A parchment notice is seen pinned up in bars and on posts all across Asulon, including Cloud Temple. The script is bold and slanted.

The Tall Tale Tavern, a brand new inn and pub now opening in the Elven capital of Normandor! This brand-new building, built in the Oren architecture style, features a fully-stocked bar on the entrance level, above which are two comfortable, windowed rooms for rent. The stair-accessed basement is a spacious tavern area, with tables to gamble, eat, and drink at, all the while enjoying live performances happening on the nearby stage! Gamble in exciting games of chance and cunning with the other guests, and win big in games such as Double-Two or Round! All are welcome to come enjoy the new tavern, whether ye be from Malinor or not, whether ye be human or not! We welcome all kinds!

A GRAND OPENING PARTY is being hosted tomorrow from ((6PM-8PM PST))! Free bread-sticks for all!

Location: Normandor, Malinor. Take the ship from Cloud Temple Docks, and once ye arrive at the Normandor docks, take the first right ye come to.

The bold cursive note is signed with the name, "A.Gideon"

OOC:

Note: Any use of the below information without acquiring it in-game is META.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Rooms - 20 minas per night

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Menu:

Ale - 3 minas/mug

Wine - To be determined

Various other foods - To be determined

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Tall Tale Games of Chance:

Rolling-Four - Players start by contributing equal amounts of minas(5 each for low stakes, 25 each for casual stakes, 100 each for high stakes). Each player then rolls four dice (one single command of /roll 24), and whoever rolls the highest number wins the pot. Ties split the pot.

Round - Players take turns rolling a twenty-sided die. Before each roll, the player rolling picks a number between one and twenty, then puts their bet in the pot. Then they roll once. If they roll the number they picked, they win the contents of the pot. If they don't roll the number they picked, the person to the left takes a turn, adding another bet to the pot and attempting to roll the number they picked. Players keep taking turns until someone wins the pot. However, each time it's your turn, you must add twice as many minas to the pot as you did last turn. For example, if on your first turn, you added one, on your second turn you add two, and on your third you add four, and so on.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

All bards and skalds, or performers of any kind are welcome to either book a performance (free advertising provided pre-show) or hop on the stage if it's empty!

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

TAVERN MISSION: My goal with the Tall Tale is NOT to make money, or a profit of any kind. It is to provide an enjoyable, high-quality roleplay enviroment. Because of this, those who enter the premises and attempt to participate in or purchase anything WITHOUT roleplaying shall be KICKED OUT IMMEDIATELY. This means, if you wish to buy a mug of ale, it will not be me tossing a milk bucket in your face and you wordlessly sending me 3 minas. Instead, it will be me buzzing about the bar as I prepare your ale, filling the mug and handing it to you through emotes, (then handing you the actual item), then YOU emoting how you draw the minas/coin purse out of your bag/tunic and count out the coins, then give them to me through emotes. (then you sending me the OOC minas) Of course, the paying of ACTUAL minas or the receiving of ACTUAL ale is completely optional. The whole thing can be roleplayed without money systems or items as far as I'm concerned.

The above was simply an example, not a script. The point is, one does not simply come into the Tall Tale and not use emotes. Everything should be roleplayed, including entrances, exits, drinking, eating, rolling dice, laughing, singing, anything you might do. My hope is to develop this into a place for people who love good roleplay, and a bit of gambling and drinking, to come and party.

Oh, and nurturing lots of activity in this tavern and turning it into a tourist attraction would REALLY help increase the activity in Normandor. So there's another plus to spending time in the Tall Tale.

**Sylvan sticks a small torn piece of parchment underneath the first**

Great to hear another inn is open around Malinor! I thought there weren't enough!

Anyway, I was thinking, I could sell you wine for 30 minas each, also, I would be willing to work there for any wage you are willing to pay
