How old are you?

I am 15 years old.

Time-Zone/Country of Residence: Eastern timezone. Newmarket,ON,Canada

Do you have a good grip on the English language/good grammar?:

I like to think I do, mainly because I take enriched English classes at my high school, and generally read books whenever I can. So yes, I do.

Small 2-3 Sentence Description of yourself:

I am an honour roll student of Newmarket, ON Canada, and I am involved in many out of school programs such as biathlon, marksmanship and cross-country skiing. I absolutely love reading, mostly fantasy books, like the Game Of Thrones series by George R.R. Martin, and enjoy fantasy television shows as well. I purchased Minecraft in October 2011, and I have loved it ever since .

How much time could you be on the server weekly?:

I spend about 3-4 hours a day on Minecraft, but that’s on regular servers. I’m guessing I would play about 4-5 hours a day on LoTC, perhaps 6 daily on weekends.

What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you.: Role-playing is when you drop the life you have come to know, and pick up one of someone or something else. This means staying in character at all time, and not using any of your previous knowledge in your new life. You must look through the eyes of your chosen identity, and start off fresh as said person.

What experience do you have in roleplaying, if any?: I haven`t played many rp games other a little bit of WoW, if that counts. But i love fantasy books that seem to have a lot of connected lore and history with Asulon, like the fictitious land of the seven kingdoms, in A Song of Ice and fire books by George R.R Martin.

In your own Words, describe what Metagaming and Powergaming are.

Metagaming is when you use knowledge that your chosen or assigned player in the game does not have, and/or has no way of knowing such things. Example: You log into the server. You see *Jimbo was slayed by Lord_Bobby* and then you shout “Good kill Lord_Bobby!!”This would be Metagaming, because if you were really your character, you would never know that Jimbo was killed, unless you saw it. Another example of Metagaming; if you walk up to someone and do shift-click to see their name and bio and such, and then call them by their name. That would be Metagaming, because once again, your character would not be able to learn another’s name simply by pressing shift-click.

PowerGaming is when you play an RP game, and give yourself some ability or special background that no one can have a counter to. Let’s say you’re hiding in the bush, and when you see a person walking by. You put them in a headlock and slit they’re throat, Leaving them no chance to respond, and giving them no counter. This would be PowerGaming. Another example would be if you are writing the Biography on your application, and you put yourself down as the ‘King of Asulon’, or write down that you are invincible because your father was a god, that would be powergaming, for no one can counter it. To round it up, powergaming is when you do an action in RP that the other guy cannot stop.

What do you expect this server will be like?: I expect it will have the regular feel of Minecraft, with a more organized, mature tint. It will have the basics of the Minecraft you’re used to, but will be much more interactive, and will have a much greater maturity level than other servers, because of all the tasks you must complete to gain entrance to the server.

What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?:

I have played on SupremServer, a survival based server, but went terribly corrupt when the Administrators started banning each other, and some lesser players. I also played on Multiverse, another survival game server, but it was so full of bugs that I had to leave because I would lose all my items due to crashes.

Have you read, understood, and agreed to the rules?:

Yes, I have.

Do you promise to abide by those rules? This includes teamspeak, server and forum rules/laws?: Yes, I do

How did you hear about us?:

http://www.gamefront.com/top-10-best-minecraft-servers/

Have you voted for the Lord of the Craft on Minestatus? Which vote number were you?: Yes I have. Vote # 690

What is your The Lord Of Craft forum account name?:narcoleptic_cat

Have you applied for the server before? If you have, please share a link to it here: Yes I have. Here is the link: http://www.lordofthecraft.net/forum/index.php?/topic/49621-rheagar-stormborn-server-application/

(In Character Section)

Character Name:

Rheagar Woodsong

What is your Race?: Elf

Sub-Race:High Elf

Rheagar Woodsong was born in Normandor, son to Erik Woodsong and Illana Leith. Rheagar had always been interested in books, literature, but more than anything, war craft. He read every book there is on war tactics and they great battles of his ancestors. He often stole money from merchants and from the city guards to pay for archery and swordsmanship lessons with the local master of arms. As he was an only child, he often went around the village, making new friends with the children from the traveling merchants, but would lose his friends every time because their parents would move away. This made Rheagar quite anti-social.

When Rheagar was 14 years old, his mother became very sick, and his father was depressed. Rheagar meant to bring back a potion from a doctor deep in the forest, but was halfway back when a group of orcs kidnapped him and stole his potion. When the orcs finally released him, his mother had died, and his father had taken his own life. Rheagar was left to die on the streets, and soon kicked out of the city because of all the things he has stealed.

Rheagar had no choice but to live in the wild. He was physically fit, and had read many books on survival and bush craft. Not to mention he was an elf, so he knew a little about the woods anyway. But as Normandor expanded in size and population, the wildlife and game was becoming more difficult to kill. When he was on the brink of starvation, he came across a group of hunters called the free-folk. The free-folk took him in, fed him, and raised him as if they were his parents. This band of free-folk were mostly consisted of elves, and some men.

He lived with them until he was 17 years old, when he set off on his own to live his own life, hunting and traveling until he finds his rightful place, preferably with his people. Rheagar developed a passion for elven politics, and wants to be heard by his people to help stop the crimes of the unruly, like what happened to him in the past. Rheagar tends to avoid meeting many new people, he is socially awkward because of his bad memories of his childhood friends. Rheagar fights very poorly in hand to hand combat, and lacks any hope of farming, or being a vendor. He angers easily, as did his father, and often strikes out against those who mock or threaten him, making him usually an outcast in society. Rheagar tries to be more friendly, but it is in his blood to be hot-headed. This genetic temper problem does not stop his dream of being in the elven high-council.

Your characters ambitions: To perhaps one day become a member of the elven high council, and put his intelligence and knowledge of war craft to good use for his people.

Your character's favorite tool?: The sword. Although elves are known to prefer bows, Rheagar has always felt more comfortable with a sword in hand, rather than a flimsy bow.

What is your character's most skilled talent?: Survival. Rheagar can live in wilderness.

In-Character Scenarios

Out in the Wilds, your character comes across a small cottage. Outside, there appears to be an elf struggling combat with two bandits. What does your character do? Visery immediately thinks of the loot. He finds a good vantage point, and waits to see the situation. He sees that the elf is armed with a bow and arrows, and is fending of the bandits with the side of his bow. However, the elf is losing his strength, and starts making mistakes. Rheagar also notices the gold around the bandit`s belt. That gold could buy me that new bow they're selling at the inn, Thought Rheagar, or maybe even some arrows, freshly forged heads would do me nicely...

He decides to help his fellow race out. He whistles at the group of fighters, and quickly strings an arrow, and looses it in one of the bandit’s eye. Suprisingly, the shot bandit is still alive, but quickly passes out from shock and blood loss. The second bandit, apparently unaware that his friend had fallen, goes after Rheagar, but is stabbed in the back by the elf previously under attack. The elf is about to thank the mystery savior, but he was gone, and so was all the gold around the bandit`s belt.

Your character walks up to a shop in the middle of Al'Khazar. "Hello, my good sir!" says the shop owner. "What may I help you with today?" How does your character answer?

``I need 75 gilded arrows`` responded Rheagar gruffly. ‘And make it quick` he added as he slammed the gold on the table top.

`Ì only serve who I please, elf``

Rheagar draws an arrow and strings his bow.

`what are you doing!?’ shouted the shop owner hoarsely ‘Put those away!’

‘I don’t want no trouble old man’ Give me the arrows and I’ll be on my way.

The shop owner hurried to retrieve the arrows and handed them to Rheagar.

'You know, I wont be serving you again, I have orc friends you know!'

'Orcs don't scare me. Never have, never will' replied Rheagar, clearly getting annoyed with this useless waste of meat and blood.

'We'll see about that, foolish elf, we'll see when they come hunting for 'ya''

'Spare your threats for someone who cares, old man' And with that, Rheagar was off into the tress.

Whilst traveling from the Cloud Temple you see a small halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond?: Rheagar immediately notices the orcs.

“Bugger off you filthy orcs, clearly someone is trying to enjoy their day’

‘Did we’ ak for yoor ‘pinion, elf?’ shouted back the biggest orc.

‘I suggest you leave now orcum, or you’ll be sorry’ responded Rheagar.

‘HA’ ‘you puny elf, Me like to see Yoo try!’

Before the Orc could quite finish his remark, an arrow was already lodged in his foot. This sent the orc to his knees. The smaller orc had already ran, abandoning his brother.

Rheagar was ready to help the Halfling up when the orc chucked a rock at his back.

‘We be ‘Findin yoo elf!’ yelled the orc.

'Be gone with you orcs!`yelled the halfling. Rheagar was quite surprised to see he could walk, he was bruised and injured so badly.

The halfling runs towards the orc, arms flailing, screaming, and the orc was so terrified by his courage he bolted immediately.

You might be a short little man, but no one can call you cowardly, that's for certain.

The two men followed the path to the local inn, where they shared meat and mead, some stories, and parted ways.

Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behindwhich a well dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your characters response?

‘No, I don’t need anything’ replied Rheagar

‘Well maybe I could fix you up for some fresh baked bread? Perhaps some cooked pork? They’re the freshest in town!’

‘Perhaps you didn’t hear me, old man, I don’t need anything’

‘Certainly it couldent hurt to have some extra food for the road, traveller’

Rheagar could’t take it. He strung an arrow and shot it right past the merchants head, sending him running back behind a stall. "I said, NO"

"As you wish, good sir, but please, I have children and grandchildren besides, please take whatever you want, but don't hurt me!"

"I'll have none of your useless items, I find my own way in this world, so stay out of it"

"As you wish" Said the merchant as he knelt before Rheagar

Rheagar smiles "Stupid man, you kneel before any man who threatens your pathetic life. I'll have none of it."

The merchant, being too scared to raise his sight untill he is certain Rheagar is gone, mutters a silent prayer to his gods. when he rose, Rheagar was gone.

You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on the situation?

‘I’ll take care of it, give me 10 good men, and we’ll take ‘em out’

“Right then” replied the leader.”Harrow! Tom! Gather your men! Yer’ under the command of this here elf now”

“I don’t server no elvish folk”

“Well now you do, so shut your fat mouth! HAR!”

Rheagar smirked, he wasn’t much of a humorous elf, but never minded making jokes at other’s expense.

Rheagar chose 10 of the guards and set out down the road. He was surprised to see that there were only 4 of them, and they drew swords the moment they saw the guards.

‘Brave little ones aren’t you’ shouted Rheagar ‘We outnumber you more than 2 to one, you have no chance’

At that, the bandits broke off, Rheagar returned to camp, collected his pay, and left without a word.

A screenshot of your skin: It is saved as an attachment :)

Other Information: I did my best to adhere to the problems in my 1st application, I Hope I am accepted on to the sever! Also, my skin has elven ears but you can't see them because of the angle.
