Small 2-3 Sentence Description of yourself:

My name is James, I enjoy reading fantasy books and playing fantasy style games but have lacked a Minecraft server with these qualitys. Coming across lord of the craft is the best opportunity I have to live out these fantasys.

How much time could you be on the server weekly?:

I would be on the server at a average rate, depending on school hours and outer school plans, I do spend a decent time on Minecraft out of school and would be glad to devote that to the server.

What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you:

Roleplaying to me is acting, Living out a fantasy of a Character you would long to be in real life. Whether this would be taking part as a Magical, Mystical Magician or a Lightfooted talented ranger.

What experience have you had in Roleplaying, if any?:

I have had many experiences with Roleplaying amongst many Fantasy Games I have played such as World of Warcraft, Archeage and Guild Wars 2 (though in beta), I also roleplay in real life in Media studies/ Performing arts, a talent i want to persue in the future.

In your own Words, define what the act of Meta-Gaming is:

Meta-Gaming is when someone uses external informantion to affect the game, using outside information that cant be obtained by your character, examples of this is another characters stats.

In your own Words, define what the act of Power-Emoting is:

Power emoting is expressing a action that cannot be changed by another player, giving you a advantage of them an example of this is "Player 1 Kills Player 2" this can be changed by instead saying "Player 1 attempts to kill Player 2".

What do you expect this server will be like?:

I expect this server to be a Adventure, filled with Fantasy Role playing, each person filling the shoes of a In Game warrior.

What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?:

I haven't played on many Minecraft servers, despite Minecraft Survival Games and some of my friends smaller hamachi servers. This server is the real "first" server i will be playing on.

I heard about this amazing server through a friend, who enjoys it thoroughly.

Biography (Please make this at least 2 paragraphs long. This must include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.):

Dae-Maethor was born in the Forest of Malinor, living in a rather small tree village in a desolate area of the forest. Dae-Maethor lived all of his childhood without a Mother who died giving birth to him. Dae-Maethor's father was a Hunter in the small village using skills he developed before the destruction of Al'Khazar leaving the city in a desperate mesure to save Dae-Maethor as well as his mother's life. Dae-Maethor's father Oldir was a wise and courageous man, a rare trait being as young as three centuries old. Oldir raised his son on the skills and knowledge of Archery a well developed skill to the Wood Elf people.

Dae-Maethor, Continued to develop his skills at Sneaking and Archery till the age of fourty-eight going out on every opportunity to go Hunting, bringing back many a feast to the small village of Malinor. Dae-Maethor's skills greatly developed over the year far surpassing those of his father his skills of fletching where high creating a very powerful arrow with even the smallest of materials often compensating for what he had in hand. Dae-Maethor's skills in skinning had greatly increased aswell making the finest of leather tunics then any had seen before. Dae-Maethor worked for the village constantly, always following his father on hunting trips and collecting leather to create armour for the village military. Dae-Maethor left the village to help the guards in finding a small bandit group hiding within the mountains close to Malinor that threatened the small village, searching for three days they found nothing coming back to the village with fresh meat they obtained when stumbling across a small group of pigs. Dae-Maethor reached the village to find it in chaos, buildings on fire and charred corpses scattered all-over the ground a site that would make even the strictest elf swear to Malin.

Dae-Maethor later found out that the village had been looted and burned by the bandits they had been searching for, waiting for the right moment when the guards left to ransack the city killing children, men and woman alike stealing all the resources the village had developed over sixty centuries. Dae-Maethor ran to his hut expecting the worse to occur, Oldir had been sleeping when he had left. Dae-Maethor came to discover his father stuck in the house as it burned down the tree very near from collapsing and logs piling around the house only a small hole where Dae-Maethor examined his father left, Oldir smiled at his son reaching his hand through the clutter of the treehouse grabbing his arm against Dae-Maethors arm saying "Son, do right not by me but by the village your mother would have been proud of what you have become. My spirit be with you always son." screams rised from Oldir's mouth as he was burned inside the hut Dae-Maethor unable to do anything but hold his fathers hand as it went limp. Dae-Maethor vowed to live by his fathers words, protecting the people of Malinor against Bandits and Orcs using the skills his father had taught him to try to rid them of there land.

Dae-Maethor now one one hundred and eighty years of age, still a young elf amongst his village has rebuilt what was destroyed and vows justice upon the people of Malinor, slaying any who comes between him and his people.

Dae-Maethor has his mothers light shaded blue eyes, as well as brown hair a rare attribute among the Wood elfs. His skin is a dark shade of cocoa a nice shade that covers his face and body, though most of his attributes are similar to his forefather Malin. He is rather masculine and has very powerful muscly arms, his legs thin but athletic able to cover large pieces of ground within minutes. He has a scar crossing his chin, rememberance of the time the village was invaded by orcs when he was five. His hands are rather large allowing him the ability to carry even the heaviest of bows.

What are your Character's ambitions?:

To protect the Terradine people from the Evils of the Forest.

What is your character’s favorite tool? (sword, pickaxe, shovel, etc): Dae-Maethor favourite tool is his Bow, he is a Master of Archery.

What is one of your Character's most skilled talents?

Dae-Maethor has two main skills Archery and Sneak, he is most skilled at both of these traits.

Other Information about your Character:

Dae-Maethor is a very secretive, silent man and prefers not to interact with large amounts of people a personality he developed after his fathers death.

Open-Response-Questions

Whilst traveling from the Cloud Temple you see a small halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond? Dae-Maethor quickly releases his bow, and attempts to shoot the moneybag out of the armed warriors hand quickly having another ready before the bag touches the floor (if bag is succesfully hit). He issues the two armed warriors a warning "Leaveth that Halfling be, my arrows are in need of a new dye". Dae-Maethor being a gracious and fair elf leaves the Bandits with the opportunity to live, but if denied he'll shower the bandits with arrows leaving them to bathe in there own blood.

Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response?

Dae-Maethor passes past the Merchant examines for a second "What wares do you have stranger, I haven't much coin but I am willing to percieve your fine wares" If Dae-Maethor finds something of interest he will buy it leaving the merchant with little extra coin, if not Dae-Maethor would answer "Your fine wares arn't of any use to me merchant, but thankyou for your kind offerings" leaving the merchant behind.

Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?: Dae-Maethor examines the surrounding area thoroughly as the abandoned hut looks rather suspicious looking amongst the shadows to discover whether any movement can be seen "Anyone there?" if finding no answer he trundles into the hut dagger at the ready safely poised like a cat about to pounce. He looks around tracking the floor for prints, finding none he takes the iron bars and golden sword as it is of no use to anyone laying there if of need Dae-Maethor keeps the iron bars and golden sword, if not he will pass it onto his village as they are in desperate need of fighting equipment.

Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you in the common tongue, how do you respond?

Dae-Maethor would usually be able to find food by himself if there is any game around, being trained he is also able to survive twice as long as any Elf without food, but if need be Dae-Maethor grabs for coin making sure to always have his dagger at the ready "I'll take the freshest meat you can muster", examing the food given to him he gives the coin to the merchant and says "Thankyou for your kind offerings" taking the food to be cooked deep in the forest, continuing on his journey.

You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?:

Dae-Maethor says "I may assist you in your problem, but keep the coin as your city may be in more need of it then I" Going up to the local captain Dae-Maethor says "Your guards should strike at them from the city's main road but place small company's around where the bandits camp to cover all the exits, I also request you allow me to lead a small band of archers". Dae-Maethor reaches a high point with the small group of archers and signals for the attack to take place taking out as many bandits as he can with his bow leaving the remaining scattered bandits into the flanks of the Guards. After they have scattered Dae-Maethor helps out the remaining partys slaying any stragglers who attempt to get away.

Anything else you would like to say?:

Dae-Maethor is a very self reliant man, and isnt given in to earning coin most of the time having little on him if any. Also I have added what the last two moderators requested I fixed in this essay, please specify any issues you have with this application.
