I am a bit of an adventurer and enjoy rock climbing and other out door activities. I spend my free time playing video games, recently just minecraft and skyrim.

How much time could you be on the server weekly?:

Currently I could put in about 6 to 8 hours but during the summer when schools out I could put in 9 to 12.

What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you:

Roleplaying is the act of being something or someone that in reality you are not it is the act of believing you are something but consciously knowing you are not really there and applying yourself like you were actually that thing or person.

What experience have you had in Roleplaying, if any?:

I have not had too much of experience at Roleplaying in a minecraft community or other video games unless playing mid-evil fantasy games such as skyrim and runescape count.

In your own Words, define what the act of Meta-Gaming is:

Meta-gaming is the act of using knowledge that you have that your in game character should not know. This may ruin or take the fun out of the game spoiling it or making it not fun for others and possibly you.

In your own Words, define what the act of Power-Gaming is:

Power-gaming is the act of forcing other players to do things that they may not want to do taking the game out of there control. It is like trying to be more powerful than you should be or using the power that you do have to be like a tyrant or dictator.

What do you expect this server will be like?:

I expect this server to be a fun role playing server with a friendly community that plays fairly.

What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?:

Sadly I have played on none but I am expecting this one to be fun and worth my time.

Biography (Please make this at least 2 paragraphs long. This must include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.):

Toleyeus was raised in a tree home in the city of Normandor by his mother and father. His parents owned a nearby alchemy shop just out side of the city. He grew up an average citizen of Normandor never rich never poor never hungry never full. His mother taught him her extensive knowledge of potions, and his father trained him in sword fighting. He is rather hard to get along with, he prefers to keep more of a shadowy lone wolf status in places he is unfamiliar with.

A few moons before Toleyeus was mature of age his parents went on a potions delivery to the island of Salvus. On the way to Salvus his parents ship hit a large rock in the ocean and sunk, there were no known survivors of the wreck. When Toleyeus heard this information he went into a quiet state of existence talking to no one and running the alchemy shop that was left to him. After a few weeks he decided to close the place and went off on his own.

He now wanders around Asulon searching for a place to make his home in. He doesn't stay in one place for more than a few days at a time and is very choosey about the people he befriends on his journeys. He enjoys taking on different tasks for people in the town he is staying in at the time and rather than money he prefers to be rewarded with things and resources (He prefers this because it helps him avoid shopping which can take time that could be spent doing something else.) Toleyeus has dark purple skin, ice blue eyes, and pale blue/white hair.

What is your Character's ambitions?:

To find a place to call home that is comfortable and has people that accept him.

What is your character’s favorite tool? (sword, pickaxe, shovel, etc):

His sword.

What is one of your Character's most skilled talents?

His sword fighting, alchemy, and stealth

Other Information about your Character:

Toleyeus is afraid of boats, does not like eating pork chops, and when he is comfortable with the people he is in the presence of has a good sense of humor.

Open-Response-Questions

Whilst traveling from the Cloud Temple you see a small halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond?

This is what would happen:

- Toleyeus walks up to the guard and says -

"why are you beating up on this little halfling it is not that much money to be harrasing him over"

Guard 1 "this young chap stole this money from the alchemy shop from down the street"

_ Toleyeus having grown up in an alchemy shop his own life says to the halfling -

"did you do this?"

Halfling "yes but I desperately needed it my family has starved the last week"

Toleyeus -being angry but understanding to the halfling takes the money from the halfling and walks down the street to the alchemy shop giving it to the old lady that owns it and returns to the hafling and guards-

"here is some bread for your family don't steal next time"

-takes 5 loaves of bread out of his pocket and hands them to the halfling-

Halfling -runs off thanking him-

Guard 1 and 2 "thank you very much here is a token of our appreciation"

-they hand toleyeus some apples-

Toleyeus -leaves to be on his way to the inn in the city-

Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response?

Toleyeus not being fond of shopping would act like he hadn't heard the merchant and left as soon as possible.

Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?:

Seeing that there was no food in the chest (his one needed resource) he would not take the items but instead sleep in the small hut for the night because he needs a place to rest after his long night of travels.

Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you you in the common tongue, how do you respond?

Seeing that the traders were friendly he would say "hello there I am in need of some resources and have some potions I am willing to trade for them is there anyone who has food and water they are willing to trade?"

You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?:

Needing supplies rather than money I would deny their request and walk away. As soon as I was out of sight of the guards I would make a beeline for the bandits camp and kill them all. I would take the things I need from the bandit camp and be on my way before the guards got there and found all the dead bodies.

Your definition of power-gaming isn't very clear at all, and I am inclined to say it is incorrect. Please research it a bit more.

Your biography only includes two lore related places, please add in a bit more lore related tid bits. I also am left feeling slightly confused about who your character is, and what sets him apart from other characters.

Expand upon your ambition. it's somewhat cliche'.

Why is his sword his favorite tool? Elaborate, where did he pick up the talent to use it? And for what purpose?

Where did he learn stealth?

Your open response questions are far too short, please expand upon these. They are there to give you the opportunity to show off your mettle as a roleplayer and give us, the application team, the first taste of your character and how you are going to play him. Please don't get lazy! Allow for realistic outcomes, and don't be afraid to get more creative!
