GMT - United Kingdom, England.

Do you have a good grip on the English language/good grammar?:

I would say so, yes.

Small 2-3 Sentence Description of yourself:

I am your average 18 year old, really. I enjoy going out and socialising with friends, playing football (foot-to-ball not the game where the foot rarely touches the ball) and spending perhaps a little too long on computer games.

How much time could you be on the server weekly?:

I couldn't give you a definite here, sometimes I'm busy, sometimes not so much; I'd say that I'd be on for about 8 - 10 hours a week. Probably longer during holidays mind-you.

What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you:

Roleplaying to me is not only the act of playing a role but also contributing to a greater experience for everyone; I believe that roleplay is a collaborative effort and the more people properly roleplaying together the greater the experience will be.

What experience have you had in Roleplaying, if any?:

I've had a good eight years roleplaying experience in many places ranging from forum RP to Garry's Mod.

In your own Words, define what the act of Meta-Gaming is:

Meta-gaming is the act of using information you have not attained in character, in character.

In your own Words, define what the act of Power-Emoting is:

Power-emoting is where you force your actions on somebody rather than making an attempt e.g. - 'Bob kills the Elf' which should actually be, 'Bob attempts to kill the Elf.'

In your own Words, define what Out of Character (OOC) is:

OOC is anything not directly related to your character or the world your character is a part of.

In your own Words, define what In Character (IC) is:

IC is anything said and/or performed by your character.

What do you expect this server will be like?:

I'm not one for random guessing so I'll reserve judgement until I've played :P

What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?:

I have not roleplayed on a Minecraft server at all until now, this is my first time getting into the Minecraft RP scene.

Have you read, understood, and agreed to the rules?:

Yes.

Do you promise to abide by said rules, and laws? This includes the Server, Forum, and Teamspeak set Rules:

Yes.

How did you hear about us?:

From a friend.

In-Character:

Character Name:

Valorius Vendosis

What Race are you? (You may only be Human, Orc, Elf or Dwarf!) :

Elf

What Sub-Race are you? (note, you aren’t required to have a sub-race):

N/A.

Biography (Please make this at least 2 paragraphs long. This must include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.):

Valorius Vendosis was born, as most other Elves, in the great forests of Asulon. He was most fortunate throughout his youth as he had a caring family that wished for him to do well in life, and as such they ensured that no matter what he did, he would always have money to finance it. Most of his childhood was spent as a bully, he had a tendency to pick on the other children to make up for his own incompetencies and because of this he had few friends at that age.

Growing up, Val became a fine archer, he was never seen practicing much so it was rumoured that he was naturally proficient with a bow. He was never that lucky mind-you, many a hard day was spent practicing in the wilds -- his mentor taught him that to become any good he must become one with his bow and because of this he never went anywhere without it. At age 17 he became a hunter, providing food for the local populace -- providing they had the coin to pay for it. He was not necessarily a kind man, but not such a nasty one either. He grew up to act in the best interests of his race, whether this meant committing foul deeds or quite the opposite. Good and Evil was nothing more than subjective terminology to him, and as such he acted in the best way he could that fit the situation.

At the present day he is 23 years old and to this day still a fine hunter. He is roughly 6ft, 3" and of a slender build.

What are your Character's ambitions?:

Val aspires to become the leader of a fine group of hunters, or perhaps even join the military at a later date. He tends to be quite the introvert, and surprisingly this has been extremely beneficial to him thus far.

What is your character’s favorite tool? (sword, pickaxe, shovel, etc):

His bow, he sees it as less of a tool and more of an extension of his body however.

What is one of your Character's most skilled talents?

Archery

A screenshot of your skin (must be in proper format, if you do not know how to acquire one, copy and paste this link into your browser: ( http://tinyurl.com/Lotcscreenshot ):

Other Information about your Character:

Tall, slender build with thick blond hair and blue eyes. He wears a thin white cloak the majority of the time, why this exactly this is is currently unknown.

Open-Response-Questions

Each and every question must be answered with a minimum of a single full paragraph and entirely in RP.

Whilst traveling from the Cloud Temple you see a small halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond?

Val stood silent for a moment, he furrowed his brow as he assessed the situation. The small halfling didn't look very wealthy so even if he was to rescue him it was doubtful that he'd get any reward for doing such. He also considered whether he'd even be able to rescue the unfortunate, being an archer and as such being lightly armoured it would be quite impossible for him to rescue the halfling and therefore he promptly left the area. Provided he was not seen.

Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response?

Val nonchalantly looks across toward the merchant, he diverted his gaze from the merchant and began looking around for something of interest; it took only a few minutes for him to find something that caught his eye and as he did so he grinned, looking towards the merchant once more. "I'll take the silver bottle over there, my favourite liquor hehe." He said, before putting his hand in his pocket to pull out some minas.

Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?:

Val continues to traverse the great mountain range before reaching a rather small hut. 'What is anyone doing living this far in the wilds?' He thought before lifting himself up the rocky surface and moving closer towards the building -- the door was wide open, traces of conflict all around. He continued to move closer before coming to an abrupt halt as he neared the doorway, he peeked around the corner to make sure nobody was there and he certainly couldn't see anyone, as such he entered and took the sword, leaving as quickly as he entered. He could pick up a good price for the sword, but the bars would be useless to him. He was no smith and they'd be extremely cumbersome throughout the rest of his hunt.

Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you you in the common tongue, how do you respond?

This character is a hunter and thus it is highly unlikely that he'd be hungry and lost in the wilderness. Lost perhaps, certainly not hungry though, he hunts near every day of his life.

You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?:

Valorius nods towards the guardsman, he was certainly low on minas at the moment so he took up their offer with barely a moments thought. "Ahem." He coughed, making them aware of his presence.

"If one were to take up this offer, what would be the reward?" He'd ask, not really caring how much it was but he had to keep up appearances. Upon hearing just how much they were really offering he removed his bow from its sheath and grinned, "Where d'ya want me?" He asked, preparing for the inevitable conflict; bandits weren't going to leave easily for sure.

Anything else you would like to say?:

Nope.
