Do you have a good grip on the English language/good grammar?: Yes, I try not to be a grammar nazi, but I make sure I know what I am doing.

Small 2-3 Sentence Description of yourself: Well, I have been an active roleplayer for the last three years. I enjoy socializing with people, and I also enjoy roleplay. So, on a Minecraft server roleplay, I am able to do both. I try to be respectful, and mature at all time, usually successful.

How much time could you be on the server weekly?: Anywhere from 21-36 hours.

What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you: Playing as something else, that is interesting to ones mind.

What experience have you had in Roleplaying, if any?: Four server roleplays, Kingdom of Aeonis, Chronicles of Turius, Silver Age, and Land of Yalin/Olavin. I also do forum roleplaying on the side, and DnD roleplaying.

In your own Words, define what the act of Meta-Gaming is: Your character, knowing something through OoC information, and abusing it in the Rp.

In your own Words, define what the act of Power-Emoting is: Controlling ones character, causing reactions of another's character, and dealing damage to one's character without them wanting it.

In your own Words, define what Out of Character (OOC) is: Information, or conversations that have nothing to do with the Rp.

In your own Words, define what In Character (IC) is: Everything that has to do with your character, in the roleplay.

What do you expect this server will be like?: Well, from my knowledge, and the large forum page, this server has been running a long time, and is very successful. I am hoping this will be a fun experience, and I will be able to learn from it.

What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?: Kingdom of Aeonis, the staff were all leaving, and the remaining ones were unreasonable and impossible to talk with. Chronicles of Turius, shut down, and from my knowledge never came back up. Silver Age, shut down due to corruption within server files, and I never found myself going back. Land of Yalin/Olavin, I have not left.

Have you read, understood, and agreed to the rules?: Yes, yes, and yes.

Do you promise to abide by said rules, and laws? This includes the Server, Forum, and Teamspeak set Rules: Yes, yes, and yes.

How did you hear about us?: I downloaded Hawk's mod pack, and that was what got me thinking of applying. I have heard, and read up on this server before, but I was busy with another, so I was unable to apply to this.

Character Name: Skale Raze

What Race are you? : Human

What Sub-Race are you?: None

Biography:

Skale was born to an average family, his father a town guard, and his mother a farmer's help. Skale always looked up to his parents for their compassion, and love of the world around them. He learned to help others around him from his father, and learned patience from his mother. Until the age of ten, Skale was just a normal child, with a normal family. But, according to town law, all boys at the age of ten must be trained to become a guard when they reach the age of sixteen. Much to his fathers dismay, Skale was excited to become a a warrior of compassion like his dad. For the next six years, he was trained with the blade, and taught to read and write by his mother. When he finally reached sixteen, he was drafted into the guard, and was able to work with his father, and the other guards.

In the village, one must serve the guard for a single year, before being able to leave the village, or take another job. After his year of service, his mother and father brought him a blade, and a book. The book was only a few pages, but it was something that his mother saved for that very day. As he opened it, his eyes filled with tears.

The book was something that he drew at a very young age. It was of him, with a bag and a blade. Skale did not notice the blade yet, so when his father tapped his shoulder and held out the blade to him, Skale was unable to speak. He took the blade silently, and looked at both his parents in thanks for reminding him of his dream. The next day, he set out on his adventure, with his mother and father on his mind.

What are your Character's ambitions?: To become the greatest swordsmen in the world. (I don't know who the current one is....)

What is your character’s favorite tool? (sword, pickaxe, shovel, etc): Sword because it's what Skale trained with as a boy.

What is one of your Character's most skilled talents? He is a swordsman, clever, and agile.

Other Information about your Character: He is an aspiring swordsmen, and a fan of the fine arts. He does not prefer combat, but he trains with the blade just in case he must.

Each and every question must be answered with a minimum of a single full paragraph and entirely in RP.

Whilst traveling from the Cloud Temple you see a small halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond?

Skale is walking away from Cloud Temple, and along the way he heard a shout for help. He looked in the direction it came from, and saw a halfling, being harassed by two armed men. Skale stood watching for a few seconds, before deciding this must stop. So, he made his way over to the group and tapped on one of the men's shoulders. "Excuse me sir."

"What do you want kid?" The armed man snarls as he looks over Skale, clearly noticing how young he is. "Get out of my face, before I make you." He turned toward Skale and raised his sword menacingly.

"I would rather not fight, and I doubt you would want to end up in a prison. I heard the shouts, and pleas for help earlier, I spoke to a few of my companions, and they are currently surrounding us. I would suggest leaving."

"What!?!? You little!" The assailant's hand sails through the air, and smashes Skale to the ground. He runs over to his companion, and whispers something into his ear. The other one looks at Skale and spits. Shortly after, the two men run off away from him and the Halfling.

Skale stands up, and dusts himself off. He grits his teeth from the pain, and approaches the halfling. "Are you alright sir?"

"Yes, thank you for the help, without you, I fear I would have been robbed." He nods in thanks, and walks off. Skale smiles and walks in the other direction.

Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response?

Skale looks at the man and smiles. "Well, I am just browsing the market stalls today. I am not sure what I would like, but let me search and I will get back to you, sound good?" He smiles at the merchant in wait.

"Sounds fabulous, get me if needed." He walks off, most likely to con the other's searching the stalls. Skale walks up and down the rows, and searches his wares. Unable to find anything he really liked, he walked back over to the man. "Find anything sir?"

"No, sorry, I do not have that much gold anyway, when I do get some, I will come back." Skale nods respectively to the man and walks off.

Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?:

As Skale wanders through the wilds, of some unknown land, he comes across a hut. After looking over the exterior, he realized it was abandoned. He enters inside, and opens up one of the chests inside. "I wonder if there is anything interesting..." Skale said to himself, as it opened. "Wow!" Skale examined the excellent craftsmanship in the blade, not even noticing the iron ingots. He closes the chest and looks down at his own blade. He finds that it is chipped, and rusted in several places. After a few minutes of thought, Skale decided to put the blade back and leave the area.

Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you you in the common tongue, how do you respond?

As Skale stumbles into the camp, he is greeted by someone who spoke his language. "Hello sir, who are you, and why are you so far out in these woods?" The male asks him.

"Well, I was helping a man find his pet dog, and I got lost. I do not know how long ago, but I ran out of food and water a day or so ago. I know I just met you, but do you have any food or water to spare someone like me?" He smiles and bows respectfully.

You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?:

After hearing about a certain reward for clearing out some bandits, Skale went to the gathering of warriors that all heard the same. He asked around for several minutes, trying to find whoever was in charge. Someone finally told him who, and where the Captain was. Skale nodded in thanks, and practically ran to the captain. After explaining how he wished to aid the captain, he was accepted and joined the waiting men and women.

Quite a good application! ORQs are rather detailed and the bio is simple, yet effective. One thing lacking is that you do not incorporate any server lore. Please take some time to read the forums and wiki, so you understand what has happened within the server over the last year or so.
