In the Village of Riven in the Nation of Salvus, there lies a notice board, overflowing with notices, letters and other posters.

To my citizens and visitors,

Riven has fallen into a state of disrepair, with several our friends leaving to pursue other callings or passing on to be with God. Whatever their fate, Riven must go on. I, Countess Winter have left on this message board a series of tasks and jobs that need to be done. I have also included a series of positions and professions that Riven could benefit from having placed.

I am offering a reward for their completion, each reward is weighed to their labor. Contact me if you are interested in any of the postings

-The Trees

Within our village boundary, the woods are invading our homes allowing the creatures of the night freedom to parade about our town. I will pay 10 minas for every log brought to me from the clearing of this wood. The Boundary is marked in stonebrick.

-The Town

Recent planning has made our need for vacant homes unneeded, and I will pay for them to torn down cleanly and stored in our storage. I will pay 250 minas for every vacant home deconstructed.

-The River

The River has become polluted with Sugar Cane and I need them removed. I will pay 200 Minas for the entire job.

-The Armory

Our stores are growing low, we will pay for any sword, axe, quiver of arrows, armor, or bow. Speak with Uthor Silverblade to barter.

-Lumbermill

We are planning a bi-county Lumbermill for the purposes of export and trade. The area for the new mill needs to be cleared along with the buildings within it's boundaries.

Guards - 300 Minas Per Elven Week - No advancement, bonuses, Constant work schedule, No Union.

Oath, patrol, take, orders, slay enemies of Riven. Pay is based on position given by Guard Captain. Rite of Loot, free food and bunk.

Innkeeper

Need someone to work our inn, wage is payed in commission, inn can be purchased to run privately.

The Riverside Inn - 15,000 Minas

The only building left standing of Riven's second go around, this Inn houses up to 6 guests and has a spacious tavern for transients looking to get hammered. Building and Business is for sale for 10,000 Minas. Other forms of payment are open.

The Lower Salvus Lumbermill - 20,000 Minas

Projected to service the Counties of Solace and Southern Salvus with Lumber, the new Riven Lumbermill is a current work in progress.

The Riven Mine - 50,000 Minas

One of the few Hard Stone mines in Salvus, the lack of production from Riven has halted most architectural plans in Solace, work must begin again.

The Smith and Foundry

Riven is a center of Military training, and any smith who could stand being in one place for very long would stand to make a killing.

Open Plots

Either for tilling or building, the Counties controlled by I and my husband are open for discussion of sale. Prices vary depending on intent and acreage.

Housing

Once the our rebuild is complete, all current home-owners will have first selection. Afterwards all homes will be open for sale. Prices will vary on size.

I am currently drawing up the plans for the Mill, in the meanwhile there is a bunk in our inn if you would like to take it, we will need to clear the woods where the Mill is planned to be located, construct a new bridge, and pave a road to link the mill to the Andromeda Road.
