[[ It's quite difficult. You need to be noticed by guild members, and referred too to the rest of the guild. For more information check this link: The Mage's Guild ]]

(( The Mages Guild is not the sole course towards magical prowess. Cataris has become more or less neutral, and is training mages to capture other mages whom abuse their power, or to hunt Mage hunters.

While there is a great bit if mistique and wonder about the Mage's Guild, many will tell you there are more interesting ways to go about learning legitimate magic. The Guild is strict and does not desire to take any chances or make any risks. That is it's nature, and it's excellent roleplay I think. However, the way the Guild is acting, it is not helping concentrate and regulate magic by banishing and condemning others. That is why Cataris is making this group, to actually help regulate magic by going after mages whom abuse their power.))

((interesting. Thanks for all the tips. Since I'm not very well know IC or OOC I probably won't get the attention of the Mage's Guild. I'll probably try to contact Cataris OOCly to chat a bit. I'll most likely learn from him.))

(well yes it is hard to join but it is good roleplay as you will _legitlly_ learn magic from trained masters of the art. not saying cataris is but he is in his own way teaching rouge mages. the reason we are strict is to only get responsible good roleplayers and with the new magic app comming out every mage will have to have a rp reasona nd training in magic

((But the main point I made was that the Guild is in seclusion and very isolationist. That isn't very good for magical regulation on the server, which is what the Guild was made for.))

[[ As interesting this discussion is, this thread is not the ideal place to hold it. Perhaps we should return to the original topic. ]]
