Lyra leisurely walks down the road, looking at the numerous messages pinned on top of each other. She quickly skims over the newest paper, not bothering to read the message.

"Nice drawin's."

Faldo chuckles at the crude doodle of Faldo, Tibb, Lobo and Folco riding the waterfall down in boats at the cloud temple. He recalls what a most excellent adventure it was, but then also remembers the pirate scum and shudders slightly.
