[OOC] Taxes and Quotas

I know we are one day late for taking in quotas and for that we apologize. We will need to handle payments a little differently due to the new system. It is now impossible to pay directly to someone who is offline. I will be working on getting payments out to those who have filled their quotas ASAP.

However with minas being a physical object it means taxes can be paid in a different way.

For quota payments, we will be leaving the payment in the form of a Mina Note in your quota chest. Be sure to pick those up and store them wherever you keep your wealth. Loss of a mina note after you receive it is your responsibility.

For payments on Taxes, we will accept either Emeralds or Mina notes. You can give these to a Prince directly. We will either be opening a new structure in the future for non-workers to pay their taxes, or we'll put a lockbox in front of their home to be checked by our tax collectors.

We're still discussing the logistics of updating our system, but I wanted to let you all know we haven't forgotten about it. Also we will not be assessing taxes for this past week. So balances will be frozen and debts will not accrue. But that is only for last week. This saturday coming up will be a normal week however, so make sure quotas are filled and taxes are paid. I will post a list of people who owe taxes in the other thread.
