Minecraft Account Name:Emisaurus

How old are you?:20

Time-Zone/Country of Residence:Texas, USA

Do you have a good grip on the English language/good grammar?: Very

Small 2-3 Sentence Description of yourself:I am a Game Design and Development Student here in Texas. I've been roleplaying for near on 7 years and a friend from my other Minecraft Server, FusionCraft, suggested I check this place out. Honestly I'm here to poke around, see what plugins you have, how your lore is set up, how the world is shaped and have some fun roleplaying.

How much time could you be on the server weekly?:I bounce between FusionCraft where I'm an Admin and The Old Republic, so it depends on my experiences here.

What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you:Roleplaying is the act of assuming the mentality of a character to narrate their story. Roleplaying however, is a community effort and not something can be driven on one's own.

What experience have you had in Roleplaying, if any?:World of Warcraft, Age of Conan, Guild Wars I, The Old Republic, Rift; Planes of Telara, and a little Minecraft.

In your own Words, define what the act of Meta-Gaming is:Meta-Gaming is the act of using information obtained out of character as information known by your character.

In your own Words, define what the act of Power-Gaming is:Power-Gaming is the act of roleplaying for another individual, in other words, making their actions for them as if you were playing their character as well.

What do you expect this server will be like?:I have no expectations, I like being surprised :).

What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?: FusionCraft, I've not left, but we don't Roleplay there.

Have you read, understood, and agreed to the rules?:Yes.

Do you promise to abide by said rules, and laws? This includes the Server, Forum, and Teamspeak set Rules: Yes.

How did you hear about us? Did someone refer you?: My friend JcCooperxx.

Have you previously made an Application? If so could you link us to your last Application?:No I have not.

Have you posted this application on our minecraft forum thread yet? If not, just finish it up on here and then copy + paste is over there. (http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/832121-%E2%96%91%E2%96%92%E2%96%93-the-lord-of-the-craft-%E2%96%93%E2%96%92%E2%96%91-enter-the-world-of-asulon-o-f-f-i-c-i-a-l-l-y-t-h-e-n-o-1-r-p-s-e-r-v-e-r/):Alright but I dont' see the reason behind it...

In-Character:

Character Name:Emilysa De'Torget

What Race are you?:Elf

What Sub-Race are you? (note, you aren’t required to have a sub-race):

High Elf (I'll be taking Wood Elf for the bonuses to Archery though)

Biography (Please make this at least 2 paragraphs long. This must include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.):

Growing up with her kin was hard for Emilysa, she was distant, a lone-wolf in the pack of children in her generation. She found comfort and enjoyment in the wilderness, and soon took up the bow of her father and began hunting.

When her mother perished, Emilysa disappeared from Malinor, not to the notice of hardly anyone, and became a wanderer, hunting, taming, gathering, was her life. But one day she came upon a human woman being accosted by bandits. The Bandits fled from the woman under a hail of arrows, and the woman never found a trace of her hero.

Emilysa is a high elf, however she hardly acknowledges or represents that heritage outside of her appearance. The 20 year old elf is a recluse, and a drifter, some could call her a thief, but she always leaves an equal or significantly greater possession in her wake if she can not pay in person, making her more of a forceful trader than anything. Emilysa has a streak of vigilante-esque behavior, often assisting where she is needed though her services when asked come at a price.

What is your Character's ambitions?:

Survival above all else, happiness can only be pursued if you're alive.

What is your character’s favorite tool? (sword, pickaxe, shovel, etc):

Bow and Arrows, and vines, lots of vines.

What is one of your Character's most skilled talents?

Archery, Farming.

A screenshot of your skin (must be in proper format):

Other Information about your Character:

Open-Response-Questions

Whilst traveling from the Cloud Temple you see a small halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond?

Continue passing, preserving my health is the main concern of mine; however, if a soldier or fellow were to pass by that would seem able to assist I would confront the two with even odds.

Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response?

I would begin bartering what I've collected from my hunting, preferably for arrows, seeds or Minas. The man has made no offence, I shall make none.

Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?:

Check the floor for recent activity, if finding no fresh traces of humanoids living there, collect the items and scout the area, claim the hut for the night if it's clear and continue on in the morning.

Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you you in the common tongue, how do you respond?

Ask for shelter for the night, possibly offer my services in exchange for food or equipment.

You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?:

I would ask what is known about the camp of criminals, if the odds were favorable I would volunteer my aid, if not I would politely decline, possibly shadowing the party from a safe distance to watch and aid if risk of injury was low.
