Do you have a good grip on the English language/good grammar?: I do happen to have that.

Small 2-3 Sentence Description of yourself: I am assistant director of my high school marching band. I participate in many school activities as well as game quite often, especially on Minecraft. I am a huge nerd when it comes to history, especially medieval history.

How much time could you be on the server weekly?: About 20 hours a week, give or take 5. Depends on my duties at home.

What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you: Roleplaying is when someone changes their normal self to act as someone or something else to their up most ability, while enjoying themself at the same time.

What experience have you had in Roleplaying, if any?: I have played many roleplaying games such as Runescape, World of Warcraft, and many others. I really enjoy roleplaying on minecraft servers. Particularly with a certain theme overall.

In your own Words, define what the act of Meta-Gaming is: Meta-Gaming is when someone uses information they know in real life and unfairly uses it in their roleplaying to benefit themselves, or maybe to hurt others.

In your own Words, define what the act of Power-Emoting is: Power-emoting is when you force an emote on another person without giving them a chance to react.

What do you expect this server will be like?: I expect this server to be quite fun and to be an amazing roleplaying experience for myself.

What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?: I have played on more minor servers. Most of them being faction based and RP. I played on a greek god server, a medieval server, and an amazing Island RP server. I left most of them because they sort of fell apart and some lost the RP aspect.

Character Name: Callax

What Race are you? (You may only be Human, Orc, Elf or Dwarf!) : Human

What Sub-Race are you? (note, you aren’t required to have a sub-race): N/A

Biography (Please make this at least 2 paragraphs long. This must include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.):

Callax grew up in the forests out side of Alras with an old philosopher named Darius. Darius was committed to the studies of the history of Aegis and Asulon. He acted as a father, and a mentor to Callax. You see, Callax never knew his real family. He was one day found by Darius aside a stream in the woods. Though Darius was an elderly man, he took Callax in and treated him as his son and taught him many things.

When Callax grew older, he became Darius' apprentice. He would run many errands to the Library of Alras to fetch books for Darius. In his free time, Callax would even check out a few books for himself to study up on, in hope to someday become as wise as his mentor. After many years, Callax still remained loyal to Darius, and still looked to him as his father and for guidance when he needed.

Once Callax reached the age of 21, he had become a smart, tall, and bearded young man. Darius knew it was Callax's time to leave his humble abode and to venture out into the lands on his own, and he feared he wouldn't be around for Callax much longer now, since he was so old. One evening, he sat down with Callax and told him it was his time to go. Callax always respected Darius, and knew he was a very wise man that he would obey no matter what. So Callax gathered up his few belongings, put a few minas in a small pouch, and said his goodbyes to his beloved mentor. Though he would miss Darius, Callax too knew that it was his time to start his own life.

What are your Character's ambitions?: Callax hopes to carry on the knowledge of his mentor, Darius, and to possibly become a philosopher himself. He also hopes to visit Alras to see Darius again.

What is your character’s favorite tool? (sword, pickaxe, shovel, etc): Callax's favorite tool is the book.

What is one of your Character's most skilled talents? Callax spent much time in the library of Alras and spent a lot of time studying, therefore he is most skilled in smarts and literature.

Open-Response-Questions

Whilst traveling from the Cloud Temple you see a small halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond? Callax would respond in a nice, sophisticated way to the guards, asking them to please back off. If they didn't leave the halfling alone then, Callax would try to distract them by asking them questions, and would shoo off the little halfling, then get away from them as well.

Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response? Callax would respond by asking what he had to offer. If there was nothing of interest, he would politely thank the man and tell him he isn't interested.

Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?: Callax would leave it all. One of the many things he was taught by Darius was never to steal, for it was unjust.

Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you you in the common tongue, how do you respond? Callax would respond by greeting them politely and ask if they could spare a small portion of food and for directions to the nearest town. If they offered the help, Callax would ask if he could repay them with a few minas.

You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?: Callax can't fight, so he just decides to leave the hard work to the more experienced fighters of the town. He wouldn't want to make any mistakes and put anyone in doom.

Congratulations! It is lovely to see a character who isn't a warrior joining the server. Your role-playing and powergaming definitions, along with your Open Response Questions were a little short for my liking, but were nonetheless acceptable, so welcome to the server!
