When game information outside of what is available in a game is used to give a player an advantage in-game. Most commonly seen and frowned upon in many forms of role playing especially when consent has not been given.

EXAMPLE my friend on Skype tells me that the orcs are going to kill me in the market so I bring 10 guards in diamond amour to protect me

This Meta gaming because I would not brought the guards if my friend didn't tell me on Skype

People who Power game usually RolePlay's things which may be impossible to do, leaving the other player no chance to fight back. Powergaming people usually focus most on his own character.

Here's just a little example of someone Powergaming, let's say the Powergamers name will be... John_Wollie.

: I was a drunk . I spent all my money on drink and women until there was nothing left ,so I begged on the streets . Then one day I saw a man beating up a woman and I went to help.. but he bet the hell out of me nearly killing me . When I woke up I found the girl was dead next to me.I then ran for my live because the guards would suspect that it was me who had killed her . I than went to whinterfell to become a guard and protect against the undead there because I needed money and to get fit but I never forgot the woman I could not save .

After that day I started a new ,I got back into shape and got off the streets and started trading .Now I know that I if I had been fand when I left it fell to the undead . So I set of a tall ,brown haired man going on a quest to become something great .Then one night I had a vision , in it was the young girl that I could not save , she said “The end is near ,you must raise an army to stop a treat that once destroyed the world .You must stop

Whilst traveling from the Cloud Temple you see a small Halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond?

Cian shouts a thugs " hey why don't you pick on some one yer own size f*&kers" *throwing a rock at them *bandits run at cian**he runs away Halfling runs away. *cian goes in building * cian knells

Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?"

*cian checks out some fruit and veg than sees a nice bow and asks "how much for the bow "100 minas " "that’s a bit steep but it look like fine craftsmanship so il go ahead" *cian goes to his pocket but finds a guy trying to steal my mina"thief"*cian shouts* *Cian takes bow and shoots at the thief * thief falls on the ground with an arrow in his head .cian says to trader "I hope you had nothing to with this and the bow isn’t that good" .

You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them.
