Im giving 2GB for java. In game says it allocated only 950 but that is not true. It was using 1.5Gbs

right im using 2 gigs of ram.... on the lotc server i get 195+ 150 is lag for me

looool its not. you have a lot of stuff that can lag and is not FPS fault.

Since you are using a laptop you might get big FPS drops. Anyway The server lags very easily because is just too much people to minecraft, is not server fault.

Anyway unless you have a 120HZ refresh rate monitor you wont notice any difference on all above 60. Use fraps so you can see the FPS all the time XD Is what I do.

It does but you can get a free version. The diference is that you cant record with it that long. But see FPS is fine.
