Ooc: Trip To The Nether

OOC: I was just wondering who went to the nether and if they died there or have died in asulon. If you know please reply.

The Nether was well known in Aegis and an integral part of the story. A number of people went there and survived. In moving the server to Asulon the Nether is no longer used. There are a few theories as to how it could be used again, but what actually happened in LoTC history cannot be undone, so most ideas to re-implement the Nether are proven unnecessary.

The Nether does not exist in Asulon and characters who speak of it are either talking about the Nether of Aegis or are playing with meta knowledge that such a place exists. You cannot go there as there is no place to go.

If you where to build a portal and step through it I am not sure what would happen. I would hope that the portals do not work to prevent resource farming.

I think he wants to know which people died in the Nether in the final battle of Aegis, and what nation they were from. I wish I could help, but I have no idea. I think Kjell Ireheart was the one who, pretty much, went full on beast mode and threw himself into the void with an axe or something.

I don't remember who died but from what I know only three champions made it to Drauchriem and returned alive (not counting the peeps who stayed around the Laurelin portal entrance). Correct me if I'm wrong but their names were Huron Silverblade Champion of Renatus(?), Pikel Boldshoulder Champion of Alras(??), and some champion called Arthur... he might be dead now I only heard his name once from Huron, who also might be dead.
