((Just a quick note, most of this goes on within a secure area, the only reason this is here is to document his work and should a gm/admin or loremaster see fit to rp a reaction/event caused by his work, be it an explosion or a successful test they can do so. All of this is going on within 202 shemona lane in holm))

Tenshar's Work Archive

First day of documentation- Irba, 4th of The Amber Cold, year 51

Irba.4.51- Have begun work on identifying any traits of the material known as "End Stone". Used one stone and ground to a fine powder, currently one third of said powder of the stone is cooking on the lab within a pure water solution, attempting to extract any solvents. Second vial contains sample of drake blood mixed with another third of the powder, will see what results once all liquids have been extracted and bottled as well as any solids ground into a dust. Third contains the final third of the end stone dust mixed with ground uncharged redstone and gunpowder*

While this cooks will continue work on trying to shape magnetic material into a counter lock, while one can shape the key the pins are posing a challenge, both properly ensuring they are encased in a non magnetic lock and are not strong enough to self attract jamming the lock. This may require a larger then normal key and lock to prevent

Blueprints for the S.T.E. cannon ball are currently under lock in the vault, testing planned in one month's time.

*Highly volatile, ensure assistant keeps watch at all times while seeing to the projects

Tolta.6 Of the Deep Cold.51-

A new idea was presented to me and I've decided it has some merit, though much research is required. I have mixed a small amount of endstone dust with bone meal and wheat, in the hopes that perhaps the growth enhancing traits of bonemeal and the traits of wheat may create a mix of end stone that has gained the trait of growth. The possibilities of such are quite interesting so I have decided to seal the vial using a vacuum caused by heat to remove the possibility of gaining any trait from air. Such process poses some risk to the vials.

Tolta.10 Of the Deep Cold.51-

I was approached today by the engineer's guild and requested to move the lab to a more secure work place in it's engineering district. I of course accepted, having more room to work will be a great help in the coming months and years. Work began immediately and I hope to have the facility up and running within the next few months.

Kamees.19 Of the Deep Cold.51-

The primary Lab is finished, and quite a piece of work if I do say so. Obsidian and iron make up the doorway, increasing the protection of those outside it from an accident. The Lab itself is equipped with my full personal lab with a rubber tree sap sealed chest keeping my materials air and water tight. The facility has redstone powered lighting, and when shut down the chairs retract allowing the sanitation system to wash the floor down and the other basic structures while the workstation itself stays safe. Drains remove the water and due to the depth natural heat dries the place quite nicely. Outside of this is the facility main room, which has the switches for both the lights and sanitation and is secured by a metal gate to be kept closed during any of my work or when I'm away. It also has a second emergency cleaner should I ever manage to light myself on fire or such and should be able to disperse any harmful materials that may get on me.

Some work remains but as it is now the lab is currently operating as hoped and offers a clean environment for both my lab and engineering work. I can only hope that with this work on the end stone can progress. I must research more on the material still and discover any hidden risks that these precautions cannot protect against, though so far the minutes amount and safety procedures seem to point to none of the sort. It may be that only the pure stone poses any hidden risks as rumor says.

--Note to self, re-engineer the S.T.E. and replace base material with netherack, possible uses for such are varied and may come of use at a later date and time. Will hope to have test prototype done for the S.T.E.'s testing as well.

As is, Holm is working out nicely

Intan.23rd of Malins.Year 53

Work continues in the main lab, though as of now the endstone enhancing project is at a point where I cannot advance the work without the assistance of a mage that has an affinity with earth magic and perhaps growth magic. For now I keep the 8 vials in lock down within the main lab beyond the obsidian and iron doorway. A list of the currently stored vials can be found on the inserted within the back of the journal. All but one is stored in a container that has a small light source, the other one being stored within a box of solid iron where no light may enter.

*The page is found at the back of the journal, worn and handled often it has numerous stains but the words can still be made out*

1: Drake's Blood and Endstone Dust

2: Uncharged Redstone, Gunpowder, and Endstone Dust

3: Water and Endstone Dust

4: Bone Meal, Ground Wheat, Endstone Dust

5: Crushed Ghast Tear, Endstone Dust

6: Crushed Ender Pearl, Endstone Dust

7: Blaze Powder, Ground Netherack, Endstone Dust

8: Ground Endstone, Stored in a box absent of light in an attempt to imbue with shadow traits.

*Written on what seems to be just a blank page in the pile of pages stored in the journal. Only seen when read with a candle behind the page*

9: Drake's Blood, Uncharged Redstone, Gunpowder, Water, Bone Meal, Ground Wheat, Crushed Ghast Tear, Crushed Ender Pearl, Blaze Powder, Ground Netherack, A large Amount of Endstone Dust, Six Drops of My Blood, And One Breath of Air From My Lungs. Stored within a container made of obsidian with a window of glass as thick as my wrist in the lid filled with ice water being constantly drawn into the box and then out by pipes leading from the near by ocean and then into the drains as heat is applied to the bottom of the vial by my heating device, the box is then placed in a location that by removing and re inserting a panel the vial can be exposed to light through the window or shrouded in total darkness. A final step is an iron rod attached to a location up high with an iron wire running into the vial, the wire is required not to touch anything on the way to the vial less the charge from a lightning strike be lost. *Came to me as I recovered in the hospital after being hit by lightning while working on my roof in chain mail. Reminder, never wear iron on a roof during a lightning storm*

List of possible elements imbued into the endstone by possible element traits of listed materials:

Fire: Netherack, Blaze powder (Gunpowder?)

Water: Water

Air: Breath of Air From My Lungs

Heat: Heating device

Cold: Cold water flowing in from ocean

Darkness/Shadow: Exposure one half day of total darkness each day.

Light: Exposure to light one half of the day

Life: My Blood

Growth: Bone Meal, Ground Wheat.

Lightning: The wire, though had to ensure the wire could not touch the gunpowder nor the redstone so placed in last with gunpowder and redstone added in first.

(Explosion?): Gunpowder

Unknown: Drake's Blood, Crushed Ender Pearl, Crushed Ghast Tear.

*A final note on the page reads*

"I think..perhaps only the gods know what this thing that I now create may do, for that reason it will be hidden from view and placed inside a secondary box of obsidian nearly impossible to break into, with walls of a thickness of 2 meters on every side, the only connection to it will be the lever used to open and close the shutter"

**A quick note, the journal is never carried by Tenshar, instead locked away somewhere I will not list here, so any information read here is only of an occ nature**

Tolta.17th of the Suns Smile.Year 55

Something comes, and I think only the dark gods know what. This evening I had my assistants while wearing the lab suits bring in a trap I had set out earlier in the forests near my home. Inside were about 3 large rats and one corpse of what looks to have been a lizard. I placed the cage in a air tight alcove and fed in smoke from the fire, within minutes the rats were dead and I started my work. On first examination the rats seemed like normal rats, but once the fur was removed all three showed signs of some sort of disease likely in its final stages. Working on the first one I made 6 incisions and peeled back the skin along the stomach and abdomen. Thankfully I had taken the time to craft a set of long tongs, allowing me to work on the rats without direct contact with my suits gloves, for even the thick wax treated waterproof leather might not be enough against the plague that has been infecting the livestock in various cities and in the wilds. I could see it in my assistants face that the smell must of been like that of a mass grave, as he quickly took to heaving up his lunch in the near by drain. Working quickly I had him burn my strongest incense to try to block out the smell and then returned to the examination. The flesh of the rat was pocked with blisters and lesions, and the eyes were dull and grey, it is quite possible the creature was blind or nearly blind before its death. In some places on the body I found creatures more accustomed to the flesh of the dead, including various insects and worms. On examining the other 2 the same results were found, at which point I placed the bodies within the incinerator as well as the tray and all tools or objects that touched the corpses along with the gloves, the on leaving the inner lab I made use of the shower to wash the lab suit and then placed it within the storage station and took a second shower for precaution.

-I will have to find someone of the medical field with an understanding of disease for the next examination, as more information is needed before any possible understanding can be claimed. I will also need to examine the tainted crops to the best of my ability.
