I am a High School Student, I love acting especially Improv. I love gaming and my favorite are RPG's and Sandbox games. I Always try to be kind and respectful, even if the person I am talking to isn't.

How much time could you be on the server weekly?:

I can't promise anything but, I will try to be on for a few hours every day. However the week after I make this application I will not be able to be on just to let you know.

What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you:

Roleplaying is taking on the persona of another person or character. You set aside your own emotions, morals, and even language and take on your characters when you are role playing. You basically become that person.

What experience have you had in Roleplaying, if any?:

I have played some RPG's and played in character but I also take drama and Improv classes. I have also been in a few plays.

In your own Words, define what the act of Meta-Gaming is:

Meta-Gaming is using knowledge you gained OOC to benefit yourself IC. For Example, me immediately going into a cave with the most powerful sword in the game in it to get the sword despite my character not knowing anything about it.

In your own Words, define what the act of Power-Gaming is:

Powergaming is when your character does something that is completely overpowered beyond their own skill or strength. Like if you decide your character should have a sword that kills anything with one hit. Also it can mean when one character forces another character to do something without letting them respond. Like if Mr.A sneaks up on Mr.B and assassinates him without saying anything.

What do you expect this server will be like?:

I expect a new experience from other MC Roleplaying servers, one of the most exiting things I'm expecting is the other players and how my character gets to interact with them.

What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?:

I've played on Super Earth, Shadowraze and various other minor RP servers but I never really felt a true Roleplaying experience, they felt like just a server with skills and trading but nothing really special no back story, no lore, and no one really Roleplaying.

How did you hear about us?:

I was browsing for a good server on google and this one was in a top 10 list. It looked really good so I decided to read more and make an app.

Biography (Please make this at least 2 paragraphs long. This must include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.):

Richard was born in a small village in Western Malinor. He was born with eyes the color of leaves and blonde hair that shimmered in the sun. His parents were Elifhin and Elbereth Willowmoon, Elbereth,his father was the best archer in the town and the captain of the local guards. Elifhin, his mother was the town healer and could heal almost any wound she was also a gardener in her spare time growing food to give to the merchants of the village. Elbereth taught Richard not only to shoot a bow but how to make one as well, he also taught him basic survival skills such as setting up a makeshift shelter and how to find food when needed. Elifhin on the other hand taught him his morals such as: Never killing animals unless completely necessary, to never steal, and to always be nice and kind to others even if they are the opposite toward you.

When Richard was 9 his life took a turn for the worse, it was around midnight in a night in summer when he was suddenly awoken by a shrill scream unlike any noise he had heard before, he leaped up out of his bed and ran to the window and tried to see anything through the blackness of night, all he could see is a few black figures running through the shadows. Richard ran to his parents bedroom and was nearly paralyzed when he saw an arrow running through his lifeless fathers chest with his mother being restrained by two of those black creatures he saw outside. "RUN Richard RUN!" Elifhin screamed. but as soon as he dis he was immediately blocked by a more muscular dark skinned creature, who grabbed him and looked at the others and said "Zhal usstan elgg ukta?" One of the two who looked more feminine than the other replied "Nau, Nindyn Darthiir Orn be a Kairuu Lu' Kaissa." The Dark skinned creature nodded and took me and my mother out the door and slammed us in to a cage like carriage with a few other people from the village who were all cowering in fear. One of the creatures slammed the door and the cart started moving a few minutes later. Richard turned to his mother with tears in his eyes and asked "mama what were those things?". Elifhin held him tight and said in a caring voice "Those were Mori'Quessir they are an elven race but they are not like us they are evil and vile and should not be trusted." Elifhin hummed a gentle tune and caressed Richard's head until he fell asleep.

The next day they were lead up to a town square where the Mori took the Elves they had captured onto a display like area where they were bound up and gagged. Then one by one people started shouting quantities of money and pointing to different slaves and yelling out like they were bidding "Fifty Minas!" one man would shout "One-Hundred Minas!" Another man would scream. Then a big muscular man walked into the square with a pouch of gold in his hand all the towns people quickly became quiet and made a path for the man to get through. "I want to buy the youngest male here for One-Thousand Minas I will be willing to pay more if it is appropriate ." The Mori quickly led Richard to the man and he threw the pouch of Minas to the female Mori. The man lead Richard to his carriage and ungagged him, "What's your name young Elf". "R-r-richard" Richard said cowering. "Well my name is Thomas Ironblood look i'm not like those other people who wanted to enslave you I want to help you and raise you until you are old enough to go off on your own." After the long carriage ride they finally arrived at a medium sized house and was given a grand meal when he arrived and It was fit for a wood elf too no animals were served at this meal.

Seven years went by and in that time Thomas taught him the history of the humans taught him how, and even how to cook. On Richard's 16th Birthday Thomas gave him a silver bow and a Quiver of arrows. "Richard go find your mother and get your revenge on those Mori!" Richard said his goodbyes and headed to Cloud Temple to start his journey.

What are your Character's ambitions?:

Richard wants to find his mother dead or alive and reunite with her, also he wishes to become a Ranger of the Forest and help people from bandits or even against the Mori. He also wants to get a house and find a companion to travel.

What is your character’s favorite tool? (sword, pickaxe, shovel, etc):

Richard use a bow mostly because it was the first weapon he used but also in remembrance of his father and of his culture he loves the sound of the "Twang" the arrow makes when it connects to a target. Most Importantly he uses it because it is the weapon he knows the most and feels most comfortable with .

What is one of your Character's most skilled talents?

Making Companions, he is still an technically a child so he needed to learn to make friends and travel in numbers so he usually tries to pull the innocent elven child approach but he still will have some thing he can provide to the group (such as his knowledge in cooking) so he doesn't feel like a burden.

Open-Response-Questions

Whilst traveling from the Cloud Temple you see a small halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond?

I think fast and come up with a plan, I start thinking of grim fate of my town and the sight of my father's death to get tears in my eyes, then I run up and frantically scream to the guards.

Richard:"Help, Help my mother is being assaulted by a bad man, please help me!"

They divert their attention away from the Halfling

Guard 1:"Where is she young Elf?"

Richard:"Follow Me!"

I take a really complex and almost tedious route to the middle of a forest then I swiftly run away from their view with the wind blowing in my face panting and almost out of breath by the time I get away. I wipe the sweat off my brow and sleep the night in a tree making sure to effectively camouflage my self so I will not be seen by the guards.

Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response?

I look to him as I am nearly bumped by a guard chasing a man who stole someones bread, I look at his wares and a particular bow catches my eye

Richard:"That is quite the bow you got there."

Merchant:"Ah yes Oak Fire it is the best bow I have, you know when it was in commission I saw it make a clean cut through someones head and still managed to kill the dog behind him as well"

I chuckle and look behind him to see a job opening as an assistant for cooking the food at his daughters birthday. I am close broke so I decide to ask him about it

Richard:"About that Job for your daughters birthday I would be willing to take it, and I don't want any Mina either only that bow."

Merchant:"Oh thank heavens no one has even considered taking that job for me you sir are a lifesaver I thought I would have to do that my self and god knows I can't cook anything without I tasting like rotten fish, the bow will easily be enough for your payment. The Job starts next week, and again thank you!'

I nod my head and walk away pleased and happy that, that nearly flawless bow will soon be in my hands.

Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?:

I look inside the chest and can't believe what I see, A sword made of pure gold! That's too good to be true, I look around to make sure this isn't a trap but then I remember one of the lessons my mother taught me back in the village when I was 6 I stole some cake from another villagers table when they weren't there my mother saw me do this and made me bake an entire new cake to repay the villager, my mother sat me down after that and asked me what I learned from this. I shrugged and said "I don't know..." She told me no matter how good something looks never steal from another person. I shake my head and close the chest I even put Ten Minas in there to punish my self for even thinking of stealing something.

Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you you in the common tongue, how do you respond?

My stomach is as empty as the void and my lips are as dry as the desert on a summer day as soon as I see the man I fall to my knees and beg for food "Please Help me I'm hungry and lost please help!". One of the females pick me up and take me to a chair at a table with a bowl of Lamb Stew and a Bottle of cold water fresh from the stream, I didn't want to eat the stew but my mother did say if your are in an emergency you may eat meat so I take a bite of it and it actually tasted better than Mushroom Stew! I eat it as fast I can and even clean my bowl when I was done "How much do I owe you?" I ask as I'm about to leave. "Nothing, We are happy to help a child here take this map we drew the route to the nearest town." I Look at the parchment and smile at the man and thank him once more and leave with the thoughts of the nice people I just met.

You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?:

As soon as I hear about them I am filled with rage, not only are they stealing from and killing innocent people they are a group of Mori! I immediately rush to the town center where a group of people are gathered to begin preparing for the attack. As soon as the guard sees me he chuckles says "Hey little elf run off this is for grown ups only" I get up close to him and shout "Listen, I don't know who you think you are but you were asking for anyone who is willing to help and that includes me, I'm not even asking for any Mina I just want to get my revenge!" The guard is surprised by my confidence and tells me to go with the others. We started walking through the forest to where the bandits were last seen but all of a sudden an arrow pierces the guy next to me and a group of Ten bandits rush out from the trees I quickly take out my bow and attempt to shoot one of them but he manages to catch my arrow and throw it at one of the guards hitting him directly in the eye killing him nearly instantly I look at his dead body and see a sheathed short sword I take it and prepare my self for anything A charging Mori runs to me with a dagger In his hand I swiftly move out of the way and stab him in the back with the short sword. I hear more of the screams from the people being killed, then I remember that day the Mori attacked my village, I become in even more Rage. The years of anger I had built up inside of me were all released into these few moments. I threw down my sword and Grabbed my bow again, with almost dead accuracy I shot an arrow into the leader of the groups head In that moment the rest of the Mori were stunned and almost insulted that a elven child killed their leader. In that moment of shock the rest of the guard took them by surprise and got a few attacks on them in their confusion by that time only 4 remained and they fled into the forest.

Anything else you would like to say?:

I would like to thank you for denying my first app, for some reason I liked making this one better. I am really excited to see what the server is like when i'm not just a wander soul.
