Do you have a good grip on the English language/good grammar?: Yes, I do believe I have a reasonable grasp of our fair english language.

Small 2-3 Sentence Description of yourself: I play video games a lot, but I also enjoy sports such as cricket. I love minecraft and I have been searching for a good roleplaying server for weeks.

How much time could you be on the server weekly?: It depends on how muck homework I get. I would say about 10-30 hours.

What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you: Roleplaying is imagining that you are a character you have created. Effectively, your character is another version of yourself. Your character is controlled by you, but has none of your knowledge or skills.

What experience have you had in Roleplaying, if any?: I've played several roleplay games such as skyrim and have always enjoyed it very much. Other Than that I have no real roleplaying experience.

In your own Words, define what the act of Meta-Gaming is: Metagaming is when you information you learned out of character and apply it in character. For example, if I met someone on the forums then saw them on the server, and called their character by name, without my character being told what his name was. It might also be seeing a nametag above someone’s head. My character would not see that!

In your own Words, define what the act of Power-Gaming is: Powergaming is forcing an action on another player that he or she may not want to do. For example if I was going into combat and I emoted *Chops off his oponents head* it would be powergaming. Like metagaming , powergaming ruins the roleplaying experience for everybody.

What do you expect this server will be like?: I think the server will be an exciting and enjoyable roleplay experience, free from powergaming and metagaming.

What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?: I have played on Shadowraze and Blood Of Heroes. I left both of them mostly because of spammers , griefers and staff who were never on and didn’t help when they were.

Have you read, understood, and agreed to the rules?: I have read them and wholeheartedly agree.

How did you hear about us?: One of my schoolfreind was talking about the server and I immediately wanted to join.

Character Name: Torias Diamond-Pick

What Race are you?: I'm an ‘onest, ‘ardworking, dwarf.

What Sub-Race are you? (note, you aren’t required to have a sub-race): I’m a dwarf ,through and through, no sub-race

Biography (Please make this at least 2 paragraphs long. This must include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.): So you want to listen to and ol’ dwarf’s tale do ya’. Well I was born into a poor family. From an early age I had to hunt ih I wanted to eat. Got pretty good at it too! Wasn’t long before my family was makin’ money from the extra meat I brought in. Those were good days.

My life was goin’ well ‘til I began to hear rumors of bandits in the forest near our village. It was then I decided that I needed a more substantial weapon. That was when I got my first axe. I practiced with that axe for hours on end. Good thing I did too, for one day when I was out hunting I was attacked by a bandit. I showed his neck the blade of my axe, but not before he took my eye. But that wasn’t the worst part. No , the worst part was that when I got home ,my village had been ransacked and all my family was dead.

Ever since then I’ve been wandering,trying to earn enough gold to buy my way into the easy life. I tell you, I’m no closer to achieving that than I was all those years ago. I’ve changed much in my 400 years. My missing eye healed over and the socket turned gray. My red beard just kept growing longer and the only armour I could afford was a leather strap acroos my chest. The only thing I ever really wanted was to settle down and own a prospering mine.

What is your Character's ambitions?: He wants to settle down and own a mine, so that he will not have to hunt for food or do odd jobs for gold.

What is your character’s favorite tool? (sword, pickaxe, shovel, etc): Well now, that’s tricky’ . I’m very fond of my bow, but my favourite tool would have to be my trusty axe.

What is one of your Character's most skilled talents? He can hunt well and can also fight very well with his axe.

Other Information about your Character: Because of his past, he has always been kind to the poor and had a grudge against bandits.

Open-Response-Questions

Whilst traveling from the Cloud Temple you see a small halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond? He would charge right in eager to help the halfling and rid the world of bandits. After killing the bandits he would say to the halfling “Come along. Tell me where you live , and ill take you home.”

Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response? He would say “ Ah this looks like the stall I need, tell me how much is your finest axe. That much! That’s ridiculous! I guess I’ll just have to go somewhere else then.”

Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?: “ I really want that gear” He’d think to himself “ But it probably belongs to someone. Better not take it.” Then he would take rest and shelter in the hut for the night.

Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you you in the common tongue, how do you respond? “Hello their! What a splendid camp this is. Tell me , do you have anything in the way of axes or hunting supplies? I’m willing to pay.”

You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?: “ I would welcome the chance to kill bandits” he would say “ Take me with you, and we’ll show those bandits never to come near this town again!”
