The Oral Tradition Challenged

Sauros stands aloft the stretching plains, the grass bare like the grooves of one's palm of hand. Looking upon the mysterious strangers adorned masks that share only the bottom half of their faces to those around them, he addresses them with cautious friendliness. As the crescent moons seems to draw itself outward to the world like a sickle upon harvest, he seems the eerie silhouette of a people thought long gone and preserved in the memory of the world; being reminded that they were people known as the Ghist. The Subudai had been known for their astounding memorization traits, having been honed from the generations passing down by word of mouth the many histories that they have collected as time continued; like the river collecting sediment atop a sandbar. Reminded subconsciously the memories of his father relating how the families of Ghist had died in Trinskiril, the land of the Ancient Hansetians, his eyes widen as he stares into the masks of the Ghist before him.

His memories do not fail, but the effort to clarify the Ghists' disappearance had failed at that moment, the dreary masks casting a shadow of doubt into Sauros. He clears his throat and continues to speak, sharing the histories of their people between themselves, the Ghasnen and Sauros. As they share, Sauros realizes the overt need to find evidences of the peoples of Ghist, Dervas, even the Ancient Subudai who once roamed freely the plains of Asulon...

[OOC: I am currently working on various ruins that will be included in quests, and make interesting landmarks for the nation. Stay tuned, NPCs will be set up right before the release of these ruins.]
