Out Of Character:

Minecraft Account Name:

BoxOfDOG

How old are you?:

15

Time-Zone/Country of Residence:

PST - Pacific Standard Time

Do you have a good grip on the English language/good grammar?:

I do, I have a large vocabulary and type fast. So I might slip up on my grammar a bit.

Small 2-3 Sentence Description of yourself:

I am 15 years old. I am a gamer, athlete and artist. I spent a lot of my time on the computer skinning on Planet Minecraft and going on Minecraft servers, as well applying for them. I have a good work ethic, so I do what I have to do, when I have to do it.

How much time could you be on the server weekly?:

About 20-40 hours.

What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you:

For me, Roleplaying is the act of using your imagination to come up with patterns, such as story lines and manipulate your own characters actions and words. It is constantly thinking of what to come up with next, following along a short or extended story line that you, or other people have come up with for you.

What experience have you had in Roleplaying, if any?:

I have gone into several Minecraft RP servers, and participated in text base adventures. I have played the "Questions Game" a game with several people, and a narrator, the narrator is the person who comes up with story, the people are the characters.

In your own Words, define what the act of Meta-Gaming is:

Meta-Gaming is the act of using information that your character is not supposed to have. It is external information that would be impossible for your character to get, unless from another character within the game. For example; You are playing in a game convention on an RP Server of Minecraft with many other people in the room, and you are trying to track someone down to assassinate them. Someone next to you tells you this person is somewhere north. This is external, unfair information that would be impossible for your character to get.

In your own Words, define what the act of Power-Gaming is:

Power-gaming is when someone forces another player into a fight, or situation they did not agree to being in. Lets say there are two players in a PvP area where the rules are "Not to attack unless agreed to", but one of the players attacks the other one without any agreement or making it aware that they are attacking.

What do you expect this server will be like?:

A large and immersing environment full of characters, and keeping out of RP chat to a bare minimum.

What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?:

I have played on RPGCraft, a server full of some great people, and lots of players. But very low on any RPing, so I decided to leave it since they only focused on chit-chat and actions outside of the RP aspect.

Have you read, understood, and agreed to the rules?:

Yes.

Do you promise to abide by said rules, and laws? This includes the Server, Forum, and Teamspeak set Rules:

I do.

How did you hear about us?:

I was searching servers on the website Planet Minecraft, and found this one to be the better put together one.

Have you previously made an Application? If so could you link us to your last Application?:

I have not made a previous application.

Have you posted this application on our minecraft forum thread yet? If not, just finish it up on here and then copy + paste is over there.

Yes, I have. Posted with the username "BoxOfDOG" http://tinyurl.com/7gltpuq (Edit: Used tiny url to shorten link)

Fengric was born with the holy power only possessed by divine knights. He was raised in a very religious village and had always dreamed of becoming a Cleric, a holy knight of the kingdom. His father was a Cleric, and died in the current war, that was then unexpected. Fengric's determination to make it so that his father would not die in vain continues to this day, as a young trainee in the kingdom at the age of 23.

When he was at the age of 12, the kingdom took him away for training to become a knight. Fengric didn't want this to happen, he believed the knights to be fools, and arrogant, he wanted to be a Cleric; the highest holy rank of men.

He had aged to 15, and was betrayed by a Baron he served under, and was put to the front lines. He saw death, and destruction against Orcs, and saw many of his friends he grew to know for years, die before his eyes. Fengric was scarred from the injuries and suffering of man, and almost felt he must never go back. Once he was forced to go back to the kingdom by one of his superiors for more training, those thoughts faded and continued his quest to reach the rank of Cleric.

Present day, he is only days away from becoming a Cleric and going on his journey to redeem himself before the kingdom, and his father. What will happen next is all in his hands...

Other Information about your Character:

Fengric has the same vivid blue eyes and bright blond from his mother, and the divine magic of his father. His mother would tell him stories of his father "Your power was passed down for generations, from grandfather, your father, and you." Fengric was young and didn't know what it meant to be a divine knight, and does not know what the message his father sent him before his father died meant "One day, you will know what it means to be named after your father". One day, he might know what this means.

Open-Response-Questions

Whilst traveling from the Cloud Temple you see a small halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond?

"Get away from him, thieves!" Fengric yells. One of the broad barbarians notices him, and stands upright from the halfling "Mind your own business, little prat." Fengric scowls at this remark, and draws his sword "I said, get away from him" he said firmly. The man drew his large, heavy looking sword from his hilt and walks towards him, becoming more towering every step. He heaves his huge sword, and remarkably speedily slices his sword towards him, Fengric dodges it and uses his magic to burn the handle of the mans sword. The warrior yelps and calls for his friend. The other warrior, after trying to catch the that was now halfling running into his home, stands up and walks towards Fengric as well, though more stout, he looked rather strong as well.

The large warrior talked a deep grouchy voice "What is it Aloor" he said, "This little prat is trying to keep us from our business here." Fengric wasn't fond of standing there waiting for these brutes to ramble on. He takes a swipe at the stout warriors hand and slices off several fingers "AHH!!!" he screams, the other brute takes an angry swipe at Fengric's stomach with wrong side of the sword, Fengric flies into a nearby tree bleeds severely from his mouth. He stands up and says "That.. wasn't very.. kind" trembling at every word. He takes his hand and puts it on his stomach, and a glowing light shines from his hand, suddenly Fengric appears to look fine. Fengric charges at both of them, jumping behind the screaming warrior, and driving a sword straight through the mans back. The other warrior screamed with rage, and knocked Fengric straight to the ground. He got up and pointed the sword at the now terrified warrior.

The warrior dropped his sword and it clanged on the ground, he got on his knees trembling "Please, just.. Don't kill me.." He looked at this hand, and saw a ring "What is that ring? On your finger?" the warrior was trembling more than ever, he said "It's my wedding ring.. I have a wife.. Bertha" his voice had a calming tone to it once he said his wife's name. Fengric lowered his sword, blood flowing from the top of his head "Go.. Before I change my mind". The warrior got up, and ran down the trail.

Fengric noticed the halfling watching through his window, the little hobbit walked out through his door and said "Th.. Thank you sir!" in a squeaky voice "I thought I was.. Going.. Going to die sir.." Fengric saw a satchel of money attached to the dead warriors belt, Fengric picked it up and gave it to the halfling "Here, take this back." The little hobbit looked up at him after searching through the bag "This is almost 10 times the amount I had sir! It's full of gold!" He opened the bag and gold shimmered inside, Fengric grinned at the hobbit and said "Take it, you need it more than I do right now" in a soft voice. The hobbit made a broad smile and hobbled back into his home with the gold, but leaving a large sum with Fengric.

Thus Fengric continues his journey of a lifetime..

"Hello, I am looking for a sword, I am willing to trade with mine here." He took his battered and bloodied sword and put it on the counter, the merchant picks it up and examines it as if it were made of glass "A very fine weapon we 'ave 'ere" He looked at it brightly "Fit for a nice young laddy like yourself.." Fengric looked around at the mans shop, and found nothing of interest to him "Do you have anyway to repair it?" The merchant looked at him with a gold toothed smile "Sure m'lad.." He took the sword and went to the back, Fengric heard muffled voices in the back "Ernie, we have a.. 'ere... repair... sword" He heard a large grunt and some hammering moments later, the merchant came back minutes later with his sword "'Ere ya' go! Nice and fine for you." Fengric gave him a bit of gold and walked off with his shining silver sword.

Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?:

He walked over in a greeting manner and said "Hello travelers, may I join you? I have been traveling for days, and wish to find sanctuary" "Welcome, boy! We would love to have you." Fengric sat down with them, and the rest of the night was full of joy and dancing.

Though Fengric is a curious one, so he decides to examine these bandits to make sure the guard doesn't do anything rash. During the night several hours before the ambush, Fengric moves swiftly through the darkness to the supposed bandit camp. When he made it there, the camp of empty. He moves back along the road and sees a large amount of men walking towards the town, armed with sabers and maces. Fengric ran back to the town and alerted the guard, offering to help in this situation, he leads the attack against the bandits. The next morning, after they had stopped the bandit attack, the leader of the guard gave him a large amount of money for his work, and the leader went on his way.
