My name is James, I enjoy reading fantasy books and playing fantasy style games but have lacked a Minecraft server with these qualitys. Coming across lord of the craft is the best opportunity I have to live out these fantasys.

How much time could you be on the server weekly?:

I would be on the server at a average rate, depending on school hours and outer school plans, I do spend a decent time on Minecraft out of school and would be glad to devote that to the server.

What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you:

Roleplaying to me is acting, Living out a fantasy of a Character you would long to be in real life. Whether this would be taking part as a Magical, Mystical Magician or a Lightfooted talented ranger.

What experience have you had in Roleplaying, if any?:

I have had many experiences with Roleplaying amongst many Fantasy Games I have played such as World of Warcraft, Archeage and Guild Wars 2 (though in beta), I also roleplay in real life in Media studies/ Performing arts, a talent i want to persue in the future.

Placing out of Character info into your Games, where as your character should not know.

The power to display your characters emotions through movements. Emoting without giving the other character a chance to react.

What do you expect this server will be like?:

I expect this server to be a Adventure, filled with Fantasy Role playing, each person filling the shoes of a In Game warrior.

What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?:

I haven't played on many Minecraft servers, despite Minecraft Survival Games and some of my friends smaller hamachi servers. This server is the real "first" server i will be playing on.

Biography (Please make this at least 2 paragraphs long. This must include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.):

Maplebeard of forest Terradine, Son of Oldir lost his mother during child birth and lived with his father for most of his childhood. Oldir Taught him the survival skills he needed to survive Archery, Swordsmanship and the ability to sneak amongst the forest unseen and unheard. Oldir died when Maplebeard was age fifteen killed by Orcs on a Hunting expedition unable to bring back the meat Maplebeard desired. Maplebeard unable to find his father lived using his known skills his Fathers spirit always guiding his bow, aiding his arrows to hit the desired target.

Maplebeard grew as a typical Wood Elf to the age of nineteen living amongs the forest collecting food and fighting nearby dangerous bandits and orcs using his fathers Spirit within him always. At the age of twenty Maplebeard moved to the city on a search for his father believing he had left him for dead within the forest not knowing his father had been amongst him ever since his dissapearance. Unable to find his father within the city he sought the arcane arts which he used to find out his long five year search was to no avail, discovering him dead for five years. Within the Wood Elf community it was believed that the man who killed his father was Tarungh-orf, a man of great power and ability destined to be slained by a Wood Elf who would devour his heart and possess great Sneaking abilitys.

Maplebeard searched for the Orc Tarungh-orf in the dangerous mountains beside his fathers hand-built hut on a quest to find and slay the evil Orc avenging Oldir and laying his spirit to rest. Maplebeard discovers the now powerful Tarungh-orf, a huge Orc with no remorse for others nor his own people slaying Humans within the rocky mountains edge, for his reasons of complete hate of the race. Maplebeards blood quest sent him rushing into the massive Orc Tarungh-orf not able to stop himself from his anger at the nefarious Orc. Tarungh-orf slashed at the swift Wood Elf his big size the only downfall versing the light footed Maplebeard, loosing his arm before he was able to fight back with his axe of human remains. Maplbeard suffered a major wound into his hip before stabbing his hunting knife into the Orcs chest slowly and painfully cutting out his heart eating it like a savage as the Orcs body fell down the mountains edge. Maplebeard traveled back to his wooden hut, blood gashing from his wound unable to travel any further. Maplebeard laid on his bed his fingers covered with warm trinklets of his own blood ready for the oncoming death. Oldir appeared to Maplebeard and congratulated him on his success mending the wound with his hand before being released into the Heavens forever watching down on Maplebeard as he continued his quests. Maplebeard now continues to help the Wood Elfs, defending them from the horrors that plague Terradine.

Maplebeard has his mothers light shaded blue eyes, as well as brown hair like his father. His skin is tanned and a nice shade of gold allover his face and body. He is rather masculine and has very powerful muscly arms, his legs thin but athletic able to cover large pieces of ground within minutes. He has a scar crossing his chin, rememberance of the time the village was invaded by orcs when he was five. His hands are rather large allowing him the ability to carry even the heaviest of bows.

What are your Character's ambitions?:

To protect the Terradine people from the Evils of the Forest.

What is your character’s favorite tool? (sword, pickaxe, shovel, etc): Maplebeards favourite tool is his Bow, he is a Master of Archery.

What is one of your Character's most skilled talents?

Maplebeard has two main skills Archery and Sneak, he is most skilled at both of these traits.

Maplebeard is a very secretive, silent man and prefers not to interact with large amounts of people a personality he developed after his fathers death.

Open-Response-Questions

Whilst traveling from the Cloud Temple you see a small halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond? Maplebeard quickly releases his bow, and shoots the moneybag out of the armed warriors hand quickly having another ready before the bag touches the floor. He issues the two armed warriors a warning to leave the halfling alone and leave or face the consequences. If they dont leave Maplebeard fires his arrows upon them before they can move a metre.

Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response?

Maplebeard passes past the Merchant examines for a second and says "I havent a coin today" and walks off.

Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?: Maplebeard examines the surrounding area thoroughly as the abandoned hut looks rather suspicious, Maplebeard looks amongst the shadows to see whether any movement can be found for a few minutes, He trundles into the hut dagger at the ready safely poised like a cat about to pounce. He looks around tracking the floor for prints, finding none he takes the iron bars and golden sword as it is of no use to anyone laying there.

Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you in the common tongue, how do you respond?

Maplebeard would usually be able to find food by himself if there is any game around, being trained he is also able to survive twice as long as any Elf without food, but if need be Maplebeard grabs for coin making sure to always have his dagger at the ready beside him if need be and buys whatever food is available using coin or whatever he has available to trade.

You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?:

Maplebeard accepts the term to kill the bandits but suggests the town keeps the coin they have. He suggest the guards strike at them from the city road but strategically work around the bandits to cover all exits, here maplebeard finds a high view point and takes out as many as he can with his bow leaving the remaining scattered bandits into the flanks of the Guards. After they have scattered Maplebeard helps out the remaining partys slaying any stragglers who get away

Anything else you would like to say?:

Maplebeard is a very self reliant man, and isnt given in to earning coin most of the time having little on him if any.
