[[This is Non-Canon to when I actually start playing my character, everything read here is merely a glimpse into the life of one of my new characters]]

Prologue

Who would have thought this would have happened to me, laying in a pool of my own blood. This woman, she tricked me. I could hear her laughter as if it were the screams of Sirens. There were a few moments where I would be able to pick myself up and crawl away, but with a arrow in my back and my mouth full of my own blood, I felt like giving up... but before I do so, allow me to tell my story. One that if gets out, would become history etched in the history books of Asulon. If only I had the strength to get my hat...

Chapter one - Blood Red Vixen

Another quiet cold night, much like the rest. Days seemed to have been getting longer as I was running out of work to do. No one coming in to ask for help recently. The only companion in the whole agency was my glasses, of which I grew bored of quickly. Tapping my finger against the spruce wood desk as I quietly drifted into slumber, smiling at the hand drawn portrait of my family. Two boys two girls and a lovely wife of mine.

"Hello there... Investigator." A ladies voice broke into my head like Dwarves mining into my skull, opening my eyes as she sat on my desk, looking back at me as I woke up. Man if I wasn't married I would have asked her out on a date. A gorgeous elven woman with slender features, Hair like flames and eyes like the soft earth. I could already tell she was married, however as my eye fluttered open.

"Well well well, the creator was a bit late making my other dream girl" Smooth, very smooth, I could tell this lady meant business, seeing the guards outside my agency as I looked back to her. She smiles and shook her head, hair waving wildly like flames on oak. Her hair wasn't the only thing blood red, looking at her dress as I saw a glimpse of red throughout. She was definitely something else as she began to speak

"You flatter me, I guess it is quite a way to start a polite conversation. I wonder how your wife would react to you flirting with me?" She tilted her head slightly as she giggled, that moment of playfulness resonated in my heart as I looked to her with a smile, however I was curious as to how she knew of my wife of ten years. Raising my eyebrow as I asked her for her business.

I knew from the start, that this Blood Red Vixen might just be the death of me, but I might as well die happy.

Chapter Two - Crying for Help

The playfulness of the conversation ended as she grabbed for my hand, crying as she looked at me with those wet eyes. I took my cloth out as I offered it to her to wipe that pretty face of hers, a woman like her shouldn't be in tears. I took my hat off as I smiled, rubbing her hand to comfort her as I looked into her eyes. For a moment, I could feel her emotions. Too bad I'm a sucker for ladies who cry their hearts out on my desk.

"No more tears now dear, tell me what Bracen Grath can do for you?" I helped her shaking hand clean her face as she smiled and regained her composure. Offering her another piece of cloth, you know, just in case her eyes began to storm once more. She smiled as she cleaned her eyes, taking the cloth as she looked to me, eyes like crystals as I smiled again, trying to comfort her as I always do.

She began to tell me about how her friends would go missing, and how she would find body parts hanging from her doorway, or if they were heads, that they would be on pikes. The worse was when she was away on vacation in Armaluna, when she came back, her house was painted red, three more of her friends body parts scattered or attached to her house in gruesome fashion.

I asked her why she didn't just move. Man that was a bad idea as she seemed to grumble angrily at me, he continued on saying that they knew where she was at all times. Hence the guards outside. I suddenly thought to myself, what if the lowlife is one of her guards? What if this scum of the earth was right next to her? I said nothing as she continued.

I was glad I gave her another cloth as tears broke free from their cage. The woman wiping her eyes as she continued to tell me that her son was the target of these thugs. That they managed to kidnap him and that she had no mina to pay the thugs for his safe return. That she came to me, to see if I couldn't track down the lowlifes who stole a child from its mother. I clasped both her hands, looking at her dead in the eyes as I said in a serious voice.

"I will bring him back to you my dear, rest well. If you need, you can live with my family, its not the first time I took someone into protective custody." I remember when I took a kings son into protective custody, he was quite well adjusted for a royal. I'd hope she would be the same as I gave her my spare set of keys and a map to my home. Taking my hat back on my head as I stood up.

"If you need anything, just send me a bird. Make sure you direct it to" I smiled as I looked back. Adjusting my hat down as my eye looked to her from the corner of my head.

"Bracen Grath, Investigator of missing peoples, defender of the innocent." I grabbed for my blade and bow, putting them to my waist as I walked out, nodding to the guards she had brought. None of them seemed to carry that strange vibe, but still, soon I would need to investigate each and everyone of them.
