Yes, this is my third character that I'm applying for on this server. I also play, on occasion, D & D and a game called “Pitfalls and Penguins”.

How did you hear about the Lord of the Craft?:

Way back in the day, almost a year ago, I was browsing Youtube when I stumbled upon the Lord of the Craft trailer. I was very intrigued and decided to join this community.

Roleplaying is the act of playing a character that you have created. You must act like, think like, even feel like the character you are playing as.

Meta-gaming is the act of using your real-life knowledge as a character. Your character doesn't know these things yet you would use them why RP ing.

Power-emoting is when you do something that is physically, mentally, or emotionally impossible for your character. For example, you are an elf that likes to cast spells and never works out: You wouldn't be able to break down a door of any sort, break through a wall, etc.

Character biography - Make this at least 2 paragraphs long, which must explain your character’s history, appearance, personality, age and any other details you deem necessary:

Penolope was always a shy girl, until the day everything changed. Penolope lived on a small farm out in the wilderness very far north of Karik. Her father and her would raise wheat, melons, sugar cane, and pumpkins to be sold at the market. They also had lots of livestock: cows, sheep, chickens, pigs, and a very rare “mooshroom”. Every morn, Penelope woke up and gathered the eggs out of the chicken coop. She would prepare them like she and her dad liked; fried with lots of butter. But one day things seemed strange. She had just gathered the eggs that morn and walked into the house like normal. Her dad was pacing, like he was stressed or nervous or had gone crazy. She didn't know what to think until her dad told her to sit down. She sat expecting to be lectured or praised. “Listen, honey. We need to get going,” her dad said. “They are coming and we can't be here when they do. Go pack your things and we'll be leaving shortly,” said her anxious father.

Penelope was very scared so she packed hastily, forgetting a lot of things. She was terribly haste when making her way down the stairs of their house, that she tripped and fell onto her father. She said she was sorry and went out to the stables to choose a pig to travel away on. She picked a slim, small one who's name was Ragnek. She took a carrot and put it on a stick and both of them lead their pigs away from their farm. They made a stop at a road-side brothel and they stepped inside. She was kind of sketchy while they were there, so she made sure she had her knife hidden inside her boot. She knew she was of age and didn't want the other men to mistake her for one of the “entertainers”. She and her father sat at the bar and got some ale. Her dad got very drunk and almost fell over multiple times. She knew things weren't going so well for him.

Her father suddenly changed. He grabbed Penelope by the shoulders and forced her to dance for him. She didn't want to abide, but he had threatened to kill her. So she went to one of the poles and danced for the crazed audience. While dancing she was thrown many minas, which she later pocketed. Soon she decided she would be done dancing; having gathered over 2000 minas. Her father was engraged that she stopped and gripped her viciously taking her to one of the private rooms. There he sexually threatened her, but she resisted and pulled out her knife. Her father attempted to punch her but she was quick and dodged it. She was behind him when she kicked him into the wall he had punched. She looked at her knife; then at her father. She had a flash-back of the good memories on the farm, and then remembered what just happened. She took one last look at her father's face and she knew what she had to do.

She left the brothel with a bloody knife, 2000 minas, almost no dignity, and eyelids full of tears. She hurried away on Ragnek, hoping the body wouldn't be found any time soon. She eventually found her way to the Sanctuary and realized how badly wounded and hungry she was. The monks there helped her revive and she started to feel better.

What are your characters ambitions?:

To someday find a replacement for her messed up father (probably a husband) and replace her family's beloved farm.

Is there anything else you would like to say about your character:

She has fiery red hair like most Mountain Dwarves. She is of age (18 in human years) which is 146 in Dwarven years. She loves to farm and shoot targets. She is not so shy anymore and realizes her ability to be stealthy and lethal.

Upon entering the Mighty Human City of Arethor, you come across a shop-keeper calling out to sell his wares to passers-by. The shopkeeper is not a Human, he is a poor dwarf looking to make a living in a new city. What is your response?

I would investigate his inventory of wares of which he is selling. I understand what it's like to start new because of the recent events in my life. I'd try to make a deal, so I don't seem so nice. If he doesn't accept I'll threaten to leave and he'll say, “no no, I'll sell to ye”. I buy some of his good with my filthy money. “Thank you, sir” I would say.

You’re in the Cloud Sanctuary late at night, when a large Orc begins to threaten a nearby dwarf. The only present monk is fast asleep, and the situation looks like it will escalate into violence soon, what does your character do?

I step behind the dwarf and offer my hand in battle. The dwarf would look at me like I'm an idiot but I'd show my well-hidden knife. If combat would start, I'd run over to the monk and shake his shoulder vicously until he woke up. If things got really bad and the monk didn't help, I'd flee for my life.

Whilst walking down the road to Malinor, you stumble upon an old man. His walking stick , looks weak and frail, and just as you are about to ask something, the stick breaks, and the man falls to the ground. As he falls down, a bag of Minas falls to the ground, and splits open. As you watch the multiple coins

spill out, you peer down at the defenceless man. What does your character do?:

I walk over to the man and offer to pick up the minas. I put them back in the bag of his and return them to the man as I help him stand up. I offer to get him a new stick and I walk to the nearest wild forest and cut down a tree, turning the logs into planks. I then craft the planks into a new staff for the man.
