Greyroot

When I had an alchemist character back in Aegis, I RPed mixing the various plants to make the potions that the alchemist would make. One plant I had which I made frequent use of is Greyroot. It's detailed here, and what it does. It's a small piece of lore but if it's widely accepted it could be quite useful.

Greyroot is small plant found in Asulon and Aegis. It is found in forested areas. It looks like a small blue flower with crimson thorns, but when pulled from the ground it has thick grey roots. When crushed and boiled, a clear, unpleasant tasting liquid is formed. This liquid is called Greyroot fluid. The liquid is both harmless and useless by itself, but when brought into physical contact with anything (or anyone) magical or enchanted, it briefly fizzes, catches alight and then explodes. The explosion is nowhere near powerful enough for military applications. Greyroot fluid is primarily used to detect magic, or doing unpleasant things to mages when their drink is spiked with it.
