own Words, define what the act of Power-Gaming is:Power gaming is doing things that cant be done by the character. I.E The dwarf punches the orc 50 times then handcuffs him.

The dwarf is wrong because he did not give the orc time to respond.

What do you expect this server will be like?::I reckon it will be lawful without people with mutual respect for people.

Biography (Please make this at least 2 paragraphs long. This must include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.):You want to hear my story? My story is a story is not as interesting as you think ma'am or sir. Im not one of those shabby elves who's parents are dead or grew up with a bad childhood. I had a great one. I was born into the High Elf Bloodline. My parents are still alive and kicking. I was born in Malinor on the nigh of Malin's Year.

I have platinum hair,long pointy ears and a golden tint to my fair skin as my mom would say as she would point out when she bathed me when I was a younger child. My parents never let me leave the forest and i would always have to stay in the holy tree.''Its to dangerous for a young-ling like you''She would say.

Even though I was a high elf. I was not as snobby as the others. I actually had a wood elf who was my best friend. His name was Legino but he left to explore the world of Asulon. I secretly Envied him as I was not even allowed to step foot out of Elandriel. My papa who is also a high elf was an adventurer in his youth but he met my mum and settled down in Malinor to start a family. He was a master swordsman but he put down the blade to concentrate on the finer things. He would take time out of his schedule to teach me what he knew,and because of that I became well skilled with swords myself.

My mum always picked out what I would wear but we decided on one outfit.

My outfit was a black with a white trim robe which covered my face most of the times. Enough of me Now. Lets go to the present.

I was on the top of the holy tree in Malinor. I stare out into the distance. My mum voice still ringing in my ears since she told me when I was younger. ''It's to dangerous for a young-ling like you''.

I jumped off the tree top and scaled to the bottom. I travelled back to my bedroom and picked my sword my dad gave me to practice with. I sheathed it and sauntered over to the river where my mother would wade. ''Mum,I cannot stay,I want to go on an adventure!'' My mum waded out of the water and spoke calmly holding my cheek ''It's to dangerous Anakulos,What if your killed'' My mum had a look of innocence on her face.

''I want my freedom Mum!'' I shouted. I never shout but I don't know why I did. I wanted to prove a point.''But are you willing to pay the price of what your freedom will cost?'' I stood my ground and nodded. My mother smiled. ''Oh,You were always a stubborn child....You have my blessings. I will tell your father when I meet him again'' She kissed me fore head and said ''Go my son, Adventure the world of Asulon. Who knows maybe you will meet legino on your journey''. I nodded and turned around taking my last glance at the forest and sprinted out of the large forest of Malinor and into adventure. The world of Asulon awaited me.

Open-Response-Questions

Whilst traveling from the Cloud Temple you see a small halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond?Anakulos would pick up a rock and throw it at the tallest brute.The brutes distracted by the rock turns around and sees Anakin. The half-ling runs away at this time. The brutes charge at at Anakin but he jumped on the tree nearest to him and hopped away on the branches.

Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response?''Sir!,Bring me a bottle of your finest ale!''The merchant nods and turns around to his dusty fridge full of various beverages and spirits. He hands me a shiny bottle and I exchange with him a pouch of gold coins.

Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?:Anakulos enters the home takes refuge in there for the night. He notices the chest and leaves it be as he is not a thief. He puts a few coins into the chest for his stay and is continues on his journey.

Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you you in the common tongue, how do you respond?'Hail'' Anakulos replied to them. I would like to work here to buy some supplies and continue my journey. The camp leader converses with AnakULOS and bestows on him a job as task monger. Anakulos works normally for several weeks and when his pouch became full. He thanked the leader and purchased supplies from his stall. He said his good byes and continued on his journey

You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?:Anakulos remembers his fear and declines the offer. He spares a few iron bars and minas for their troubles. Anakulos apologizes once more and continues on his journey.

I am very sorry, but your application has been moved to the denied section of the forums. There are numerous reasons for this, all of which I have included in my feedback below this message. In the mean time there is an abundant source of information, stories, guides and other helpful tips to get you on your way to being accepted; all you need to do is look around. I would suggest the lord of the craft wiki and application submissions section of the forums to start off your little quest to make the best application. Good luck!

The reasons that I have denied you are:

your definition of roleplaying is not entirely correct.

While roleplaying is acting in a sense I would not say that it is acting. It is quite a lot more than that, so I would like you to do a bit of research on the subject and then re-write your definition.

Your definition of power-gaming is incorrect.

Power gaming is doing things that cant be done by the character.

Wrong

The dwarf is wrong because he did not give the orc time to respond.

Not so wrong. Perhaps this can be the basis of further research? Can I hint you towards the Lord of the Craft wiki? Who knows. ;)

Your biography has errors.

You need to complete the entire biography, detailing all your characters history, age, personality and description. We also like to see little role-play quirks such as habits like the constant brushing back of a fringe, or the scratching of an itchy palm.

Your ambitions are underdeveloped.

You need to show some advanced thought processes. What would your character like to do in the near and distant futures? What is your character planning? You also need to justify your decisions. Why does your character want to do this? Things such as planning to kill all bandits, orcs, humans etc. are unacceptable ambitions as this would require a villainous activity.

Your answers to the favourite tool/best skill questions are underdeveloped.

You need to justify why you have chosen the choices you have. It is all well and good that your character can run really fast, or is light on their feet; but why?

Some or all of your answers to the Open Response questions need a lot of improvement.

Instead of describing what your character would do, you need to assume that your character is in the situation and acting as they would in that situation. You need to describe a scene of RP. This means that you cannot write “If this happens, then my character would do that.” As this shows that you are not Roleplaying, you are answering the question from what you think that your character might do. You need to show us that you know who your character is, you know what the situation is and you know how your character is going to react.

This also means that you need to write in full RP. For example:

Josh talks to the shopkeeper, buys a few apples, pays the shop keeper and leaves. X BAD

Josh walks up to the man standing behind the rough oaken market stand. The sounds of a busy market can be heard all around him. An annoying fly buzzes around his head, so he absent-mindedly begins to inefficiently swat it away. “Ah, greetings shopkeeper! I was just browsing your wares.” The shopkeeper nods at Josh and then turns towards another customer to attempt to assist them the way all market shopkeepers must. Suddenly Josh felt a slight tugging sensation on his belt. He was about to brush it off as nothing, perhaps just someone bumping into him until he realised his belt was slightly lighter. He noticed a man beginning to run off in the opposite direction of himself. He glanced down to see that his coin purse was missing. He put two and two together and then shouted at the top of his lungs. “STOP THEIF!”… √ GOOD!
